"Yao Xue." Yong Jie whined. "You didn't say anything about this deadly long stairs!"

"Haven't you been here before?" Yao Xue asked and Yong Jie frowned, thinking.

Yong Jie did recalled fragments of memories from the original Yong Jie about Xueguo and the Yao Sect palace.

"Y-yes, but I forgot." Yong Jie said and they stopped on the first flight and Yao Xue looked at Yong Jie who was pouting like a kid.

"Then should I carry you?" Yao Xue asked.

Yong Jie's face lightened from the offer but Yong Jie knew that Yao Xue wasn't fully recovered after he did to Yong Jie.

"Nuh, I'm fine. I was just ranting." Yong Jie said and continued climbing the stairs then stopped and turned to Yao Xue.

"I can carry you on my back." Yao Xue insisted.

Yong Jie smiled. "Aren't you too selfless? Is young master Yao Xue always like this?"

Yao Xue just looked at Yong Jie. He knew that he was only like that to Yong Jie since Yong Jie was the only person closest to him. Yao Xue isn't even that close to Yao Chun, his older brother.

"You shouldn't act like this, okay? Because people might take advantage of you."

Honestly, Yao Xue wouldn't mind if Yong Jie would take advantage of him. It was only Yong Jie who was over thinking.

Yong Jie turned then started climbing his punishment. If ordinary people would climb these stairs, then it would take forever to reach the top. Since, Yong Jie was somewhere in a parallel universe far from his original world, they climb the stairs for only a few incense sticks.

Yong Jie was tired upon arriving yet he was amazed of the palace planted on the top. It was truly just like those grandeur palaces in movies he had seen before. The most amazing was that the walls were ice and intricate designed were carved beautifully. There were even two statues of cultivators carved in ice on the entrance.

"Yao Xue, you live here?" Yong Jie asked.

Yao Xue just hummed and walked ahead of Yong Jie who was turning his head around, scanning the place. Yong Jie wondered how the ice didn't melt but, of course, magic were involved.

The front doors opened and maid servants welcomed Yao Xue and Yong Jie. The sect leader of Yao Sect and the Madame walked out of the hall and welcomed Yao Xue too since they were waiting for their arrival. Yao Xue and Yong Jie saluted to the sect leaders.

"Our Xue-didi is back." Yao Chun said as he walked out of the hall to welcome them after hearing that Yao Xue would be back tonight. Yao Chun was surprised to see Yong Jie with Yao Xue. Yao Chun saluted.

Yong Jie hid his chuckle when he heard what Yao Xue's brother just called Yao Xue as Yong Jie saluted back to Yao Chun. Of course, Yong Jie remembered Yao Chun.

"Third brother Yong Jie, what a surprise visit." Sect leader Jian said and Yong Jie smiled.

Everyone was quite surprised. They knew Yong Jie as being cold, even colder than their Yao Xue. Seeing Yong Jie smiling was a shock for them.

Yong Jie apologized for his sudden visit and they went inside to continue talking.

"Chun-er will guide young master Yong Jie to his bed chamber." Madame Ling said, thinking that the two were tired from the journey.

"Ah, Madame Ling, thank you but Yong Jie would like to sleep with Young master Yao Xue." Yong Jie said and Madame Ling froze. Sect Leader Jian suddenly turned to Yong Jie while Yao Chun let out a low laugh thinking how bold this new Yong Jie was.

"I will take Young master Yong Jie to his personal bedchamber." Yao Xue said and Yong Jie grinned.

They bid goodbye and Yong Jie followed Yao Xue.

"Xue-er gege." Yong Jie called and Yao Xue frowned. "I can't believe they called you here in a cute manner."

Yong Jie pouted when Yao Xue didn't say anything. Yao Xue took Yong Jie to some guest rooms situated near Yao Xue's bedchamber, crossing a bridge under a lotus pond.

"You have a pond here." Yong Jie looked down as he walked on the short bridge where lotus were growing. Yong Jie ran to Yao Xue who left him behind and then stopped in front of one of the rooms.

"Rest. I will wake you up tomorrow morning."

Yao Xue said and Yong Jie nodded then watched Yao Xue leave.

Yong Jie pouted. "I still want to sleep with you though." He muttered then turned around, pushing the door open.

Yong Jie woke up early but he didn't get off the bed yet. He stayed laying down thinking about the things that happened for the past years when he came into this world. Yong Jie's first goal was to find the one who poisoned him but after Yong Jie recovered fragments of Yong Jie's memories, he saw that Yong Jie was the one who killed himself.

Yong Jie sighed and closed his eyes back and waited for Yao Xue to come and wake him up.

When Yong Jie heard knocks from the door, he closed his eyes and pretended that he was still sleeping. Of course, Yong Jie left the door open for that purpose.

Yong Jie was fighting to hide his smile as he heard Yao Xue stepped inside the room and slowly walked to the bed.

"Yong Jie." Yao Xue called and Yong Jie didn't even stirred in his sleep.

Yao Xue stared at Yong Jie for a while before he called again. Yong Jie was waiting for Yao Xue to walk closer and he was getting a little conscious how he could feel Yao Xue's stares or was it just his imagination. When Yao Xue stepped closer to poke Yong Jie, Yong Jie opened his eyes and pulled Yao Xue in the bed, laughing.

"I got you!" Yong Jie laughed as he rolled on top of Yao Xue.

"Yong Jie!" Yao Xue warned just when someone knocked on the door and stepped inside

"Xue-gege—" Yao Chun left his mouth opened with no words coming out from it.

It was Yao Chun's first time seeing Yao Xue getting dominated like that.

"Yao Chun." Yao Xue could only mutter while Yong Jie slowly get off Yao Xue.

"Young master Yao Chun. Sorry, we were just playing around." Yong Jie said and Yao Chun looked at Yao Xue in shock.

"Playing?" Yao Chun said. Yao Xue never plays with Yao Chun. He looked at the two and Yao Chun could see how close the two were.

Yao Chun smiled thinking how interesting to see more of that Yao Xue's side
