I stood at my window in my office watching as every now and then Kiara would run past. I could see my sons on the grass, shortly followed by the other girls and the Gabriel. I was glad I never invited her to my bed after seeing her try to seduce Stephan and pissing him off in the process, and Kiara by the way she put on a new spurt of energy.
I sat at my desk, knowing I had other things to be doing that staring longingly out the window like a young pup. I started working through my paper work but my eyes kept glancing back to the window, wondering if she was back in view. I hated having to share her last night, but I could sense her distress as she lay in my arms and when she asked for us not to be alone, I could not deny her. She made me soft, more than how my first mate did
