Yuri was guided to Tasha’s room where she lay peacefully. He smiled feeling relieved that she was safe but surprised that she had grown, again.
Soon she’ll be of my age. Will she still be respectful to me and listen to me as always?
His thoughts worried him a bit but shrugged it off. He can trust her, she was way better than that.
Suddenly, the door was bumped by someone making a sharp noise and the temperature dropped noticeably.
Yuri rolled his eyes clearly not worried about it and sat beside Tasha, brushing her hair. Her eyes fluttered open and literary sprung on him.
“Yuri” She shrieked in excitement and he chuckled.
They embraced, swaying each other and begrudgingly pulled away. She was overwhelmed with joy to see him and he was delighted to see her excitement. Yuri felt precious, worthy, like he was valued and it swelled his chest with pride.
While on the other hand, Vincent hated it. Seeing his baby girl expectantly watching someone wasn't a cup of tea. She hardly saw someone face to face but isn’t sure about this Tasha.
“When did you come?” she asked sitting on her ankles.
“Just now. Tell me, how do you manage to live with a house full of idiots?” He asked wryly and she bit her inner cheek to suppress her laughter.
“Mind your f*****g language blonde.” Vincent growled scaring Emma off.
She has just arrived with some water and smoothie along with food. He had unusually large appetite thus she could give him something for starters before she can make something for him.
“Stop playing with the fire!” Vincent gritted through his, reaching Yuri in a blink of an eye.
Yuri stood straight and glared into Vincent’s eyes. For a fraction of second, he felt an indescribable pain within his body and winced. Soon, it was changed to pin-like pricking all over his skin and he bit his lips not wanting to scream in pain. It was torturous; growing insane, Yuri clutched on his clothes tightly till his nails ripped holes in them.
“Yuri...” he heard Tasha’s voice that sounded distant.
His focus on ceasing the pain inside his body that seemed to have no origin. He felt a hand which irritated him even more. His body was going under thermal shocks—cold to hot and cold again and this hand of someone just burdened him.
He knelt down on the surface and putting so much of the pressure on his grip that the bones may give up; turning into calcium powder.
He felt the presence of someone beside him, most probably in failed attempts to calm him but it bothered to such an extent where he ripped his shirt apart and screamed in annoyance.
The hand that comforted him was none other than Tasha’s who was thrown away at a distance with his sudden outburst.
His vision blurred, he couldn’t see what was happening and suddenly the incident that happened when he was just an year old came flooding his brain. His heart raced frantically.
Meanwhile, Vincent growled at him as he swooshed to Tasha; checking on her. His eyes turned black than before; if it was even possible and he snapped his head at Yuri who was staggering in awkward way. Fangs retracted out and he was ready to attack him when he felt a light tug at his arm.
Tasha was pleading with her eyes and it made him hesitate a bit. He was about to give in when the smell of her blood hit his nostrils.
“Grrrhhh” he growled and leaped back on Yuri.
Yuri was in a daze. He stumbled on his feet and felt extreme pain as if his flesh was cut. His blurred vision started clearing and felt lighter. Suddenly, his pain ceased and his senses became heightened. He straightened opening his eyes just in time to catch a swooshing sound. He even sniffed something awful yet so… tempting. Snapping his head in a swift moment, he saw Vincent about to land on him.
Vincent’s eyes widened the moment Yuri turned his side. His speed lowered but not enough to stop the inevitable collision. Yuri was quick and turned his head away, eyes closed with hands held in front as a shield. Instantly, a sonic wave escaped his palms and hit Vincent who doubled up like a cartwheel and landed softly on his heels.
He still was baffled and darted his head from Yuri and back to Tasha. She was as shocked as he was and then he again faced Yuri who was staring at his hands as if they were that of an alien.
“Tasha?” Vincent questioned but found only the one behind his back staring at him.
“Yuri?” Tasha called and touched her face while scrutinizing him.
Yuri’s head snapped up scared to the wits as he opened and closed his mouth shut. He felt a shock of heat followed by a series of colored images entering his brain at a speed that made him dizzy. His head felt full and stomach felt nauseous. As he squatted on the marble floor, massaging his temple his brain and mind was etched with the incoming images—the memories. These weren’t his… but belonged to Tasha.
