The Unknown Alpha

Chapter 6

{Kaly’s POV}

    ‘Well that was steamy.’ I giggle to myself after my sexting with Maddox, but now I really need to do my homework before tonight. I open my laptop and set to work on my English paper. ‘How the hell am I supposed to know what Shakespeare was thinking when he wrote Macbeth, dude was clearly crazy.’ I laugh to myself.

    After an hour and a half of writing I look at my phone and realize it’s time to get ready. I save my work and power down my laptop and head for my bathroom to shower and shave. After I’m clean I dry off and lotion my body.

    When I walk into my closet to go through my dress options, I feel overwhelmed. I love a lot of the dresses, but I can only wear one. And this is just dinner with the pack, but I want to look good for when Maddox asks me to be his Valentine.

    I look again and a black dress catches my eye. It’s long sleeved and body fitting. It stops about midthigh and I just know Maddox is going to love this dress on me. I pick a black lace bra and matching thong. I slide the dress over my head and smooth it out over my hips.

    I look at myself in the mirror and I love the way it looks on me. I choose a pair of black 3in. heels and black crystal necklace. I place my madly necklace down in the front of the dress. I spritz with perfume and head back into the bathroom to tame my hair. After 40 minutes flattening it, I pulled it up into a sleek high ponytail. Put on my mascara and lip gloss and headed out my door.

    In the hallway I ran into Jacob and Sara. As soon as Sara’s eyes land on me she looks at Jacob, “Babe we’ll be right down.” Sara smiles, Jacob nods and walks away leaving us girls to talk. After she made sure he was gone she let out a huff. “SoImayhavesaidsomethingtoyourbrotheraboutyouandMaddoxbeingperfectforeachother.” She sped and made a fearful face. “Uh what?!” I looked at her knowing I couldn’t have heard what I thought she said. “So I may have said something to your brother about you and Maddox being perfect for each other.” She sighed and looked at me with apologetic eyes.

    “Why on earth would you do that?” I questioned truly baffled at her sudden stupidity. “Well I said Lylah and Garrett would be perfect for each other. Then being all cocky, your brother, asked who I thought would be perfect for Maddox. And of course I said you, because well… you guys are perfect for each other.” She huffed out and looked at me with a fearful grin.

    “Well what did he say?” I ask genuinely wanting to know. She smiled at me, “He didn’t say anything to me, but I could see his wheels turning, knowing I’m right.” I roll my eyes I had hoped she would say he agreed. I link my arm in hers. “Shall we?” I ask with a laugh and we head down to our night of beseeching.

    We get to the last landing and I can see Jacob and Maddox talking at the bottom of the stairs. They look up at us and I see Maddox swallow hard. ‘I knew he would like my dress.’ I smile to myself. I see him nod at something my brother said and then he looks at my brother with shock.

    Jacob laughs and says something to him and then we reach the bottom of the stairs. “Hey boys.” Sara says as she hops off the last step. “I’m not a boy and you know it.” Jacob says making me roll my eyes. “Babe not here.” Sara huffs and crosses her arms. “Sorry baby you know I just can’t get enough of you.” Jacob smiles down at her and places a soft kiss on her lips.

    Instantly I want their PDA stopped, I started making gagging sounds. When I have their attention I scoff, “Get a damn room.” rolling my eyes. “We have one, but I wanted to take my mate right here, because I can.” Jacob says sticking his tongue at me. I roll my eyes again and look up at Maddox who is standing in front of me.

    He looks around to see if anyone was around and leaned down and placed a soft kiss on my lips. I instantly look at Jacob and he looks at Maddox. “Man I didn’t say to jump her. I just said it would be ok to like her.” ‘What the f**k just happen?’ I stand there shocked, and Jacob isn’t mad. “Let’s all go to dinner before mom comes and finds us and tries to kill the two of you.” Jacob chuckles.

    I put my arm in Maddox’s and head to the back yard where the tents are set up. After we take our seats, I feel Maddox’s hand rest on mine on my thigh. I feel him give my hand a gentle squeeze. “What are you doing Maddox?” I ask with a sweet smile as not to draw attention to us. “Well as your brother said, it was ok for me to like you and I would like to tell him…” He smiles and says in a quick hushed tone. “About us?” I interrupt feeling a little worried. “Yes and no. Just that we like each other and want to date. Not all the other things.”  He sighs and looks at me with longing for me to just say yes to everything.

    Just then my dad came over and scared us both. He asked what we were talking about and Maddox was quick with the lie and I just went with it. My dad being who he is had to try and embarrass me, and I see Maddox smirking as he walked away.

    After dad heads back to the head of the table he commences the meal, and we begin dinner. Everyone talks and laughs while we have our meal and I look and see Lylah and Garrett making cute faces at each other. ‘Ah they really are perfect for each other.’ I sigh.

