“Well, that went well. No embarrassments and no awkward conversation. Maybe Louis had stopped loving Lucy.” After ending the meeting with Louis. I breathed a sigh of relief and collapsed onto the sofa.
The skin on my hand back his lips touched burnt a little bit but I quickly swept that weird feeling away and started to talk with Cora.
Cora was excited about meeting Louis for reasons I couldn’t comprehend. All the time I had conversation with him, Cora bounced up and down in my head restlessly. It caused me a little bit of a headache, “So what’s happening here? Why are you so excited about seeing him?”
