Yong Jie woke up feeling good but he panicked when he couldn't move his body but his back felt good like someone was rubbing a cold balm on his wounds.
"Yong Yi!" He grunted when he felt a presence near him but he couldn't move his head to check who. It seems like his body was locked.
"Ah Jie! You're finally awake!" Yong Yi said who rushed inside the room upon hearing Yong Jie.
"Why can't I move?" Yong Jie asked and tried so hard to move his body but he couldn't even move a muscle.
"Ahh, Yao Xue is currently treating you right now." Yong Yi said making Yong Jie frown.
Impossible. Yong Jie thought.
Yao Xue was avoiding him like a plague for days and now he was treating his wounds?
"Yong Yi, just tell me why can't I move?" He asked and felt a wave of cold energy on his back soothing his bruises.
"I temporarily paralyzed your body." Yao Xue said who was sitting on the bed and was treating Yong Jie. He could only lessen the pain and the swelling of his back and lighten the bruises.
Yong Jie couldn't believe that Yao Xue was really there and he was aiding him with his recovery making him glad but he wasn't happy that he couldn't move his body.
"Yao Xue, is that really you?" Yong Jie still asked and no one answered. "Why would you paralyze me? Can't you heal me without doing this?"
"No." Yao Xue coldly said.
"How long were you doing this?" He asked and there was a paused before Yao Xue answered.
"Not long."
"Almost an hour." Yong Yi said. "Brother Jie should be grateful to Young master Yao Xue. You had a high fever and you said I couldn't tell mother and father and royal physician Fang. Ah Xian was away for an errand with the second physician so there was no one I could ask but only young master Yao Xue." Yong Yi said.
Yong Jie was silent for a moment. "Mother didn't know about what happened?"
"No, mother will be back before dusk."
Yong Jie felt relieved.
"Young master Yao Xue said he could heal you before mother will be back." Yong Yi added.
Yong Jie couldn't help but smile. "Yao Xue, you don't have to do this much. Besides, won't it consume a lot of your spiritual energy?"
"I'm not someone who runs out of spiritual energy easily just because of this." Yao Xue said and Yong Jie chuckled.
"You don't have to be shy and you can tell me straight that you're worried about me—ahh!" Yong Jie cried when Yao Xue pressed on his back. Though, it didn't hurt that much compared when his wounds were fresh, it still stings.
"Do you want me to silence you?" Yao Xue warned but he still continued on treating Yong Jie.
"Okay. Okay. I'll be good but can Young master Yao Xue give the control of my body back?" He smiled, hoping for Yao Xue to say yes. "I'll be Yao Xue's good boy."
Yong Yi couldn't help but let out a laugh but immediately shut his mouth and continued on laughing silently. He couldn't believe what he heard from Ah Jie's mouth. Ah Jie never surrender himself to anyone, ever. Even though he knew that this Ah Jie wasn't the same Ah Jie that he knew since childhood, he still couldn't believe it.
Yong Yi went out of the room. No matter how amusing seeing Ah Jie acting strange, he didn't want to destroy the image of his Third Brother in his mind.
Yao Xue was silent all the time and he pressed on Yong Jie's back and undo Yong Jie's paralyzed body surprising Yong Jie.
"Yao Xue. Thank you!" Yong Jie turned his head and laid still on his stomach not daring to break his promise as he stared at Yao Xue's cold expression yet his hair was on the way.
Yao Xue just glanced to Yong Jie and turned back his focusing on healing him.
Yong Jie stared at Yao Xue as he tried to blow his hair that seemed like a curtain. He wanted to see Yao Xue's beautiful face properly.
"Yao Xue, help me with my hair." He smiled and Yao Xue didn't paid him a glance as he moved his free-hand and gestured a sweeping motion in the air that threw the hair away from Yong Jie's face.
"Thank you, Yao Er-gege." He smiled and he saw a small change of Yao Xue's face but only for a second.

Yong Jie's wounds were almost completely healed. It still hurt if he moves suddenly or carries heavy objects but over all, he felt better after what Yao Xue did. He was looking around his room for the first time, taking in the delicate designs of the wooden furnitures and looked around for things he could use.
He only saw few necessities, clothes and he just knew that Yong Jie has only one ribbon to tie his hair. Yong Jie check the drawers and the most eye catching things inside was an empty teardrop shape vial.
Unsealed the cover and smelled the vial but he couldn't smell anything. He placed the vial back and continued searching. He walked back to the screen covering the bed and saw Yong Jie's sword.
A dark jade colored sword. Yong Jie slowly unsheathed it and saw a character that reads Qing near the hilt. The blade was shiny that he could see a clear reflection of his face. He sheathed it back and placed the sword on the bed.
Yong Jie decided to go out and watch the disciples train only to be surprised when he saw Yao Xue standing outside his door with his famous cold face.
"Yao Xue, what a surprise." Yong Jie grinned. "Did young master Yao Xue misses me?"
"Never." He coldly said and turned around then walked back of his tracks.
Yong Jie without nothing to do, tailed Yao Xue like a shadow. "Never? Really?" He continued to tease.
He walked before Yao Xue, tailing him everywhere he turned and then finally stopped in front of a closed door. They were on the west side of the palace and on top of the roof had a huge characters that says Library.
Yao Xue went inside and looked back to Yong Jie who remained standing outside.
"I'll be your teacher so up to you if you want to learn or not." Yao Xue said and Yong Jie couldn't hide how happy he was when he heard that Yao Xue would be teaching him. He wanted to dance in happiness right there or even kiss Yao Xue.
It was either Sect Leader Qiang couldn't help but spoil him or this Young Master Yao Xue just couldn't resist him.
Yong Jie thought, all those whips were worth it.
