Nicole

its now thanksgiving day and I'm nervous and excited. Nathan and I had gotten into a good routine somewhat this week, I've been trying hard not to be in his way I know he's used to his space. but that's sort of what I'm good at since I lived with Avery and her many boy friends.

I've started making him coffee on the couple days he worked early mornings with a simple breakfast since his alarm woke me up anyways.

and in the evening either he'd get home and surprise me by starting food or I'd get there first and start and if he came home at a good time we'd cook together and talk about our day.

he did work two night shifts with long hours and it was crazy to watch him function that way, I don't think I could ever pull that off.

he and Luca are both on call tonight so they have to stay sober and try to get a little rest after we all eat together.

Lucas parents will be there with his brother and his wife and two kids. Katelynns dad and his girlfriend are coming and Luna and Dane flew in also so I get to meet them so I'm pretty intermediated by that factor.

Lee and Gabe guys from their military days will be there, I've briefly met Lee but haven't ever met Gabe. I just feel like I'm walking into an already out together family and I'm so nervous that if they don't like me Nathan will think differently of me.

I've been up since early this morning. I made the naked macaroni and some cookies.

I just need to get myself dressed after I clean the kitchen back up.

we haven't heard anything from Samuel and I know that he isn't done messing with me but I think it maybe time for me to go back to my place I don't want to over stay my welcome.

" little one how long have you been up?"

I turn to see a shirtless Nathan in just his boxers rubbing his eyes trying to wake up after his long shift yesterday.

I shrug

" couldn't sleep so I got a head start"

he makes his way to me slowly looking me over I'm still in one of his tees I've stolen to sleep in and panties.

" everyone is going to love you. no need to be nervous"

he whispers as he cages me into the counter I rest my hands on his chest

" so you say, this is my first family Thanksgiving"

I sigh out embarrassed I didn't have normal.

he tilts my chin and kisses my lips

" Trust me it's like s big party and food nothing formal or crazy. we all just hang out and eat way to much food while watching whatever game is on. it was pretty new to me when Lucas parents had me the first time."

I nod and breath deep. I can do this.

" anything in the oven?"

I shake my head and he smirks at me

" good"

before I can reply he has my tee off and he's down on his knees I'm front of me.

he kisses along my thighs then licks my panties line making me gasp as he slowly pulls them down.

" time to relax"

he breathes our before diving in. he throws one of my legs over his shoulder and eats me Making my head spin.

" Nathan"

I moan out pulling at his hair that's grown out some. and let me tell you he's been letting his stubble on his face grown and it feels amazing against my skin

he moans against me as I pull his hair

his tongue finds my clit and his fingers dive in making my knees buckle

and with a scream from me and a grunt out of him we find our highs together.

he sighs out and I want to laugh because I literally just came twice but I don't I just rub my hands up his back

he just sighs against my chest.

" let's go get cleaned up and ready baby"

I know something is bothering him but I'll press more into that later.

we got cleaned up in a shower together, I washed his body I guess my way of thanking him for getting me out of my own head. and of course he washed me in return.

then we got ready.

I'm wearing jeans, wedged booties and a long sleeve black and cheetah print sweater with a dip in the front and lace along the back.

I straightened my hair and gave it a little volume and a halo braid. just putting in some small studs I have I was looking myself over in the mirror spraying on perfume when he walked in. he looked me over and I did the same to him.

he had his jeans on and his dark grey button up but the buttons were still undone so I could see his chest. he had his black studs back in his ears and today he wore a chain around his neck.

he winked at me when he caught me eyeing him

" like what ya see?"

he asked cocky. and I could help but lick my lips

nodding he chuckles kissing the side of my head

" you look amazing yourself"

he sniffs

" and damn you always smell so good"

I give him a smile blushing from the compliment.

he walks out to finish getting dressed and I finish up my putting on my lipstick.

I got him to take a selfie with me before we left and I have to say we clean up nice.

on the way over he held my hand and kissed the back of it as we pulled up

" don't be nervous"

I let out a nervous chuckle

as soon as we walked through the door I could hear the chatter of people. so much for being early.

" Nathan Freeman and with a woman whose fave doesn't make me want to punch her"

I girl I'm assuming Luna stands up and hugs him first then she looks at me

" I'm Luna! and you must be Nichole" Katelynn has told me so much about you trust we will get along fine"

and with that she pulls me in for a hug

" it's so nice to finally meet you"

I say and she laughs

" no it's nice to see this i***t with some besides Julie"

she says her name like she wants to gag and I fight back a laugh. I think I may like her.

I'm then introduced to Dane and Lee and Gabe.

Lee is just as polite as the last time and Gabe seems a bit more laid back of the group as they all start telling stories and laughing with each other

" Nate isn't the only one that's caught them. first time I met Katelynn he was chasing her around this very house half naked"

lee says and Katelynn blushes hiding her face in Lucas chest as everyone laughs

" well don't over stay your welcome today or you might see more of it"

Luca jokes back.

soon Katelynn me and Luna are in the kitchen getting things finished up and chatting.

Luna told a few stories of her travels and you can tell they have definitely missed each other.

" so how are things staying with Nate?"

