Before I could realize what was happening, he planted a kiss on me, hard. There was no breathing happening between the two of us. He put a hand on my waist as he continued to kiss me. His warm hand met my cold skin and brought me back to reality. I pushed away.  “Um, I’m a little underdressed,” I said as I continued to cover my body.  He scratched the back of his head and had an embarrassed smile on his face, “Sorry I got carried away.” I laughed at him as I had him grab one of the blankets Lucila and I had left at the abandoned house.  Niklaus walked me home and I knew this was going to be a very awkward conversation with my mom, but she couldn’t be left in the dark anymore considering what happened last night.
