Chapter 8: Gianna and Harvey

Third POV

Alpha Axel was rushing back and forth. He was more anxious that his mate was in the operating room. His wolf kept howling like a beast and made him haunt the culprit of Zoe's. His heart slowly clenched for what Zoe did for him. He never thought that even though Zoe wanted to run away from him, she still dared to save him. She thinks about him first before herself.

‘s**t! What will happen to her?’ Alpha Axel gritted his teeth and moved towards the chair in front of the operating room.

He accidentally glimpsed at Harvey, who was too busy watching his every move. He sighed.

Harvey couldn't believe that he was witnessing how worried Alpha Axel was. He thought that maybe his son didn't notice that he was falling into his mate, or perhaps, he was too scared that he won't have a chance to get freed from the curse. Zoe was too familiar to him, and it looked like he saw her somewhere else.

“What happened to Luna?” Alpha Axel turned around and saw his lovely little sister, Savannah. He sighed deeply as he tried to remove the worry on his face but failed.

“Someone tried to kill me. But she saved me.” Alpha Axel replied.

Savannah scowled. She never thought that Zoe could sacrifice her life for her brother. She gasped, and her heart began thumping too fast. She knew how powerful Zoe was after she successfully ran away to her grasp. Though she couldn't accept that her brother's mate won over her, she was too proud of her future sister-in-law.

As a woman, Savannah was a fighter, and seeing someone win over her was too privileged for her. Slowly a smile plastered on her lips, which was too odd when Harvey saw it.

“Savannah, you look so happy. Can you tell me what the reason for your happiness is? Is it about the boy? Did you find your mate? Is he good?” Harvey panicked. Seeing his only daughter happy made him think Savannah had finally found her mate. He groaned frustratedly. He was hoping that it was Jake who would find his mate first before his daughter!

“Daddy, what are you talking about? I don't need a man in my life. You're all stressed out for me.” Savannah fretted, and the smile on her lips quickly diminished because of the father. She was at the right age, but Harvey was too overprotective of his only daughter!

“And, then, can you please tell me why you're happy? I don't want to stress out because my daughter was too pleased. If it's not a man, then what's the reason?” Harvey felt more intrigued because Savannah didn't want him to know why she smiled. He scratched his forehead in annoyance.

The truth is, he was scared that Savannah might be found a playboy type of man. Though he wasn't a playboy, he couldn't stop thinking about his only daughter. Kara's shadow, his ex-girlfriend, haunted him.

He didn't play on her feelings because he loved Kara, but he couldn't stop himself from falling for Gianna.

Kara was more ambitious than Gianna. She wanted to be the most powerful witch in the world, and he was supporting her in her dream. But, since the moment that she was trying to push her dream, she changed. She was too moody and always wanted to fight with him.

The lovely Kara she knew was already gone after she was too near to achieving her dream. She wasn't the Kara Johnson he knew anymore because the more power and knowledge she received, the more Kara forgot everything about her.

He still remembered how he caught her flirting with someone, and he tried to forget everything because Kara wasn't aware that he had seen her. But everything changed when he finally saw how good Gianna was, the best friend of Kara.

She cared more about him and always told him to think about Kara. He didn't know that Gianna was his mate at that time. He finally found comfort in Gianna's arms, and whenever he was with Kara, she only scolded him and made him feel useless.

Harvey closed his eyes as he remembered when he realized that he was falling too hard for Gianna. And that was the time when Kara wanted to break up with him because she didn't like a distraction to her dream. Harvey was too hurt when Kara thought that he was just a distraction in her sight. He didn't even bother her, and he endured how they met each other once a month.

“Harvey, I want to break up with you. I don't wish to distract myself because I am in my last step to becoming the most powerful witch in this world. I'm sorry, and I hope that you'll understand me.” Kara crossed her arms. She changed a lot, and Harvey could noticed how powerful she was. She was too obsessed with power, and seeing Kara in a state of her greediness made him unhappy.

“Kara, I don't understand you. I don't even try to bother you. And I'm trying my best to know how busy you are. I don't understand why you thought that I was just a mere distraction in your eyes. I felt that I was your inspiration.” Harvey couldn't stop himself from asking her everything. Though he was falling for Gianna secretly, he was too hurt by what he heard. He never thought Kara was a distraction; he never thought poorly about her.

