Dinner went on for a while. Kristian and I learned that Niklaus and his siblings were able to come to frost because of Lucas when he came to visit their family over in Europe. Niklaus and them were curious about how Lucas was living and persuaded their parents to allow them a year of normalcy before one of the three have to take over for their parents. I was learning more about these three within a week or two than I did with Lucas in all of the years we knew each other. I looked over at Kristian that was just enjoying her time looking at Kaiden.
