Chapter 11: Confession.

Right now, Dream and Lily is sitting on the table in the cafeteria. The atmosphere around them became really awkward after what happened before.

They just done eating their food. And they don't have any topic to talk about. But they feel like they want to be together right now. The one who broke the silence in the air is Lily.

"So... Dream. Are you really okay now?"

"Yeah. I'm thankful to you that you save my life there..."

Then silent filled the room. They look at each other eyes and immediately looked away.

Dream looked at Lily and realized something. Something the same as him.

"Lily. Let's go back up. I want to talk to you about something."

"Eh? Sure..."

Dream and Lily pay their food and went upstairs.

"So Dream... What do you want to talk about?"

Lily sat down at Dream bed. She looked around the plain room. Lily look at Dream and immediately went red.

"Lily..."

Dream said with a gentle voice. Lily twitch hearing that.

"What?"

"You know, I've been feeling weird lately. Every time I'm close with you I feel burning. And Today. It confirmed. I love you. Will you go out with me?"

Dream said with a voice full of conviction. He look her in the eyes.

Lily immediately answer.

"Yes! Million times Yes! I love you too!"

She jumped toward Dream. Dream immediately caught her.

"I'm so happy right now!"

Lily said. Hearing that, Dream smiled.

They both hugged for quite a while.

"So since when that you like me?"

Lily ask Dream.

"I think after the tournament. I feel something when I'm with you. So I really sad when we part ways..."

"Oh Same for me."

They sat at Dream bed while holding each other hand.

"So, Should we keep this a secret? Or just blurted it out?"

"Let's not say anything. Let people figured it out by themselves!"

"Alright then."

Dream and Lily talk to each other with an expression they never make.

They talked for hours before finally they realize that they have a match tomorrow. So Dream send her back to her room.

"See you Tomorrow Dream!"

"See you!"

Lily went inside her room. Dream went downstairs to go to the cafeteria.

"Fortunately it's open 24 hours."

Dream grabbed snacks and water and went back to his room.

"Finally I get that out of my way..."

Dream muttered while smiling. As he eat the snacks on his bed. He finished eating and went to bed. Tomorrow is the last day of the tournament. Hopefully...

As he sleep peacefully, It suddenly become an intense morning. Someone Bang on Dream door.

"DREAM! WAKE UP! WE ARE LATE!"

As he heard Lily voice from the outside, He immediately wake up.

"WAIT FOR ME!"

Dream shouted from inside the room. He quickly change his clothes and went outside.

"Let's go!"

Dream and Lily immediately ran downstairs and charged toward the Arena.

As they ran toward the Arena, The Broadcast show that Eis is fighting in the final. Alone.

"Oh s**t! We're really late!"

Dream said. They went even faster to the arena. They finally arrived at the outside of the arena.

As they coming in to the arena, The Cheers got even louder. Dream and Lily goes out. Eis looked at them and smiled.

"Took you long enough!"

She's currently holding 3 people by herself. And all 3 of them is as strong as her.

"Sorry President! We have our circumstances!"

Dream said while jumping to the arena. With his Chains of Acedia on both hands.

Dream swings the chains below their knees. They jumped to evade the chains.

"Hah! Caught you!"

Dream swing the chains upward.

"Yoga! Tie them!"

'Aye!'

As they get hit by the chains, The chains started to wrap to their body.

"Lily, President! It's up to you!"

"Thank you!"

Lily and Eis grabbed their weapon. Lily using her Katana and Eis with her Ice sword. They charged toward the chained enemies.

Lily swing the back of her katana on the opponent neck. Eis stab the ground on the other one and froze them in place. And the one of the enemy that left admitted their defeat.

"THE WINNER OF THIS TOURNAMENT IS! Million Years Academy!"

A loud cheers came from the viewer. Dream, Lily and Eis went back inside the arena. They immediately get interviewed by a whole lot of people.

"President! We leave this to you!"

"Eh?!"

Dream and Lily managed to sneak out of the way and left Eis behind alone.

They immediately went to a restaurant. Leaving Eis to take care of their problem.

Dream and Lily wake up so late that they haven't had the chance to eat and drink. Especially Dream who always started his days by drinking water. He look so thirsty.

They ordered their food and waited.

"So Dream. I want to ask something about you."

"Yeah. Ask Anything you want. I won't hide anything."