“This is why I don't want to continue this relationship. You're strangling me, Harvey. I thought that you loved me and would do anything for me. That's what you promised me, Harvey. Have you forgotten about that?” Kara glared at him, and her eyes glowed red in anger.

“I always understand you, Kara. Okay, if that's what you want. I will give this to you! Okay, let's break up.” Kara thought that Harvey wasn't too serious, and she didn't even bother to ask him what he meant. All she felt was Harvey always understood her, and in the end, they will be happy with each other.

She didn't tell Harvey about her plans; she moved too far to study even more about potions and spells. But Harvey found out everything, and he thought that Kara had left him for good. That night, there was a party in their pack, and he was closer to Gianna. He was too attracted to her, but he didn't want to take advantage of her because he knew Gianna was too loyal to Kara.

Harvey drank more as he saw Gianna dancing with a random man. He saw how she smiled at a different man, which made his heart shrink.

He pulled Gianna into his room; he wanted to talk to her because she had avoided him after discovering that he and Kara had broken up.

He never thought they would discover that they were mates, and because of drunkenness, they shared an incredible night. The mate bond was so strong that they found each other moaning about each other's name. He never thought that Gianna was a virgin. He woke up to find that Gianna wasn't beside him anymore.

Gianna wanted him to reject her, but Harvey fell for her too hard. He decided to tell his parents that he had finally found his mate. He knew how happy his parents would be if they discovered Gianna was his mate.

“I won't be happy because of a man, daddy. Please, you're overthinking. Maybe, you need a vacation, and please stop treating me like I'm a child.” Savannah complained. Irritation was too evident on her pretty face.

“Then, tell me who the reason for your smile is. Savannah, if you don't want me to think–”

“Okay, I felt happy because of my brother's mate. I like her already.” Savannah screamed happily; the seriousness on her face was gone whenever she thought about Zoe.

“Hey, she's my mate!” Alpha Axel growled. He felt that Savannah was his ultimate rival. Savannah was too spoiled, especially to him, but he couldn't give his mate to his sister because he needed Zoe to break the curse.

“i***t. What do you think about me? Okay, I like her because she's the only woman who won against me. She's too powerful, so I think she's the key to your curse, Alpha.”

“What do you mean, she's too powerful? She's a wolf, Savannah.”

“I know that she is a wolf, but she has power! That time, before she escaped from our pack house. She used her power to prevent us from moving and tried to stop her.” Savannah's eyes glowed when she told everything to her brother. She never thought that she would ever feel excited like this.

“Do you mean that she stopped you from moving?” Harvey immediately pulled his daughter; he still remembered what Kara had done to them. He still remembered that Kara did that, too, to them. He felt that there was a lump in his throat.

“Yeah, daddy. I'm looking for a woman who can win against me. That's why I like her for my brother. I hope Jake will find a woman like her, aside from his whores.”

“Hey, Savannah! I am here, and I heard everything that you say. How dare you mention my women and call them whores?” Savannah rolled her eyes when she heard Jake's high-pitched voice. She groaned and glared at him.

“I'm telling you the truth. They are all whores. I'm wrong if I lie.” Savannah crossed her arms, and the severeness was more evident on her face.

“Okay, if that's what you think it is. As if I can debate with you.” Jake surrendered too fast. He knew that Savannah was the type who always wanted to win over someone. He would be lost; he knew that.

‘I can't believe that they are all bullying me. Are they my family? Except that I am more handsome than them. Well, I'm more intelligent, so I should hide it.’ Jake thought.

“Huh? You finally realized that you wouldn't win against me, brother. Where's mommy? I didn't even see her.” Savannah looked around, but she didn't see Gianna everywhere.

“She was sleeping. She has been unconscious since she saw Zoe.” Alpha Axel answered. His eyes were all fixed on the operating door. He almost held his breath. He wanted to go inside, but he knew that his father would be mad at him if he continued what he would do. Harvey taught him that even though he was an Alpha, he needed to obey the rules; he was not an exception.

His eyes widened when he saw the pack doctor coming out from the operating room. He moved closer to him, and his heart was thumping too fast.

