His sudden solemnity scared me.
I bit my bottom lip uneasily, “Of course. I’m not lying. I won’t leave you, that’s not a lie.”
Aries lowered his eyelids, I saw a trace of deep sorrow flash through his eyes, “But he said you’re lying to me. He said you didn’t love me at all. You’re just using me to get what you want.”
His speech was unexpected. It made me sweat a little bit. I for/ced myself a smile at him, “What are you talking about? Who is he?”
Aries hesitated after hearing my question, but eventually he told me, “The voice in my head. He kept telling me you’re lying to me. You’re in love with that Louis. You’re just pretending to be nice to me so you can save Louis from being killed by me.”
