Zi Xin was glad that Min Jianhua went with them. Zi Xin wasn't ready to be alone with Yong Xian. It would be too awkward.
Zi Xin ended up riding with Min Jianhua. Zi Xin just clutched Jianhua's robes, messing it every time Zi Xin would pull it to maintain his balance as the horse moved.
"Hold on properly." Min Jianhua grabbed Zi Xin's hand and forcefully wrapped it around Min Jianhua's waist, locking it. Zi Xin didn't have a choice since he didn't have a horse for himself.
Zi Xin just groaned as he wrapped his other hand around Min Jianhua. Yong Xian looked away from the two who looked like lovers in their horse.
Zi Xin thought what he would do after arriving in Dashan when Min Jianhua and Yong Xian stopped their horses and cautiously looked around making Zi Xin wondered.
"What?" Zi Xin whispered.
Min Jianhua shhhhed him and went down from the horse and carried Zi Xin down. Zi Xin hated how frail and small Cheng Xin was looking like a doll as Min Jianhua carries him like one.
"Demons." Min Jianhua said and chills ran down Zi Xin's spine.
Zi Xin didn't have his sword with him but it would still be useless in his current condition. Cheng Xin did cultivate his core but he didn't have that much energy since he was forbidden to cultivate any further due to his weak body. Welding a spiritual weapon would only drain Zi Xin. So he could only use talismans as his main self-defense.
A moment later after slowly walking around and sensing where the weird energy was coming from, a group of demons appeared. Zi Xin felt relieved that the group was only turned corpses but they still got surrounded.
Yong Xian frowned thinking where the corpses came from. The copses started charging to their direction and Yong Xian drew Mei from its sheath.
"Stay." Min Jianhua said to Zi Xin who was holding the reins of Min Jianhua's horse.
Zi Xin pouted as he watched Min Jianhua and Yong Xian beheading the turned corpses. Min Jianhua ordered him to stay like Zi Xin was his dog. Zi Xin's heartbeat went fast when he heard a low growl behind him and he fought himself from shouting like a scared chicken.
The two cultivators were busy and Zi Xin didn't have to call for help since he could protect himself. He fetched a few pieces of his talisman in his robe and drew a sleeping spell. Zi Xin threw it to the forehead of the corpses who were approaching him and Zi Xin was expecting it not to work but the corpses stopped walking and just stood straight on the ground making Zi Xin laughed in his mind.
Thank God this Cheng Xin knows his talismans! Zi Xin thought.
Corpses were still approaching him and Zi Xin drew talismans until only a few pieces of blank papers were left making him glace at Min Jianhua.
"Xiao An! I'm running out of talisman!" Zi Xin cried and Min Jianhua appeared behind him, beheading a corpse.
"What did you do?" Min Jianhua asked, looking at the still corpses with talismans on their foreheads.
Min Jianhua pulled the talisman from one of the corpse's forehead making Zi Xin cried.
"You!" Zi Xin pointed the corpse who woke up growling and before it could take a step forward to attack Min Jianhua, Min Jianhua already planted his sword in the corpse's forehead.
"A sleeping talisman?" Min Jianhua read the talisman. "Not an ordinary sleeping talisman. You're good at this."
"Of course." Zi Xin said and pointed another approaching corpses which Min Jianhua sent their heads flying.
Zi Xin counted the remaining piece of his blank talisman. Only five left. Zi Xin sighed and slipped the papers in his robes them turned to Yong Xian. The man was always good with us sword. Zi Xin was under Yong Xian's teaching for a year so Zi Xin knew Yong Xian's sword style.
A horde of corpses was still approaching them and Zi Xin didn't want to stay still and watch Min Jianhua and Yong Xian. He needed a weapon to help.
"Can someone give me a sword?" Zi Xin said.
Yong Xian thought for a while after hearing Cheng Xin. He did have an extra sword but it was too precious to be used by a stranger yet their situation was getting worst. They were about to be drowned and be cornered by those turned corpses.
"I do." Yong Xian said.
Zi Xin was amazed seeing Yong Xian materialized a familiar sword and carefully threw it to him. Zi Xin held the hilt and examined it making him smile.
It was Guang. Zi Xin's spiritual weapon. The sword immitted a faint glow and Zi Xin controlled the distribution of his energy so the little energy he has would last, the glow around the sword was close to invisible to the naked eye.
"Thank you, Young master Yong Xian." Zi Xin said and kept his wide smile to himself. Yong Xian kept Guang beside him making Zi Xin felt so happy.

Zi Xin felt so tired after they got rid of all the turned corpses for an hour. The bodies slowly turning into dust back to the earth. Zi Xin's hands were trembling and it was suddenly hard for him to breathe.
"Xiao An." He weakly called before he saw the world spun and Zi Xin collapsed.
Yong Xian and Min Jianhua saw Cheng Xin losing his consciousness and Yong Xian was fast to appear in front of Cheng Xin, catching the man in his arms.
He was surprised how light Cheng Xin was. Looking at Chen Xin's face, it was getting paler. Min Jiahua checked Cheng Xin's pulse on his left wrist and found that Cheng Xin's energy was close to draining.
"Hold Xiao Xin still." Min Jianhua said and transferred energy to Cheng Xin enough for the man to last before they could find a proper place to rest him.
They found an inn to check in near the boarders of Xiāng Liao and Dashan. Min Jianhua carefully laid Cheng Xin on the bed. Min Jianhua was glad that Young master Yong Xian bought one of the herbs that could help Cheng Xin and gave it willingly.
Cheng Xin must not die because Yong Xian still has questions for the man inside his mind that needed answers.