Katelynn asks and Luna wiggles her brows at me Making me blush and giggles

I sigh

" we're good. trying to stay out of his way. I'll probably go back to my place soon so he can have his back. my things have kind of taken over some spots.

the girls laugh then look at me

" yeah if he lets you leave. I saw the way he was looking at you. you've got that boy wrapped"

Luna says and Katelynn nods agreeing.

man I've been enjoying coming home or waking up to my woman in my house. she has random things around and it just makes it feel more real. she's mine, her make and bathroom things have definitely taken over that area but I don't mind.

but mornings like this morning when I get to have my way with her just make things perfect.

puts some pep in my step and knowing at the end of s long shift I'd get to see her beautiful face. or crawl into bed and hold her in my arms made it something to look forward to, even if I'd have to move the cat in order for me to be able to crawl in.

it's been great catching up with the guys were made plans to go out this weekend while their all still in town and we can have a drink since Luca and I can't tonight.

I was standing on the porch just thinking about life when Luca came up behind me he patted my shoulder and hands me a cup of tea and a stolen piece of turkey.

his parents must be here.

" what are you thinking so hard about on a holiday man?"

I shake my head and he turns resting his back on the porch crossing his arms looking at me waiting for me to spill.

I sigh shaking my head

" have you ever gotten done fast? like there isn't any stopping it?"

he raises a brow at me

" like how often?"

I shrug

" I mean not every time it's just some times things are just there already I guess f**k I don't know man"

he chuckles shaking his head and I glare at him

" does she finish?"

" well yeah it seems like it"

he pats my face

" then you are fine. trust me when I feel it I tell her before hand and in those moments it's what we both needed just means it's good and hell you needed it"

I rub my face thinking it over

" did she say something about it?"

I shake my head no

" I'm just worried she isn't going to keep getting what she needs from me. I mean for me sure I'm literally having the best s*x of my life but how can I be sure about her side of things"

" talk to her dumbass. it's what you do in a relationship. I mean y'all are basically living together"

this makes me smile

and he laughs

" and you are enjoying it"

I chuckle

" every damn minute of it. I wanna ask her to move in for real but I just told her I loved her and this other s**t going on I don't want her to freak"

he nods

" talk to her buddy, y'all love each other just be open"

" where are my boys?"

I hear ma Sue and he and both chuckle

and make our way back to everyone else. I've gotta figure out how to talk with her I know I can I just worry I'll hear things I don't want to hear I guess.

we hugged ma sues neck and shook dad's hand

" might wanna go check on your girl Nate"

ma Sue said and I would be concerned if it wasn't for the big smile she has on her face

" what'd you do?"

she hits my chest " I didn't do a thing boy. now go".

I looked at the guys and of course they didn't have an answer.

so I head towards the kitchen. but I stop in my tracks when I see her smiling as she holds Landon and Maddy's new born on her arms. little lilly may was born about a month ago, I hadn't made the trip to meet her yet as they were spending quality time as a family letting lane get used to the idea.

I lean against the door frame as the girls chat about and Landon sees me watching them, he smirks at me and I can't do anything but smile shaking my head.

she looks like a natural as she holding her just talking softly.

when she finally looks up she's got the biggest smile on her face as her eyes meet mine.

" Nathan you didn't tell me that had a little one"

I smile at her walking over and letting my finger run over her soft baby head

" must have slipped my mind"

she just smiles at me

" alright my turn"

I take Lilly from her and she watches me as Katelynn nudges her shoulder Making her blush.

she's so tiny in my arms and I can't help but think about the idea of us having one of our own. would she want that with me? would i be s good dad. mean I'm fun uncle but that doesn't mean anything

" looks like it won't be long nater"

Katelynn says giggling and I just glare at her I don't need her scaring Nicole.

" well this one here hates sleep. I'm positive I'm running off like 2 hours in 3 days"

Maddy says laughing and Landon wraps her in a hug from behind

" what'd y'all do with lane?"

" oh you know him and had are off to find Luca they want to get out in the yard"

I chuckle those two are a tiny team when it comes to Luca he always caves no matter what it is.

the girls start putting things out and getting the table ready so Lilly and I just hang out I feel Nicole looking at me every now and then.

at dinner Katelynn and Lucas announced they were pregnant, the smile on both their faces was priceless and you could see the pride they both had. we hugged them both letting them know we were here for anything they need. ma Sue was over joyed, grandbabies are her absolutely favorite and I know they are happy Luca will get to be here for everything this go around.

dinner was amazing and honestly I don't think Nicole meeting everyone could've went better of course everyone loved her and I feel like by the time we made it home we were both exhausted her more than me since she got up so early.

we were cuddled up in bed and I was just hoping I didn't get called in tonight, this is where I wanna be.

" I enjoyed today"

she says her head on my chest as I run my fingers through her hair. the TV playing in the background

" told you it'd go good. they all love you."

she smiles up at me

" think Katelynn me and Luna are gonna have a girls night this weekend"

I chuckle

" me and the guys are probably going out also"

she kisses me chest as she snuggles back in

" think I'm going to try to stay at my place soon"

she says and my body tenses, i know she's independent and I love that about her but I don't want her to leave but I don't want to put pressure on her.

I clear my throat.

" whatever you feel is right"

is all I can think to say at the moment. of course right then my work phone starts ringing, guess even if I wanted to we aren't having this conversation or the other one tonight.

she sighs lightly and I know she is upset. I pull her face towards me

"I'm sorry love"

she gives me a sad smile

" I know you can't help it please be safe"

I kiss her lips gently

after that I get up and pull on my work clothes kissing her one more time before I head out.

she wants to go home, and she's upset I'm going into work even if she tried not to show it.

how do I do this? how do I keep her happy if after a week of living with me and my busy schedule she's ready to go back to her place even if that ass hole hasn't been caught.

I run my hands down my face as I'm getting into my patrol car I've basically been on autopilot since leaving my place and I need to get my head on straight before pulling out.

maybe a night out with the guys is what I need.
