Yong Xian stared at Zi Xin after the man told Yong Xian that he was Zi Xin, scanning and looking straight into the eyes as if inspecting if Zi Xin was telling the truth. Even Zi Xin, if he was in Yong Xian's shoes then he would surely doubt him. Soul transmigration was something written out of a certain cultivator thousands of years ago who himself experienced it. Yet other than that cultivator, no one ever experienced the said thing making people doubt the cultivator yet the concept became popular and people started writing fiction about those topics and it widely spread around the world even until now. "You're not another demon, are you?" Yong Xian asked and Zi Xin frowned feeling uncomfortable how Yong Xian was still holding his wrist and how he was accusing Zi Xin of a demon. "What demon?" "Then how? How are you Zi Xin? Zi Xin is—" "Dead?" Zi Xin cut Yong Xian. "Drowned? I didn't jump in the water, someone dragged me down then I woke up in a different body!" Zi Xin explained. "Even I couldn't believe what happened. I was scared of dying without making up with Xiao Xian—" Zi Xin was surprised when Yong Xian pulled him inside his arms, hugging him tightly. Zi Xin was so surprised that he could find his strength to push Yong Xian away from the fact that they were naked and Yong Xian's body was hot on his skin. It was sending goosebumps. "Xiao Xin. It's really you, right?" Yong Xian asked, his voice full of hope. If it was Zi Xin, then Yong Xian would never let the man go. Never let the man be away from his sight ever again because he couldn't afford to lose Zi Xin again. Zi Xin smiled as he wrapped his arms around Yong Xian. He never felt so happy being with Yong Xian again. Zi Xin never thought that Yong Xian would come and find him instead. Zi Xin nodded his head. "Can spiritual weapons make mistakes?" Yong Xian couldn't explain what he was feeling this time. He threw all the doubt he was feeling inside his heart. No wonder he felt something to Cheng Xin the first time he meet him yet Yong Xian wasn't sure what it was, now he knew why. It was his Zi Xin all along. ××× Yong Xian laced his fingers with Zi Xin's as they walked back inside the inn. Yong Xian's heart was still beating fast thinking Zi Xin was alive in another body. He couldn't be mistaken. Despite being in the wrong body, Yong Xian was certain that it was Zi Xin, his soul was. After all, Zi Xin was his soulmate. Yong Xian told Zi Xin what happened the moment his soul left his original body. About the demon who possessed his body and pretended to be him. Zi Xin was surprised that something like that happened. No wonder Yong Xian mentioned about him as another demon. "You're not afraid that I would turn out to be a demon too?" Zi Xin asked and Yong Xian turned to him, his expression suddenly become serious. Yong Xian stopped walking and pulled the small man, his hand around Zi Xin's waist and Yong Xian looked down at Zi Xin and captured Zi Xin's lips with his. Yong Xian was starting to like Zi Xin's new body, how he was smaller than him making him want to protect Zi Xin even more. Zi Xin was taken aback from the kiss that his whole body froze in place. Yong Xian smirked as he pulled back. "Impossible." Yong Xian said and let go of Zi Xin then walked back ahead to the inn leaving Zi Xin still stunned from what just happened. Zi Xin could still feel the warmth and softness of Yong Xian's lips on his lips. Did Yong Xian just kiss him? ××× Zi Xin had a tough night. He only had four hours of sleep and he blamed it to Yong Xian. He opened his heavy eyes when he heard a rap on his door. He groaned. "Xiao Xin, wake up." Min Jianhua called from the other side of the door. Zi Xin went out of his room after getting dressed properly and fixing himself and saw Min Jianhua and Yong Xian sitting and waiting for Zi Xin so they could start eating breakfast. Zi Xin's gaze lingers to Yong Xian for a while before he turned to Min Jianhua with his blushing cheeks then sat on an empty place of the table, against Yong Xian's seat. "Are you okay?" Min Jianhua asked and touched Zi Xin's warm cheeks. Yong Xian forgot to suppress his expression, throwing deadly glares at Min Jianhua who wasn't aware. Zi Xin smiled at Min Jianhua and nodded his head. After filling their empty stomachs, they fetched their horses. Zi Xin looked at Yong Xian then to Min Jianhua feeling confused where he would ride but it would be safe riding with Min Jianhua. Zi Xin didn't even know if Yong Xian wanted someone riding with him so Zi Xin slowly walked to Min Jianhua. "Xiao Xin." Zi Xin's heart skipped hearing Yong Xian calling him. He turned to Yong Xian who nodded his head to Zi Xin. Min Jianhua looked at Zi Xin and Yong Xian. "Is Zi Xin riding with Young master Yong Xian?" Min Jianhua asked. "Can I?" Zi Xin asked and Min Jianhua chuckled. "Of course." Yong Xian frowned at the two. They seemed close. He watched Zi Xin walking towards him and Yong Xian couldn't take his eyes away from Zi Xin's eyes. The sunlight was making his brown eyes looked lighter, it was almost glowing brown. Yong Xian fought himself from pulling the small man in his arms and kiss him again and again. Zi Xin shyly stopped in front of Yong Xian. "Do you have to ask for his permission? Is he your mother now?" Yong Xian said and Zi Xin smiled, surprising him. "Sort of." Zi Xin joked and Yong Xian tapped his head. Min Jianhua looked at the two men. "Suddenly you seem close. Did something happened last night that I wasn't aware of?" Zi Xin blushed then frantically shook his head. Well, it was indeed suspicious. Yesterday, they were strangers who rarely talk or even make eye contact with each other but now, they were acting like they knew each other for a long time. Was Zi Xin too obvious? ×××××××
