NINE

MEREDITH'S POV

Pagpasok ng mga sasakyan sa malaking gate ng Thronos, agad na nagtinginan ang mga trainee. Yes we trained, combat fighting, firing, bombing, diffusing, ang many more to mention. 

We will develop all their senses for survival purposes. Each one of them had a different story and purpose of why they wanted to enter this world. As long as we can see the determination and potential of an individual, we will eventually accept him or her into our organization.

 Kay Dale ako sumakay, I don't have a car yet. Habang yung mga unggoy, ayun, isa-isa ng sasakyan. Eh bahala sila diyan, hindi naman ako ang gagastos ng mga gas nila and besides may pera sila. 

Isa-isa na silang bumaba ng sasakyan, at ganun na din si Dale. All eyes are on the five men standing in front of Dale's car. Kahit hindi ako bumibisita dito sa Pinas, I can still manage the mafia with the help of them, with the help of my friends. It was my first time visiting Thronos, and this is the first time that they will meet their 'Queen'.

Binuksan na ni Dale ang shotgun seat ng sasakyan, at lumabas na ako. Tumayo ako kasama ang lima at tiningnan ang mga tauhan na nakakalat dito sa Thronos. Their attention is on me, but there's a questioning look attached to their faces. Agad na naglakad ang lima kaya sumunod na ako, pero agad din silang huminto. Kaya biglang nagsalita si Van

"This lady beside us...

lumingon siya sa'kin, at bahagyang ngumiti, pero agad naman din siyang tumingin ulit sa mga tauhan at sinabing

... is our Queen"

Mukhang nagulat ang lahat sa kanilang nalaman. Maybe because after how many years, they already knew who's their Queen at ngayon lang din nila nakita. Agad silang yumuko as a sign of respect habang inilagay ang kanilang kanang kamao sa kanilang dibdib. 

Nagpatuloy na kami sa paglakad papasok sa isang mansion dito sa Thronos. May nadaanan kaming mga tauhan na may mga bitbit na baril and they tour me around. There are numerous rooms, maliligaw ka sa dami and the interior design is simple yet elegant. Naglakad kami papunta sa isang two doored room, na nasa dulo ng hallway. 

Pagbukas ni Van sa pinto, sumalubong sa'kin ang sandamak-mak na baril. 

Weapon Room...

Ito ang pinakamalaking kwarto na nakita ko dito sa Thronos. Pagpasok ko agad akong pumunta sa isang shelf na puno ng rifles. Manghang-mangha ako sa nakikita ko dito sa loob, everything is on it's place. It was all organized

Agad kong kinuha ang isang 'Steyr Aug 42'  na rifle, I aimed in on the window trying to figure out if this thing will suit my grip. Lahat ng klase ng baril ay makikita mo dito sa malaking kwartong to. Bombs, snipers, rifles, pistols, assault knives, kunai, and many more. From the smallest weapon to the biggest such as bazookas, nandito lahat. Name it, this room had it. One of my favorite rooms.

"Beautiful," I murmured while looking at the rifle. I want to try this in the right time. I can't wait! This makes me feel excited.

"Catch this Queen, this is better," tumingin ako kay Van ng binato niya sa'kin ang isang pistol, I immediately catch it because of my reflexes. It's not just an ordinary pistol but a gold pistol. Yeah, more beautiful. "Seriously? A gold pistol?" I asked in disbelief. 

"Yeah, that's for you, it's my gift. Welcome to the Thronos, Queen," he said with a smile. A gift huh? "Salamat," I replied and smiled at him. I still roamed my eyes around this big weapon room. Ang dami talaga, parang gusto kong subukan ang lahat ng mga armas dito.

"We still have one room to visit Queen," Tristan said, with a smile. May isa pa? So it means, mas malaki pa sa kwartong to. What room could it be? Somewhat a basement? 

"Come on, let's get going cause we really make it perfect for you," Adam said, habang naglakad na palabas. Okay? Now, I'm really curious about that room. 

Lumabas na kaming lahat sa kwartong yun, at pumasok sa isang elevator na nasa tapat lang. Wait, there's an elevator? Bakit hindi nila sinabi? Kanina lang kami palakad-lakad sa mataas na hagdan ng mansion na'to? Tas may elevator lang pala? Suckers!

"There's an elevator," I stated that makes the 5 men look in my direction.

"Ah.. Yeah?" si Tristan 'yan.

"Queen hindi ba obvious? Yan oh! Elevator.... E...le....va...tor. ELEVATOR!" - Lance

Sabi niya habang pangiti-ngiti. Pinapainit niya talaga ulo ko. I gave him a glare, kaya ayun sumeryoso ang mukha ng unggoy. It's not what I meant, alam ko kung ano ang elevator, bwisit siya?!

