"Yao Xue!" Yao Xue just stepped out of his room early in the morning when he heard Yong Jie screamed his lungs out. It was unusual how Yong Jie left the bed that early and sounding with enthusiasm. Yong Jie ran towards Yao Xue who was calmly walking toward his room. Yao Xue has been teaching him for two weeks already and he felt like they've gotten a lot closer even though Yao Xue still wouldn't show emotions on his face. He was in a hurry to tell Yao Xue some good news that he forgot to dress properly and groom his hair. Those trivial things could wait. Yao Xue stared at the messy Yong Jie who was grinning non-stop. "Come with me!" Yong Jie held Yao Xue's hand and pulled him. No one had held Yao Xue's hand like that or even pulled him like how Yong Jie was doing but he didn't bother to protest because he already knew how stubborn and unreasonable this new Yong Jie was. They stopped in front of Yong Jie's bedroom and Yong Jie turned to look at Yao Xue, still grinning widely as if something really good happened. "I summoned my spiritual animal this morning." He happily said like a child whom his parents bought him a pet dog. Yao Xue felt a little proud and happy to Yong Jie as he remained his boring face. Yong Jie has been bothering Yao Xue to summon again his spiritual animal just like that night but he kept on refusing because he doesn't have a reason why he should and Yong Jie was pouting for the whole day because of that. So, now that Yong Jie could finally summons his own spiritual spirit, he wouldn't bother him anymore about that matter. "Good." Yao Xue said. "I know." Yong Jie said and whistled. Yao Xue was looking forward. Mostly, cultivators having fire elements would own a celestial spiritual animal. The best examples of spiritual animals under that category were Dragon, Phoenix, and Lion. "Come out, Xiao DianDian." Yong Jie gently called and Yao Xue almost broke from his cold expression upon hearing what Yong Jie named his spirit animal. He called it Little Spot. A small dog—no, a gray coat raccoon timidly walked out from the room and was delighted to see his master. Yao Xue picked it up and turned to Yao Xue as he raised it in front of his face. The little raccoon froze in Yong Jie's hands like a kitten that was picked by its mother through their nape as it stared to Yao Xue. "Not bad." Yao Xue answered and Yong Jie laughed as he pulled back his arms and carried it like a little child. "Even Xiao DianDian could feel how cold you are. He's so scared just seeing your face. Why don't you loosen up your face and try stretching your lips in a smile." Yong Jie showed Yao Xue how to smile and he just turned around walking back to his room. "Ah, Yao Xue!" Yong Jie summoned back Xiao DianDian. The raccoon turned into white dust and returned to Yong Jie's core. He ran towards Yao Xue. "What are you going to teach me today?" He happily asked. "Meal." Yong Jie raised a brow. ××× Of course, Yao Xue was talking about breakfast and it was unusual since they had their meal in the hall. Yong Jie saw a new face sitting at the first table on his father's right side. A man with delicate features wearing a dark green robe with the same jade ornament hung on his s***h that Yong Jie has. Of course, he knew who it was. Yong Xian, the firstborn son of Yong Sect. Yong Yi and Yong Jie's older brother. It was the first time Yong Jie meeting elder brother Xian and he was curious about what kind of man this Yong Xian was, but Yong Yi also quiet admired Yong Xian and sometimes slips into their conversations. The only thing he knew about Yong Xian was he had a short temper and he always adores his two younger brothers. Like he has a brother complex thing. Sect Leader Qiang welcome Yong Xian back from his long journey of accompanying one of the Royal Physician in the sect to look for herbs and spices. During the meal, Yong Xian couldn't help but steal some glances at Yong Jie who was sitting across his table beside Yao Xue who visited there a few weeks ago. Of course, he heard about his Jie-didi behaving strangely only a day after living the palace as an escort of Royal Physician ShuFen. He wanted to go back immediately but he couldn't leave the physician, of course. "Xian-gege, did you already know what happened to Ah Jie?" Yong Yi asked in a low voice. Yong Yi told what happened and how his Yong Jie turned into someone he couldn't imagine that Yong Jie would do. Like someone was controlling him. He was still surprised even after Yong Yi was done talking. Yong Xian glanced at Yong Jie who was smiling brightly as he said something to the cold Yao Xue. He almost got blinded by the smile. It was the first time seeing Yong Jie smiled like that and it made him feel jealous that he wasn't the one who made him smile that way. "I know, it's surprising but those two are getting closer these past days since Yao Xue has been teaching him the basics." Yong Yi said. Yong Xian's brain still couldn't process what was really going on to Yong Jie. Yong Jie waking up one day forgetting everything like literally everything, from using the brush up to his martial skills. It was his first time hearing something like that. It was impossible. What was more even impossible was Yao Xue, the cold second son of Xueguo Yong Sect whom he though was mute, because he never hears Yao Xue talks every time they met, was now teaching Yong Jie. As Yong Jie's older brother, it should be his duty to teach his didi too. "Aren't they perfect? One is acting like a brat while another one is ignoring the brat." Yong Yi chuckled as he looked at Yong Jie who was poking Yao Xue for the reason of just annoying the man and Yao Xue glared and rolled his eyes away from Yong Jie. Yong Yi turned to Yong Xian who was staring intently at the two across them making him feel worried. ××××××
