Chapter Seven

1962 Words

Chapter Seven Gray was bored with the rec room. This morning he had even debated whether to just stay in his room, watching bad daytime television all day. The thought of going into the rec room and seeing everyone trying to get better and failing depressed him. Gray missed Kristie. The more he was in this stupid hospital, the more he regretted banning all visitors. But there had been no way of banning just Kristie and not seeming suspicious. He had to stick to his guns and not see her until he was ready. The nurse came by to check his vitals, and Gray grumbled about it, sighing. “You aren’t usually in such a bad mood,” the nurse said lightly. “What’s wrong?” “Just feeling cooped up. When can I get out of here?” “As soon as the doctor says you are all set.” “Tell him to hurry up.”