"Queen, wala kasing hagdan papunta sa kwartong pupuntahan natin. We need to use this elevator," Dale explained. Okay, madali naman akong kausap eh. Kaya nang bumukas na ang elevator, pumasok na kami sa loob. It's spacious, sakto lang para sa aming anim. May pinindot si Dale na isang letter 'Q' na button sa elevator. Walang nagsasalita sa amin, hanggang sa bumukas na ito. Kaya lumabas na kaming lahat, kesa naman dun lang kami tumambay.

Paglabas namin, agad kong nakita ang isang white with gold two-doored room. Pumwesto si Dale at Van sa kada pinto, at tumingin sa'kin na may ngiti. Really? Kailangan pa talaga nilang ngumiti? What's really behind that door?

"We've been waiting for you to get inside in this room Queen." - Van

"We really make this room perfect for you." - Dale

Oh, come on! Ano pa ba ang hinihintay nila? Pasko? Bakit kailangan pa ng speech? Maliit lang talaga ang pasensya ko sa ganitong klaseng bagay, Ayoko ng masyado akong pinaghhintay ng matagal.

"Please, just open that damn door," pagkatapos kong sabihin yun, tumawa sila ng mahina. Shet lang, sasabog na talaga ako. Magagamit ko talaga tong gold pistol na'to sa kanila.

"Hindi ka naman excited Queen diba?" I just rolled my eyes annoyingly to Van. "Okay here we go," as Dale uttered those words, they opened the door and suddenly a  fresh aroma welcomed me. I was totally amused when I already saw what's behind these white and gold doors. 

Kung ano ang ikinaganda ng pinto, mas maganda pa ang nasa loob. It was also a white and gold theme. It was very spacious, mas malaki pa siya sa weapon room. It has paintings hanging on the wall. There was also a big window with a white curtain, behind a long glass office desk and a white swivel chair. It has a big white sofa on the other side of the room with a white and glass coffee table and a fur carpet underneath.

There was a big gold chandelier attached to the ceiling that would definitely give light to this entire room at night. There are big gold vases on each corner of the room, with blue roses. Everything inside of this room was totally beautiful. 

"Do you like it?" Dale asked. They already removed their mask. Okay lang wala namang ibang tao dito sa loob, and the door was closed. So I removed my mask as well, I didn't wear any contact lenses this time. Kaya kitang-kita nila ang berde kong mata.

"No, I don't like it," as I said those words. Kitang-kita sa mga mukha nila ang pagkadismaya. I want to laugh at their faces right now. 

Obviously, I didn't mean those words. Hindi naman ako ganon kasama pagdating sa kanila. I am totally aware of my words that could possibly hurt them, and as much as possible, I will try my best not to intentionally stab them by the words that came from my mouth.

"You really don't like it?" tanong ulit ni Dale na may lungkot na sa boses niya. Nang makita kong napayuko na ang ilan sa kanila, napailing ako sa aking pwesto atsaka naglakad papalayo sa kanila at lumapit sa desk ko

As I take a seat on my swivel chair, I traced my fingers along the edge of this long white desk and look at them.

"No, cause I love it," I said and smile. Nakita ko sila na ang laki na ng ngiti. Seriously? How can I not like this? This is too much, everything was perfect. They really knew how much I love the color white. I stood up and walk towards them, I extended my arms, para mayakap sila.

"GROUP HUG!!!!" - Lance

Nagyakapan kaming anim, at isa-isa nilang ginulo ang buhok ko. Here we go again, dating gawi. I chuckled, habang inaayos ang nagulo kong buhok. Lintek na unggoy talaga, pasalamat sila masaya ako ngayon. 

"Queen, labas muna kami. We need to check the other trainees" Adam said, at sinuot na nila ang maskara. Tinanguan ko sila na lumabas na ng kwarto. I walk towards my swivel chair again, and take a seat. I take a look around and smile, silently adoring this huge room where I am in.

This is it Meredith, you are officially in the mafia world. More complications to face, more deaths to encounter, and more transactions to deal with. I never expected my life would turn out like this, but then after that tragic incident that I experienced, I leave no choice but to enter this world.

Naikuyom ko ang aking kamao ng maalala ko na naman ang pangyayaring iyon na naging sanhi upan maging ganito ako ngayon. They took my normal life the day they killed my parents in front of me. That incident was already carved in my mind and leaves a scar in my soul. 

I will show no mercy to anyone who gets in my way. Anyone. I will continue what I started and end it in no time cause the Queen is back.

The Queen already took a seat on her throne...

And that Queen is me...