Dream said confidently.

"How are you this strong? Is there a secret behind this?"

Dream shocked hearing that. He was wondering if he should talk about the Hidden Legacy or not. But he already promise Lily that he won't hide anything.

"Lily. Can I told you about that later? It's quite a secret you see. I don't want to talk about it in public."

"Hm? Alright then. So, I'm going to ask you another question. Where are your hometown? I want to know where you grew up."

"I'm from a village called Examate. It's a village that at least 100 kilometer from Artine. We should visited it together next time."

"Yeah! I want to meet your parents. I want to know what kind of person they are!"

"Well, They are just a simple person. But, I will take you back there."

They were chatting about their hometown. Then their order came.

"Let's talk about it later. Let's eat!"

They are too focused on the food that they forgot about the trophy of the tournament. Finally, Eis walked in with 2 trophy.

She walked with an anger on her face.

"Both of you..."

She said. Dream and Lily suddenly feel chill on their body.

"Um.. President... Sorry."

Dream and Lily said. They immediately try to run. But, Their leg is froze in space. With an icy smile Eis approach the two of them and sat down next to Lily.

"Why are you guys just chilling here? While I do most of your jobs? I know it's no use to try and scold you. So let's just settle this by buying me food."

"Y-yes President!"

Dream and Lily immediately sigh in relieve. Because Dream and Lily pay for her food, Eis decided to order a lot of food for herself. And she managed to eat all of it. Apparently, Because of her stress, She can eat a lot of food.

She finally stopped ordering after Lily said the magical word.

"You will get fat if you eat that much!"

It immediately put Eis back to her mind and stopped eating.

That word save Dream and Lily a lot of money.

"Ah right. Here's your trophies. Keep it in your room."

Eis push the trophies to Dream and Lily.

"We keep it? Here I thought that we are going to put it in the Student Council room."

"You could... But it nicer to keep it in your own room right?"

"Yeah. Well, Thank you president!"

After that, Dream left Lily and Eis to pay the food.

"Lily, Are you busy after this?"

Ask Eis.

"Not Really. Why?"

"We're going to held a party tonight! If you can, come to my room."

"Only the both of us?"

"No. Invite your friends if you want to. I'm also going to invite my friends. We're going to party after all."

"Alright then. I will ask my friends to come!"

As they were talking, Dream call them out.

"Lily, President. Let's go back!"

"Yes"

Lily and Eis walk toward Dream. They take their time walking to the academy.

"It's started to get hot huh..."

Dream complained as they are walking.

"Ah right. Summer is near. We're going to go on a vacation..."

Eis said. Dream and Lily immediately look confused

"Wait, We're going to go on a vacation? Where are we going?"

"Hm... Usually we're going to Miss Elaine private island. Probably this year too."

"What exactly are we doing there?"

"Having fun and Train!"

"Well, You said enough President. I can't wait to go!"

As soon as Dream heard that, He immediately get excited. Lily and Eis look troubled.

They immediately went back to their Dorm. Dream put his trophy in a shelf near his bed. Then he talk to himself

"Lily want to go to Examate... If I bring her there, I wonder if my Parents would be surprise... Especially my big sister. She probably would be a time bomb and reveal all of my Embarrassing story..."

"I really want to meet her parents too. I hope that her parent accepted me"

As Dream talking to himself, A knock come from his door.

"Dream, Can I come in?"

Dream heard Lily voice from outside the room.

"Come in Lily."

Dream answered. Lily open the door. Dream immediately smiled seeing Lily.

"So, Can I get the answer now?"

"Okay then. So, The real reason that I get this strong is."

Dream stop midway his sentence. Lily looked really eager to know the answer.

"I just Train Nonstop. I must say though, Having someone that always bully me will lead to more greater result."

Dream said. He technically tell the truth. He just Train nonstop for 5 straight years. The reason he don't say about the Hidden Legacy is so that Dream can explain it clearly without telling something that he not supposed to tell.

"Really? You were bullied? I didn't know that..."

"It's okay now. I already teach them a lesson. So, I don't worry about it anymore."

Dream said. Lily looked really proud at Dream. Lily can tell how much work he put into to try to prove his power. Even after gaining that much power, He still wanting more. He always train to gain more. But sadly, No one is strong enough to match him for now.