    The meal concludes, dad stands up and begins the Beseeching. He gives my mom a gift and she nods. Acknowledging that she will be his Valentine. ‘Like she could say no, she’s his wife.’ I giggle to myself. Jacob looks at Sara and he looks almost nervous. I look back towards my mother and father.

    Moments later I hear Sara, “Jacob is this what I think it is?” I see her holding a pretty black velvet box. “Will you be mine forever and always? In this life and the next? Marry me?” Jacob asks and I, Maddox, Garrett, and even Lylah all seem to be holding our breath. “Yes.” Sara screams as she jumps up from her seat and into Jacob’s lap.

    After she is done kissing Jacob, Lylah and I go over the check out the ring. “Wow he did good… sis-in-law.” With that we both squeal in excitement. “It’s a gorgeous ring Sara.” Lylah smiles at her. Just then we hear Garret clear his throat. “Lylah.” She turns to him with rosy cheeks. “Yes Garrett.” She smiles. “Will you care to be my Valentine?” Garrett asks seeming to hold his breath and hands her the box. Lylah looks down and opens the box. She looks like she’s going to cry. “Yes, I would love to.”  

    As Garrett hugs her, I look over and see it’s a necklace and it is so pretty and simple. A rose gold necklace with a simple round diamond. I look back to Maddox and he is looking past me and then looks at me. “Kaly?” I was so excited I almost forgot to answer. “Yes Maddox?” When he asked and handed me the box, I swear I almost fell out. He handed me a box with beautiful diamond stud earrings how could I not say yes.

    My dad walked over right after I said yes, with my mother in tow. He asked to see the gift and I handed them over. He said Maddox did good and put the box in his pocket. ‘I’m sure for safe keeping.’ I smile inwardly. I look up to see my mother giving the “glare”, as Jacob and I call it, to Maddox.

    “Rosa please stop giving this poor boy the stank eye. They are friends.” He chuckles at my mother. She smarts off making us all laugh. When they walk away, Jacob tells our group to mingle and to come back in an hour.

    After some tension on the dance floor, it was finally time to head to meet Jacob. When we were walking on our way, I kept getting this feeling that someone was watching my every move. I couldn’t shake it, but when I would around no one seemed to be look directly at me. ‘Weird I could have sworn.’

    Suddenly I hear Maddox talking about a guy on the stage and my eyes go to where they are looking and the younger of the two unknown men is staring straight into my soul. I bite my lip and look down. They guy has brown clean-cut hair that is a little messy on top with light brown eyes. He has a handsome sharp jaw line, he’s built, and has some tattoo’s peeking out of his rolled sleeves of his shirt.

    I look back up and see he is no longer staring at me. He is about as tall as Maddox, maybe a tad shorter, and has nicely tanned skin. Just then he turns my way again and smiles a breath-taking smile. I smile back and look away only to find Maddox looking at me in shock.

    “What are you doing?” He whispers to me. “Nothing. I just smiled at the guy babe calm down.” I sigh. “He smiled and as the Alpha’s daughter I can’t just be rude to another Alpha child.” I huff. “A future Alpha at that. My dad would have my head.” I pout at him.

    He takes my hand and we all head to the lake. I thought that was the end of this angry Maddox episode, but boy was I wrong. When we had gotten halfway between the lake and the party. He stopped to pick up the key he had dropped and looked around. I thought his behavior was weird.

    Suddenly he jumps up and slams me into a tree and his lips are on mine. I moan out of shock and he deepens the kiss. I snake my arms around his neck. I know why he is doing this, someone got jealous. He grabs at my ass and pulls my dress up over my hips. Grabbing again at my ass, I put my legs around his waist.

    “Feel that?” He asks as he rubs his hard c**k against my core causing me to moan. “You do this to me. Only you.” With that he slides my panties to the side and slides a finger deep inside of me. “Who does this belong to Kaly?” He asks thrusting his finger in and out of me. “Who Kaly?     We reach the lake, and the party is in full swing. Everyone had already changed out of their dinner clothes. “Where have you two been?” Sara looks up. “Sorry I dropped my house key and I had to find it. Gramma will kill me if I lose it.” Maddox laughs and everyone snickers. “Gramma will kill me.” Jacob mocks and everyone laughs again.

    We go to our tents and change. I just shimmied out of my dress and threw on the black fitted sweatpants I brought. I take off my black crystal necklace but leave my Madly necklace on of course.  I throw on my white t-shirt and big baggy purple sweatshirt. I grabbed my socks and white air force one’s. Once I had my clothes and shoes on, I hopped out my tent and joined the party. Maddox came out of his tent at the same time.

