Party (Part 2 )
“It’s Jayce’s birthday?” I asked in shock.
“Yup!” April answered happily.
“Why wouldn’t you tell me that? I had no idea and I didn’t even get him a gift!” I told her in a panic.
April waved her hand in the air. “Jayce doesn’t want any gifts.”
“So, his birthday is today?” I clarified.
“No, it’s tomorrow, but the McKinney’s do things differently. They always host the party the night before and cut the cake at midnight. It’s awesome!” April explained.
I nodded my head. “Okay… but still April I wish I had known.”
“My bad! I should have told you but I thought when Jayce invited you, he explained what the party was for, but I guess not.” April said.
