Chapter Nine

Elena The GPS on the truck alerted me that my destination was on the right. The neighborhood was far away from the beach and nightlife. The past few blocks were an endless sea of mini mansions tucked safely behind gates. Pulling into the driveway I saw that this one wasn’t any different. I rolled down my window and pushed the button on the call box. “Code,” the voice boomed through the speaker.  Picking up Lachian’s phone I pull up the text containing the instructions. The man should really think about putting a security password on this thing.  “Alpha, Tango, Foxtrot, seventy-four.”  The gate opens and I follow the path down to the front of the house. There are four pillars that decorate the front of the porch. Next to each one stands an armed guard. I park the truck and make my way