"Ah right, President Eis is holding a party in her room. You want to go?"

Lily ask Dream to come with her. She told her to bring all of her friend but, she decided to just ask Dream alone.

"Sure. I want to socialize with people too."

Lily went back to her room. Dream take a shower and wear his casual clothes. They meet up outside their room and walk toward Eis room together.

"Geh..."

As Dream and Lily open the door to Eis room. Dream see a lot of senior. And All of them is a girl.

They immediately look at Dream. Dream panic and say to Lily.

"Lily... I'm just going to play some soccer with Julius. Later!"

As Dream want to run away, His arm is grabbed by Lily.

"That's not okay Dream! President invited us so we must come!"

"Um... Lily, Are you sure?"

"Yes! It's a great time to make people aware of our relationship!"

"Uwaa...."

Dream timidly step into the room while Lily step into the room confidently.

"Ah Welcome You two!"

Eis greeted them. Dream and Lily greeted her back. Lily and Eis immediately sat down on the floor and started talking to the others.

'Girls is fast to know each other...' Dream thought.

Dream is currently on the side of the room He wants to leave but, If he leave, He might get scolded by Lily.

He just quietly sitting and drinking his tea.

'Let's just plan for our Vacation.' Dream thought.

Dream wouldn't said anything if people not ask anything to him. So, He just use his time to plan the future. After all, He doesn't want his free time to be ruined.

"Dream!"

As Dream was thinking about the plan, Lily called him.

"Ah Yes Lily?"

"Come here for a sec."

Dream walk toward Lily. Lily immediately grabbed Dream arm and made him sit next to her.

"So, What's the problem here?"

Dream ask to Lily.

"So, We're playing truth or dare just now. And I just thought that you want to play. You look so lonely back there."

Lily said with a worried voice.

"Well, Don't worry about me. Play with them. It's kind of awkward you see. I'm the only guy here. So take your time here and Call me if something happened."

"Where are you going now?"

"Training. See you later Lily!"

Finally Dream can get out of that situation smoothly. Dream, Without hesitation, Opened the window outside Eis room and Jumped through it. He immediately ran toward the forest.

"Yoga. How do I unlock the third form?"

Dream asked to Yoga.

'Master, You need to use the Chains of Acedia Skills more! Like Halberd of Ira, The Angry you got, The stronger the attack would be. And For Chains of Acedia you need to be more lazy!'

As Usual, Yoga gave Dream a straight answer with her excited voice.

"Lazy huh... I got it then."

The key to using Yoga weapon skills is in your heart. If you thought you're mad, You can use Halberd of Ira skills. And if you think you're lazy, You can use Chains of Acedia skills.

"Chains of Acedia."

As Dream called Chains of Acedia, He started gazing off to the distance. He close off his mind and started to think of emptiness. All of his power left his body. He limped down to the ground. He thought to himself.

'I'm Lazy' He keep saying that word until he become really really lazy.

He became really lazy to the point that he was actually asking himself why are he doing this. Then he remember to try and use Chains of Acedia skills.

'Master, You can now use Chains of Acedia skills! Do you want to keep it? Or Use it immediately?'

"Yoga... Just keep it. I'm not in the mood of trying anything..."

Dream answer Yoga question like that.

'Uwaa, Master, You really became Lazy...'

Yoga thought to himself.

Then, Not too long after that, Dream finally back from his laziness.

"I'm really hungry. I hope I bump into Lily in the cafeteria..."

He said while walking toward the Dorm.

"No one here huh... Well, I suppose I will ate alone then..."

Dream look sad not seeing Lily anywhere. So he decided to buy a lot of snack and went back upstairs to his room. As soon as he went inside his room, Dream ear piece start to vibrate.

"Hello? This is Dream."

Dream put it in his ears.

"This is Lily."

Dream hear Lily also answer the call. Which mean that Elaine is the one who call them.

"This is Elaine. Both of you, I have a job for you."

Dream immediately confused hearing that.

"Well, We are on our way!"

Lily said. Dream immediately walk to Elaine office.

Lily and Dream meet up near the Office and knock on Elaine door.

"Miss, Dream and Lily is here. Can we come in?"

"Yes. Come in!"

Dream and Lily open the door slowly and see Elaine sitting with a paper in her hand.

"Here's your job. All of the necessary information is written on it. Read it first and tell me what you think about it."

