Kalli With Kane gone the time seemed to pass even slower than before. Ryker was handling most of the duties while Celeste and I worked with Thomas adjusting both the training and patrol schedules. We needed to accommodate accordingly for the warriors Berke and Kane took with them to Mississippi.  I am sitting at the kitchen island devouring the plate of food in front of me. My phone sits just off to the side and I fight the urge to call Lachian, again. It’s almost time for his meeting with Cyrus and I wish he would pick up or send a quick text to let me know he’s on his way.  My stomach is in constant knots and my fingernails are practically chewed down to the knuckle. My back aches with the reminder that it has been days since I last shifted. My wings are itching to be set free and all