He could see the day she was born, the alignment in the sky, the prophecy, the fear of her parents, their determination to keep her hidden under the heap of straw, the screams of people crying around her, blood sucking sounds and the stinking smell of burning phosphorus, the approaching of a man, Vincent’s hesitation, his fear, the sinking of his fangs in her skin, the excruciating pain, the head pounding and the new flutter of life, her playfulness, anger, execution, normal human life, sneaking of Vincent every night, her blood drying inside, all those times when she survived because of Vincent, her marriage, the mess, the torture she went through, her escape, her mind state, her new life with new name, meeting Damien, her feelings for him and his betrayal, the day she died and her feelings—everything were intricate and he could feel them as if he has lived through it all.
He was unable to take all these emotions in a go and passed out.

Vincent couldn’t believe his eyes. Few minutes back, it was Yuri and when he was about to attack him for hurting his baby girl; he found Tasha standing there. It was like thunder hit him!
He was in a daze until he felt the supersonic waves hitting him which gave him time to stabilize. He sure was under some spell because there were two Tasha. His eyes scrutinized them from head to toe from his vampiric eyesight which magnified everything to be able to see even the microscopic things but found no difference. They were same! Alike! Heck! Made of the same gene and DNA if that can give you a clear idea about what we have here. Only difference was… the Tasha in front was shocked, stunned and scared whereas the Tasha behind him was flabbergasted.
She couldn’t believe her eyes but her heart was beating with the same slow and faint pace. To confirm his doubt, he called out their names and sure enough; his baby girl was standing behind him.
But how did it happen? He… is he a… vampire or wizard?
I wasn’t sure unless, he groaned writhing in pain and passed out. Tasha was quick to be his side or let’s just say beside her clone and was caressing her hair. I couldn’t grasp the fact that they smelled the same, only concluding one thing that it’s not a characteristic of a vampire. They can take on other’s appearance but couldn’t mask their own smell and same goes for witches. They can to some extent, mask their smell but that leaves them being odorless.
She lifted him up and I shouldn’t be shocked yet I was. There was no stress on her face, as she put her clone on the bed. She turned to me whereas I was still gawking at her.
“He’s stressed out. Would be fine soon.” She said and I bit my lip to snap at her.
I was being jealous and couldn’t help. She was way too much concerned for him which I didn’t like it a bit.
“Daddy…?” She called out and I felt the tug in my heart that calmed my entire self.
“Yes?” I asked gleefully.
“I was asking if you knew what it meant with… this?” she was pointing out at Yuri who now slept peacefully.
I felt the sudden anger seeping and before it could turn me blind, I floated to her in an instance and wrapped my arms around her petite slim waist. The tingling sensations crawled up my skin; igniting fire within every cell it touched. She gasped but closed her mouth feeling embarrassed. Even though she was wheatish in color yet the blush that tainted her skin was so prominent. I smirked seeing she has the same effect on me and me too on her.
Pulling her a little closer to my chest, I felt the warmth seeping through her body to mine.
-Ahhh! How badly I missed it… this...-
She put her palms flat against my chest as she pushed me away to maintain distance between her. I knew she wasn’t putting much effort because she was way stronger than me now. If she wanted, she could’ve atleast made me stumble and let her go.
This thought was enough to make me giddy with joy and couldn’t help but wrap my arms around her waist tighter.
Slowly leaning down to her face, I saw her take deep breaths. I loved studying her because getting into her head was impossible… back then and now. As I leaned closer enough to let our lips slide against each other; she gasped and stopped breathing.
I titled my head closing the distance but aiming for that alluring little earlobe. I felt her shudder every time I inched closer. Intentionally, I brushed my lips on her neck and her palms fisted my shirt.
Whispering dangerously in her ear, “I don’t know what happened just now… but what I know is… You. Belong. To. Daddy.”
With that, I bit her earlobe gently as she whimpered feeling hotter than normal. I loved it! I loved the way she responded and even if you think this is being sick; I don’t care.
You can’t blame me or her… we are vampires—the sexy, aroused beasts who cannot control over s****l urges. Above all, it is the sire-childe relation which binds us even more. Also, despite of the strong pull that we feel towards each other which is hard to explain or understand by mortals; it is a wonder that she can still resist me.
But I hope not anymore…
