Yong Jie strummed the string of the bow watching it reverberates. It was Yong Jie's first time holding a bow. Though, he was looking forward for Yao Xue to teach him swordsmanship yet somehow, they ended up in Yong Sect's training ground with the rest of the disciples practicing their swords while the two of them were at the isolated side of the training ground were disciples practice archery. Yao Xue choose to teach him archery this time and Yong Jie doesn't have the right to protest. Anyway, he was also looking forward to learn archery. Yong Jie glanced at the far away disciples who shouted as they swung their swords in unison. "Eyes to the target." Yao Xue said. Yong Jie turned his head back and looked at the approximately ten meters away circular paper target with red circles drawn and a black dot at the center of the paper. "Try shooting." Yao Xue said and Yong Jie picked an arrow from the pile of arrows inside the quiver. Yong Jie without slight knowledge and experience about archery draw the arrow on the bow. "Wrong." Yao Xue said making Yong Jie startled that he let go of the arrow with a cry. They watched it flew and hit the ground, not even near the target's location. Yong Jie looked at Yao Xue. "Again." He said in his cold face. Yong Jie picked another arrow and draw it. "Wrong posture." Yao Xue said and hit Yong Jie's back with the hilt of his sword gently. "Straighten your torso, don't lean back." Yong Jie stood straight and did what Yao Xue said as he stated some instructions. "Don't look so stiff." "Slightly bend you knees." "Raise you arms higher." "Not too high." "Lower." It goes on and on that it pissed Yong Jie who turned around and brought the weapon down, his right arm was turning numb from drawing the arrow too long without letting go. "Why don't you just come here and manipulate me. You can't just say higher here lower there when I don't know where to go higher and lower anymore." Yong Jie protested. Yao Xue just looked at him with the same cold expression. "Not doing it? Shy? There's nothing to be shy and conscious about. Our bodies were long aquianted with, we hugged while rolling on the ground, you carried me and not to mention we also ki—ahh!" Yong Jie stepped back when Yao Xue stepped forward, his aura getting darker and dangerous. "Okay, I won't say anything anymore." Yong Jie raised his hands holding the bow and arrow in the air. He was glad that Yao Xue was a person with high tolerance over his teasings. "Do it again." Yai Xue said in his normal icy tone. "Ha?" Yong Jie said, confused but then realized that he was thinking the wrong thing. He thought Yao Xue was referring about teasing him again but he was really referring about the archery thing. Of course, who would ask something to tease him again but Yong Jie noticed a hint of faint pink blush at Yao Xue's ear making him smiled when he turned his body back to the target. He draw the arrow again and Yong Jie felt a breeze swept on his back and a warm presence was pressed on him making his heart skipped a beat and thump-ed louder. Yao Xue with his delicate hands held Yong Jie's arm moving it and his other hand was on his other arm that was drawing the arrow which trembled as Yao Xue positioned it properly. "The arrow should be parallel to the collar." Yao Xue said, his warm breath fanning the side of Yong Jie's neck. Yong Jie shivered and closed his eyes as he breathed in and out slowly to calm his stupid system then opened his eyes again, determined to hit the target and wanting Yao Xue to be proud of him. Yao Xue let go of Yong Jie's arms when he was satisfied land Yong Jie let go of the arrow after looking intently at the target and was sure that he would hit it. Yong Jie cried in happiness when the arrow hit the target even though it didn't hit the center. It still hit the target. Anyway, he has a lot of time to practice archery. Yong Jie, in happiness, turned around and instinctively clung to Yao Xue. Yao Xue froze inside Yong Jie's arms. It was the first time someone recklessly hugged him but he couldn't push him away. Yao Xue just stayed still until Yong Jie's laugh stopped and he realized what he just did. Yong Jie looked at Yao Xue and then smiled. "Done? Get off." Yao Xue coldly said and Yong Jie chuckled as he stepped back. "Jie-dede!" They both turned to look who called and it was Yong Xian. He walked towards them as he holds a white fan. "What a great teacher Young Master Yao Xue is." Yong Xian saluted to Yao Xue and Yao Xue did the same. "I am teaching him only the basics." Yao Xue said. "Elder brother Xian! You came to watch?" Yong Jie smiled. Yong Xian seeing Yao Jie smiled at him wanted to pull Yong Jie in his arms. It was the first time Yong Jie ever smiled to him. The first time! He still couldn't believe what was happening to his younger brother making him feel worried but seeing him happy was enough. Yong Xian has always been worried to Yong Jie before since he rarely speaks and always going to seclusions. Somehow, he let out a sigh of relief seeing how Yong Jie was doing now. It wasn't bad after all. "Hmm, I came to watch and teach you if you want to." Yong Xian said and looked the target and Yong Jie arrow stuck on the third circle from the center. "Elder brother will also teach me?" Yong Jie said feeling excited. Yong Xian nodded and tapped his fan on his palm, thinking. "If you want to practice archery, I know a place where you can practice with live targets." Yong Xian said. ××××××××