Dream took the paper from Elaine. Dream and Lily sat down next to each other and look at the paper. They read it about 2 times. They had to make sure that they really see what they see.

"What do you think?"

Elaine ask the Confused Dream and Lily.

"Killing Goblin Lord? Really miss?"

"If Goblin Lord Died, they will turned into a chaos essence. Do you really want us to kill it?"

Dream and Lily ask for confirmation once again.

Chaos Essence is an essence that dropped when a lord type monster died. And people who participate to kill it will get a Chaos Essence. Chaos Essence is an essence that enhance your power.

"I ask you once again miss, Do you want us to get the chaos essence?"

"Yes. I want only both of you to kill the Goblin Lord. Once you get the chaos essence, Immediately swallow it. I will tell you why once you got back."

Dream and Lily still doesn't believe why she want only both Dream and Lily to kill Goblin Lord. Lord type monster is the strongest type. Usually, You need a group of strong people to kill one. And Elaine want only two people to kill it.

"I mean, If you don't want to, I'm going to go with the other protector."

"Miss, You know we're going to accept it."

Dream said with a awkward smile. Elaine immediately smiled at him and told him more about the location of the Goblin Lord.

"Goblin Lord is in a mountain near a village called 'Rizzu' From the intel I got, It planned to attack that village. So go as fast as you could and warn the people there."

"Rizzu is 200 km from Nova. You can ride anything to go there. Go now!"

"Yes Miss!"

Dream and Lily immediately prepare their equipment.

'It will take at least 12 hours if we go at a decent speed. I think we could manage it!'

Dream and Lily immediately take off. They decided to run to Rizzu because they believe that the road to go there will be rough. So it will only slow them down to bring something.

"Still, I can't believe she only sent the both of us."

"I think she really believe that we can kill it. So, I can't wait to fight it."

"Oh Dream... You're a battle junkie huh..."

At this point they were communicating using their ear piece. Because they were running at a high speed, They can't hear as good. So they need that ear piece to hear each other talk clearly.

"So, That's the mountain huh?"

Dream said. He look to the giant mountain that cover the village.

"That's 'Manamoa' The mountain that Miss Elaine said. The Village is right behind it. Which mean we need to go to the other side."

Lily explain to Dream. Dream immediately sigh

"Haa... Lily, What should we do now? Circle around the mountain? Or are we going to walk through it?"

"I think we should circle around right now. The mountain is quite far away. So, If we turn right now, We might be able to skip the whole mountain."

"Alright then. I was thinking that we just blow a hole in the mountain but, That's good."

"No. Don't blow a hole in the mountain. It's fortunate that we are together. If you're alone, You definitely destroy that mountain..."

Lily scolded Dream. Dream immediately look down to the ground in shame.

"But, I'm happy though that it's only the both of us."

Lily said while smiling sweetly to Dream.

"W-Well, It's becoming night time now. Should we keep running or should we set up a camp?"

Dream said while flustered. He immediately went red after seeing Lily sweet smile.

"I think we should set camp right now. If we keep running, We will arrive there by the morning but, It will also mean we also need to rest immediately. So, Let's rest right now and work nonstop tomorrow."

"Good enough for me"

Dream and Lily won't search for the Goblin Lord. They will let the Goblin Lord came to them. So that's the reason they go to Rizzu and warn the villager there about the coming of Goblin Lord.

In this giant mountain, It will be hard to search for the Goblin Lord.

Dream and Lily set up their tent. They also light a fire to cook their food.

After they ate their food, They immediately went to bed they comfortably sleeping through the night. They were sleeping next to each other.

Morning came. They took down their tent and light their fire once again. Lily cook Dream some meat.

"Thank you Lily"

Lily handed Dream portion. They sat down next to each other and talk.

"Hey Dream. Do you think People already notice about our relationship?"

"I don't know... I'm hoping that they still have no clue about it. Because, I don't know how would they interact with us if they knew we are dating...."

"Hm... Well, If they act differently to us, We don't care right?"

"Right"

Dream smiled a bit hearing Lily say that. They quietly eating their meal as they see the fire dies out. After they done eating, They pack their stuff, and started walking again. From the get go, They immediately went all out and go fast.

"Dream, Lily, This is Elaine. Where are you guys right now?"

