Chapter 6 “Are you stupid? Do you know who he is?" Shasha asked her. Celeste asked them to stop even though they didn't reach their apartment. "No? Who are they? son of the president?" Celeste wrapped her hand around. She already see it coming. Shasha's expression overall the walking were too bitter that Celeste guessed they were going to argue about it. "Search about him, He is Archie Turner." Shasha gave her phone and Celeste just typed three letters in Google and there were so many questions asked about him. 'Archie Turner and Zina Xavier Scandal.' 'Archie Turner and Heily Maxim.' Archie Turner's current girlfriend.' She clicked his biography and realised he was the CEO of Turner Group and Forbes's top 10 Eligible Bachelor Billionaire. Her eyes widened while reading about him. "You going to die poor." Shasha grabbed her phone and entered her apartment. Celeste continued walking towards her house. She really couldn't believe that person not only saved her but also gave her a ride. Her eyes opened when the sharp sun rays peeked through her window and fell on her eyelids. Celeste slept late in the night and she still needs to rest more. But already She opened her half-closed eyes, thinking she might have forgotten to pull the curtains in the night. Irritatingly, she got up from her bed to pull the curtains and then her eyes wide opened when she noticed that the window in her room was open. She distinctly remembered closing it last night. her eyeballs looking around, seeing that everything was scattered all over the place. Her clothes, Jack's books, their each and everything was spread on the floor. Her brother was still sleeping on the bed. The cupboard was open, and all her belongings were strewn about. Her heart stopped beating just to see that. She saw that everything from her cupboard had fallen to the floor, and the locker was also open. She checked it and found all her savings and gold were missing. Her all senses stopped working at once. She couldn't believe that all the money she had saved with so much effort was gone. She walked into another room and found the same scattered things. The thief must have broken the window to enter. "How did this theft happen? I should have kept the money and gold in the bank," she said, on the verge of tears. She became helpless, she grabbed a phone to call the police. Now only they can help her get her money back. She dialled a number. Just then, the bathroom door opened, and her dad came out. He had been taking a shower. Seeing him, Celeste immediately understood that it was her dad who had stolen the money and gold. She was offended by how her dad found her new place and also broke into her house. "You stole money and gold from my locker again. Why are you doing this Dad? When will you let us live peacefully." Celeste shouted, rushing to grab her dad's shirt that was kept on the chair. But her dad caught her from behind, preventing her from reaching the shirt. His one hand grabbed her throat and the other hand grabbed her hands and twisted it. Celeste was holding herself and her all strength to get her stuff back. "Let go of me, Dad. I had saved that money for Jack's treatment. Jack has a chemotherapy session next month. Where would I get money for him." Celeste cried. She had worked so hard to save that money, but like every time he stole it. Her dad had twisted her arm, causing her significant pain. She was screaming in pain. "You work at a club. You must be making a lot of money. You can even f**k with someone to earn more, and talking about Jack, let him die. He is useless." her dad laughed like a monster. Celeste couldn't believe that a father could say such things to his daughter. When people used to tell her this, she never felt this bad what she was feeling now. "Are you our father?" She asked him, sarcastically. "Do you have any doubt? I raised you both." He asked angrily. Twisted her hands even more. "Yeah, because a real father would never say this to his children." Her voice turned heavy recalling all her childhood trauma's how she was treated hell by her dad. Not even her, even Jack was kept starving for many days by him. "Yeah! I am your father and you have to pay for it." Her father said annoyingly. Celeste's hand reached the table, and she grabbed the shirt, pulling the money out of it. but he gripped her hand. "Dad, please. I'm already troubled by your debt and gambling. How will I get the money for the treatment?" Her dad slapped her and snatched everything from her. He put on the shirt and left. Celeste sat there, crying. As always, she couldn't do anything about it. Her eyes went to Jack who was standing there, watching everything. His eyes were red with anger. She immediately wiped her tears and got up. Jack picked up his hockey stick that had fallen nearby and started leaving after their dad. Celeste quickly stopped him. "Let go of me. I won't spare that man," Jack was furious, blood boiling with rage. "I'll kill him. If I'm going to die, I'll take him down with me," Jack shouted. seemed He was going to kill his father today. "Please, Jack. I swear on my life, let it go," Celeste cried. "If anything happens to him, we both would be orphans. We have no one in the world except him." Celeste told him. She was more worried about Jack than her father. She didn't want her younger brother to spend in the rehab. "It's better to be an orphan rather than have such a father." Jack greeted his teeth. She didn't know what to do. She tried to calm Jack down. "If you go now, you will find your sister dead." She warned him, her words were enough to make him drop his hockey stick down. Irritatingly Jack went back to his room. At Passion Club, Archie and Advocate Chen were having drinks. The waitress came and poured the whisky on them. Archie grabbed the glass and poured the drink into his throat at once. "Hey.. calm calm.." Chen said, lately Archie was enough tense. Perhaps about the transfer of his shares. "The club's revenue has increased significantly this month. You must have gotten a good share," Advocate Chen said, glancing at the crowd. Despite it being a weekday, the club was packed. Teenagers and adults alike had come after finishing their work. Everyone was dancing to the music, and the entire club was filled with smoke; even breathing brought the scent of alcohol to their nostrils. "Yeah, that's true," Archie said, distracted. He kept looking at his watch and glancing over at the bar counter. "Your idea of bringing in some beautiful girls to the bar has worked. People don't refuse alcohol and pay until they go broke," Advocate Chen said. Archie was the 50 per cent partner in the passion club and he gave the idea of hiring beautiful girls with short clothes. Chen noticed that Archie was fidgeting with his watch. "What are you thinking about?" Advocate Chen asked. Maybe he was waiting for Celeste to arrive. "Are you waiting for that girl?" "Yes, before a lion hunts, it lures its prey," Archie said, pulling out a box and opening it in front of Advocate Chen. Inside was a large, beautiful diamond pendant. The white, shiny diamond was surrounded by white gold. Archie’s eyes gleamed as he looked at the pendant. "She's going to love this," he said, his tone filled with anticipation. "You brought it for her?" Chen asked him, and he was shocked. Archie just doesn't speak but he shows. He started luring that girl with his tactics. And this was his first step to impress her. "It won't take her more than a second to fall in love with me. I know such golddigger girls. They are dying to get such gifts. Don't get shocked when you find her on my bed tonight." Archie was so confident about it.
