Zi Xin woke up feeling reborn, remembering that he collapsed the last time he was conscious. Zi Xin was alone in the room without any idea where he was. He went out and asked one of the staff of the inn and he was surprised that they were already in the borders of Dashan and he was excited knowing that the inn has its own hot spring. Yong Xian and Min Jianhua were inside their individual rooms since it was already late evening yet Zi Xin decided to take a soak in the hot spring, missing the feeling of the warm water on his skin.
It was an outdoor hot spring and the surroundings weren't dark since the moonlight was illuminating the earth.
Zi Xin hastily removed his robes and threw himself to the hot spring. He jumped from how hot that water was then settled himself in the corner when his body already got used to the temperature. Zi Xin scanned himself and realized that he wasn't skin and bones anymore unlike before, but he was still thin compared to his original body.
Yong Xian saw Cheng Xin awake and walking to the inn's hot spring area. It was already Zi time (11pm~01am) and no one was awake except for the staff, Yong Xian and Cheng Xin.
Yong Xian woke up and couldn't fall back to sleep so he went out and saw Cheng Xin. Yong Xian was thinking if he should also soak in the hot spring. He has things he needed to ask and verify about Cheng Xin.
A lot of things.
Yong Xian silently walked to the hot spring. Cheng Xin's yellow robes were haphazardly laying on the floor and Yong Xian saw a small figure in the hot spring, his back facing him and somehow, the scene felt familiar to Yong Xian. It was like a deja vu making his heart starts to beat faster than normal.
Yong Xian couldn't understand why it was all happening to him. He felt haunted by Zi Xin.
Zi Xin was leisurely bathing alone while his thoughts were to everything that happened that day. He just realized that Zi Xin just revealed himself to Yong Xian when he touched Guang. It recognized his soul that it glowed and Zi Xin didn't know if Yong Xian saw it.
Zi Xin was about to wash his face when he felt a presence making him spun around, his arms crossed on his chest. Zi Xin was surprised to see Yong Xian standing just beside his messy robes.
"Y-young master Yong Xian!" Zi Xin exclaimed in surprise while his heart was beating fast.
Yong Xian stared at the anxious Cheng Xin then started untying the sash of his robes and undressed. Zi Xin was surprised, his cheeks growing darker and he turned around immediately.
Zi Xin wasn't sure if the water became hotter or it was just him. Zi Xin was chanting in his mind to calm down. He shouldn't feel excited about being together with Yong Xian again in the hot spring but Zi Xin couldn't help his feelings.
"I didn't expect young master Cheng Xin to be good with swords." Yong Xian said as he went inside the hot spring, looking at the back of the small man.
Zi Xin turned to face Yong Xian, the water was high enough to cover his v-line and Zi Xin didn't dare to scan Yong Xian's body no matter how his eyes were itching to.
"S-someone taught me." Zi Xin said.
Yong Xian nodded his head, looking at the fidgeting man in front of him whose height was in level with Yong Xian's chin.
"I guess your teacher's very good with his sword."
Zi Xin smiled as he nodded his head while thinking of those times when Yong Xian taught him. "Yes, of course, he is." Zi Xin answered, almost dreamily.
Zi Xin stepped back when Yong Xian took a step closer to him. Zi Xin didn't want to man to be too close to him, afraid that he couldn't hold himself.
"I didn't know you're good with talismans." Yong Xian said then took another step forward and Zi Xin took another step backward.
"Of course! It's not like the whole world knows that this young master is good with talisman." Zi Xin nervously said and wondered why Yong Xian was acting weird.
Yong Xian stopped taking a step and Zi Xin couldn't stop himself anymore, his eyes scanning his well-built body. He wanted to throw himself to Yong Xian.
"Where did young master Cheng Xin learned that sword style?" Yong Xian asked and Zi Xin felt nervous.
"From my teacher, I told you, someone taught me."
"Who?" Yong Xian pressed and Zi Xin looked like a fish out of the water from all those questions.
"My e-elder brother." Zi Xin said and he jumped when Yong Xian held his wrist and pulled him closer, his eyes were scary as he looked at Zi Xin.
"Do you know the sword that I lend for you to use?" Yong Xian asked and his grip on Zi Xin was getting tighter, it was hurting him.
"N-no. Young master Yong Xian, you're hurting me." Zi Xin's heartbeat went wild from fear. He never saw Yong Xian that furious and he didn't know why.
"You did know that it was a spiritual weapon that belonged to someone else. Though it was only quick but I know what I saw, it lit up when you touched it. Spiritual weapons only recognize it's master. How did you do it?"
Zi Xin wanted to cry. Yong Xian was always mean to Zi Xin before but Yong Xian never hurt him physically. The grip on Zi Xin's wrist was stinging and Zi Xin scolded himself not to cry. Will Yong Xian beat him if Zi Xin tells the truth? He was so scared that he just shook and bowed his head.
Yong Xian lifted his chin. Yong Xian could see fear in Cheng Xin's eyes making him loosen his grip on Cheng Xin's wrist but didn't let go. He was desperate to know what was in Cheng Xin that Guang was able to recognize the man as Zi Xin?
"Cheng Xin, who are you?"