    We all started laughing and talking, and thoughts of the tent were put on hold. I winked at Maddox and he knew that was my raincheck. Drinking Were-beer from the keg that had been “supplied” and playing beer pong. This night was starting off amazing.

    Then a few people wanted to play Truth or Dare. We all agreed to play. But no s****l dares with people who had mates. Jacob clearly made that rule as not to offend Sara. We sat around the fire drinking and playing.

    “Garrett, truth or dare?” Lylah asked and we all watched and waited. “Dare.” Garrett blurted out and we all were shocked, and Lylah just smiled a huge smile. “Ok. I dare you to kiss me.” She said and all of us looked around at each other and then to Garrett and then to Lylah.

    Garrett turned his body toward her and leaned forward and slowly began to kiss her. She wrapped her arms around his neck, and he pulled her closer. Soon it was a full on make-out. He pulled back and looked at her, “Was that good?” “Y-Yes” She said panting. We all cheered bringing them back to the fact that we all witnessed it. Blush crept up on both their faces.

    “Shut up y’all.” Garrett said and we laughed harder. That’s when Lylah got up and sat down on Garrett’s lap and wrapped an arm around his neck. “No more s****l dares for us now either. He’s taken.” She smiled down at his dumbfounded face and he kissed her cheek and wrapped his arms around her.

    “Ok now Garrett it’s your turn.” I say to him. “Sara, truth or dare?” Garrett smiles. “Umm Truth.” Sara giggles. “hmm what is your most embarrassing moment?” He asks with a chuckle. Sara looks worried as she sees Jacob looking up at her. She squirms on his lap and blushes. “I hate you, Garrett.” She sneers and he laughs out, throwing his head back.

    “My most embarrassing moment was whenIwalkedinonAlphaManwellandLunaRosagoingatitintheAlpha’soffice.” She rushed the last part, and I didn’t quiet catch it. “What?” Jacob said. “UGH! I walked in on Alpha Manwell and Luna Rosa going at it in the Alpha’s office.” She says burying her face down into Jacob’s neck.

    “What?” Jacob and I shout at the same time. Jacob started blushing with embarrassment and I started gagging. “Ewww Garrett now I hate you too.” I shivered from the dirty things that came to mind. Garrett rumbles out a laugh so loud the pack house probably heard it. “Next! Sara hurry and pick someone so I can get that out of my head.”

    “Well alright, you then.” Sara smiled wickedly at me. “Dare or Dare?” Sara giggles. In our game you get one Dare or Dare per person. “You b***h. How are you gonna use that on me when there are like 20 people in this circle?” I roll my eyes at her. “DARE.”

    “Kaly, I dare you to kiss Maddox.” She smirks. “No.” Jacob and Maddox yell at the same time. Jacob, I expected, but Maddox, that stung a little. I look at him. “You know what will happen if we kiss.” He whispers really low in my ear. I understand what he means.

    “My baby sister can’t do that babe. It could lead to more.” He winks up at her as she pouts. “Baby it’s just a kiss.” She pouts more and wiggles slowly in his lap, I hear a low growl from my brother. “Ok just a kiss.” He says never looking away from Sara’s eyes.

    “Get it over with already.” Lylah winks at us and we laugh. “Ok here goes nothing.” I turn toward Maddox and I lean forward and press my lips to his. Before I realized I was in his lap, straddling him. His hands were on my waist and my tongue was down his throat. I felt someone tug my shirt back and it was Garrett.

    “Sara took your brother to the tent before he could see all this. You two better get off of each other before someone tells Luna Rosa.” He glares at both of us. “I was personally enjoying the show. It was HOT.” Lylah winked at us. “Hot huh. I’ll show you hot.” Garrett grabbed Lylah under her butt and slung her over his shoulder, he stalked off toward his tent with Lylah giggling the whole way.

    “Your turn Kaly.” Maddox reminded me. “We need to keep playing so we have witnesses that we didn’t sneak off.” He whispers and I nod. “Tara, Truth or Dare?” I say keeping the game going. She picks truth of course because she is a good kid.

    We play on for probably another hour. Someone dares Tanner to strip butt naked and jump in the lake. He did it and I got to see parts of Tanner I never wanted to. But I’ll give his this, ‘He’s not little.’ I giggle to myself.

    Maddox said he was done and got up and everyone saw him go to his tent. As we continued playing no one saw Maddox sneak into my tent. Thanks to a foul dare from Trinity, everyone was focused on poor Rebecca. She was dared to go and open another couple’s tent. Exposing what they were doing. ‘I can’t unsee that.’ I tell myself.

    After that, I tell everyone I’m off to bed and slip into my tent. I didn’t get the zipper all the way down before my hand was grabbed and placed on a very naked, and very hard c**k. I get wet almost instantly and a shiver ran down my spine. “You ready for me?” Maddox growled in my ear.
