Kiara came in, my senses now attuned to her presence. She ate very little and very quickly before disappearing again. I had seen how hard she pushed herself today, harder than I would expect any warrior too. She did not look at our table once before her vanishing act, making my whine for her attention. I looked to the side of me to see my father and Zad reacting the same way. Wanting and needing her attention and yet getting nothing in return. She said she wanted space and it seemed she was determined to get it. I lost my appetite after seeing Kiara disappear and went to head to bed myself, maybe have a lovey lady accompany me.