Elaine called Dream and Lily through the ear piece to check on their condition.

"Ah Miss, We just woke up. We're still quite far away. Probably only 4 hours worth."

"Alright then. Take care. Be careful on your way."

"Yes Miss!"

Elaine cut off her call. Dream and Lily speed up even more. Because they already take a good night sleep, Their energy is full.

"Dream, I'm going to fly with Gava. Is that okay?"

"Yeah. I'm going to use my Chains then."

They agree to use their own weapon. A white feather wings appear behind Lily. Lily immediately jumped to the air and heir wing flapped.

A black chains appear on Dream forearms.

"Yoga."

'Yes master'

As soon as Dream call Yoga, She immediately know what to do. The chains around Dream Arms immediately wrapped around the tree. Dream, Swing from Tree to Tree in an incredible speed. Because Yoga is the one who control the chains, Dream is letting her take control of the speed.

Lily and Dream is going at a high speed. Dream can See Lily flying on the sky.

'Look at her. She seems to have fun flying through the sky'

Dream thought. Dream decided that in the near future, He will developed his own skill to let him go to the sky.

Then Dream thought to himself this.

'Can Lily also let me fly? If she hold my chains, I can fly with her.'

So Dream decide to ask.

"Lily, Can you also let me fly? If you hold my chains, We can fly together."

"Wait, I'll ask Gava!"

Dream wait a little bit before get an answer.

"Gava said it's not a problem. So, We can."

Dream let out a little pose that say 'Yes!'. Dream Jumped with all of his power. He even strengthened his legs to further increase his jumping power.

Lily is also flying down a little bit. Dream told Yoga to make the chain go up. Lily caught the end of the chain. Dream slowly ascending toward Lily.

With that, They speed up even faster.

They finally can see the village after another 6 hours of flying.

"Let's go back down. We don't want to expose this to them yet."

Dream suggested. Lily agreed and they went back to the ground and ran to the village.

As they arrived at the Village, They sneak into the village and immediately went to search for the Head of the Village. They have a letter from Elaine so, This process should be easy.

"Really? Then we shall inform the whole village immediately!"

Said the Head of the Village. Dream and Lily got it easy after they show the letter form Elaine to the Head of the Village. Dream and Lily immediately went to an Inn. They don't know how long the Goblin Lord took to get here. So they need to stay here for some time.

"It's nice that Miss Elaine is our support...."

"Yeah. It's so easy using her name to get inside anywhere."

Dream and Lily is in the same room. They were talking about the power of Elaine Name.

"I wonder if in the future we could also be like that..."

"I know we can. If we can defeat the Goblin Lord, We too, Have those kind of power. But, not as good as Miss Elaine is."

Dream said to Lily. Lily immediately chuckled hearing his answer.

"Right. Let's focus on our job here."

They go to the dining room to eat some food. For quite a while, They don't have any clue about the Goblin Lord.

It's been a week since they come to Rizzu. Elaine always contact them to ask for any information. Dream have a hunch that Today is the day where Goblin Lord and his army attack. It's Raining and The sky is dark because of the rain.

Dream felt something wrong in the air. There's a foul stench coming from every direction of the village. Dream also feel a bloodlust coming from the forest.

It is not just Dream who feel like that. Lily also feels something like that. They talk to the Head of the Village to warn them. He called Everyone to evacuate to his house.

"Lily... I guess this is it huh."

"Yup. Today is the day. They probably expect that the rain cover their foul stench. But, They can't cover it from us"

Dream and Lily waited at the front of the gate.

They feel a bunch of gaze coming from the tree along with an intense bloodlust aiming at both of them.

Dream immediately let out more intense bloodlust to fight their bloodlust.

"Lily, The Plan?"

"Let's go all out from the start. I might use my Halberd of Ira and Chains of Acedia skill."

"Alright then. I will also use my Katana of Temperantia and Wings of Caritas."

Even though they were about to fight A lord type monster, They were calm as usual.

People can see them from across the village. They look kind of worried about Dream and Lily. But the persons they worried about doesn't even worried about it.

In their hand, A Halberd and Katana appear. Their clench their hand to grip the weapon.

Goblin, Swarmed toward Dream and Lily. They hold their sword up to while running toward Dream and Lily.

"Now, Let's rock!"

Dream and Lily both simultaneously said the exact same word.
