CHAPTER III

1270 Words
I was trying to sleep, but I just couldn't. I didn't know why, but I'd been trying to sleep for hours, and I couldn't. I have never suffered from insomnia, otherwise, whenever I touch my bed I fall completely asleep. Finally, I chose to get up to the bathroom and wash my face. Something wasn't right, I could feel it inside, it was that sixth sense that told me something wasn't right, the atmosphere around me was heavier than normal. I opened the faucet and started dipping my face with cold water while I felt how all the muscles in my face were relaxing with the touch of water. It was such a relaxing moment, until the sound of the door whipping made me startle. I looked up at the bathroom door and now it was closed.I had left it open. I tried to open it immediately, but the only thing I could do was to hear someone locking the door outside, leaving me there.  "Oh no...", I said trying to open the door inside. "Is that you, Mom? Dad?" I spoke out loud so they could listen to me. When I didn't get an answer I started banging the door lightly. It was about an hour before mom could hear me and open the bathroom door to let me out. I thought it might have been her, but it wasn't, and apparently Dad wasn't coming home from work yet. So, who could it have been? It's just the three of us in this little house. With a lot of doubts, I went back to my bed willing to sleep, no matter what, I just needed to sleep. A light blue eyes as the sky watched me closely. They were the most beautiful eyes I had ever seen in my entire life, with such a bewitching glow and such a hypnotic color. I couldn't even react while I saw those beautiful eyes. "Who are you?" I asked. "Come with me and you'll find out, " answered such a seductive male voice. Just hearing that voice bristled my skin. It was strange, since everything was totally dark and I couldn't see anything else from the boy than his eyes. If he was as cute as his eyes were, I definitely needed to know him. "Let me see your face", I encouraged myself to ask, but he denied. "Only if you come with me ", he answered. "I'll go with you if you show me your face", I was lying. Even though this dude was perfect, I'm not stupid enough to let myself go. And then the boy came up to me, allowing the light to illuminate his face. What my eyes saw was pure art. He was too perfect to be real. The boy was pale, with quite defined features, a marked jaw and a thin nose. Not exaggerating, this boy seemed to be sculpted by the gods themselves. I had never seen that symmetry on someone's face. His hair was golden and long, almost up to h"I'll go with you if you show me your face," which was fake. As perfect as the boy was, I'm not stupid enough to let myself go. And then the boy came up to me, allowing the light to illuminate his face. My eyes saw a work of art, too perfect to be real. The boy was pale, with quite defined features, a marked jaw and a thin nose. Without exaggerating, this boy seemed sculpted by the gods themselves. I've never seen so much symmetry on someone's face. Her hair was golden and long, almost up to his shoulders and it fell into perfect waves. In conclusion, he was the graphic description of the word perfection. "Will you come with me?" he asked as he reached out to me. "Why do you want me to go with you? Where do you want me to go?" He confidently pronounced "Mitoja" . And then I woke up from my sleep. I opened my eyes and I was lying on my bed, there was no handsome boy in my room asking me to go with him either. Disappointed, I took my cell phone and looked at the time. It was too late to go to school. Too late. I got up as fast as I could and took a shower, picked my clothes, tried to fix my hair and ran to take the bus to go to school. Two hours later, I arrived to my classroom and the teacher wouldn't let me in. "Please, it will be the last time, I promise! " I pleaded with the teacher from the classroom door. "I warned you that if you were late again, you wouldn't enter my class," he replied. "I had a time-back...", I wanted to finish but it interrupted me. "I don't want any more excuses, please go". I get out of there certamen and not knowing what to do, it was a really important class and I couldn't lose it again because of my irresponsibility. Agh, it was all that perfect boy's fault of my dream. Recalling my dream, I couldn't help but think of what he had mentioned: "Mitoja", that weird  name again. It was the same name I read in that book, which said that place was my home. Again I wondered: "What the hell is Mitoja?", and especially "where was that place?" Maybe my dream wasn't just a dream, but that weird guy was definitely trying to communicate with me. If that was the case, I needed to see him again and agree to go with him to Mitoja, so I would get rid of all of mi doubts. A totally unknown voice took me out of my thoughts. "Hi, I don't want to look like a meddler, but I hear you mentioned Mitoja?", a red-headed boy questioned me. I was surprised by his question since it seemed that no one had never heard that word. "You know what it is?" I said a little desperate as I approached him and he let out a slight laugh at my weird attitude.  "Calm down, I only know a few things about it, but I was very surprised to hear you mention it. I thought no one else knew of it's existence." "Tell me everything you know about Mitoja," I asked him and he politely agreed, even though there was some doubt in his eyes. "Let's go to the cafeteria, it'll be weird to talk about it here." We headed to the cafeteria together and an awkward silence accompanied us. I didn't know him, and i wouldn't normally have agreed to go to the cafeteria with a stranger, but there was something about him that inspired me a lot of confidence. The green color of his eyes gave me immediate peace, and that was really strange. I didn't even know his name. "I'm Nathan," he said, as if he had just heard my thoughts, "nice to meet you," he said smiling. "My name is Adara", I replied in the same way. Finally we arrived at the school cafeteria and sat face to face. Nathan was handsome, being close to him I could watch a few freckles that adorned his rosy cheeks, but I shouldn't be distracted. I had to focus on what was important: knowing what Mitoja was, where it was and how it was related to me. Honestly, I was dying to know also if the guy in my dream was real, or was just a fig of my imagination.  If that guy was real, I definetely would do anything to see him again.