“Alpha Axel, your mate was alright. We successfully removed the arrow on her back. It looks like her wolf was helping her to heal too fast. Unfortunately, she's been unconscious. I must suggest that she should rest for now. She must avoid a lot of stress. The arrow contaminated a poison. That's why she was unconscious until now.”

Jake and Savannah widened their eyes. They both stared at each other and looked away. At the same time, Alpha Axel was more worried because the doctor didn't even tell him if his mate would still be awake at the right time.

“When will she be awake? Is she in a coma?” Harvey asked. He felt sad that his future daughter-in-law sacrificed for his son.

“I don't think that she will be in a coma. She's a fighter! This is the first time I've seen a wolf get healed too fast. I think she will be awake today.” The doctor bid his goodbye to them when a pack nurse came to him about another patient.

Alpha Axel sighed. He felt relieved that his make was finally alright. But thinking that the arrow was for him made him believe someone wanted him dead.

“I told you all. She's a fighter! Oh, I can't believe that my brother finally found his mate. He's too lucky, except that Zoe was too gorgeous; she wasn't a whore.” Jake groaned when he heard Savannah say the word ‘w***e’ as if she was intentionally letting Jake listen to it.

Alpha Axel groaned when Savannah and Jake started fighting each other. He scratched his forehead at the same time that Harvey was doing too.

Gianna groaned and opened her eyes. She looked at the white ceiling, and the alcoholic fragrance entered her nostrils. She sat on the hospital bed and looked around. She heard that someone was using the shower room.

“Harvey!” Gianna shouted her mate's name. The shower stopped, and Harvey went to the shower room without any clothes on his body. She gasped.

“Why don't you even have a piece of clothing in your body?” Gianna panicked. She tried to avoid her mate even though her wolf kept howling his name. She felt guilty and blamed herself that her son, Axel, had cursed because of her.

Since the moment that she had Harvey's mark, she had never heard that he had a feeling for her. She thought that Harvey just wanted her because of the mate bond. Thinking about the mate bond made her feel unhappy.

“Gianna, we already had children, and you still acted like you didn't even suck my c**k. Did you already forget how it feels when you're holding my c**k? Do you want me to do the honor for you?” Harvey smirked when he saw how his mate blushed. She groaned and glared at him.

“Shut up! I don't care about your c**k. There are a lot of d***s here in this pack.” Gianna grinned when she saw how Harvey's face darkened in anger. She shrieked when Harvey carried her.

“You dared to say that in front of my face. You should be thankful that you're here in this hospital, or you might carry our fourth child.” There was a hint of anger in his voice, and she felt that Harvey was trying not to get mad at her. Her lips trembled, so she bit her lips.

Gianna's heart slowly clenched when she saw that Harvey was mad. A tear gradually formed in her eyes. She kidded. Everything that she said was a joke.

“Hush, you don't need to cry, okay? I'm not mad anymore. I don't want to hear that it's too easy for you to remove me from your life.” She stilled when Harvey hugged her without any clothes on his body. She swallowed when she felt a sudden heat enter her body.

“I-I'm not crying!” She denied. Her tears betrayed her when her tears slowly fell on her cheek. She gulped.

“Yeah, you aren't crying, my Luna,” Harvey whispered. He chuckled a little bit when he found it cute that Gianna was acting like a baby in his eyes.

“Shut up, don't you dare tell this to our children! And, please wear something in your body.” Gianna's voice cracked. She liked how naked Harvey was in front of her but was in the hospital. Jealousy hit her whenever she thought that some nurse had gone in while she was asleep.

“Are you sure that you want me to wear my clothes? I still remember how your mouth watered whenever I was naked.”

“Harvey! Stop teasing me! We're not young anymore.”

“But, you're still the Gianna that I know. Okay, I will tell you this; I know I couldn't be honest since we marked each other. But I want you to know that you aren't the reason why Kara and I broke up. And, if Kara didn't break up with me, I might cheat on her.”

“And why? Okay, I don't know why you waited for twenty-eight years to tell me everything.”

“While I was in the shower, I don't even remember telling you what U felt for you. I'm sorry if I intentionally told my parents that you're my mate. I'm scared that you will reject me, so I think the best solution is to have you. And that's to force you to mate with me.” Gianna blinked when she felt another tear forming in her eyes. She breathed deeply.

“I thought you didn't want me; you're mad at me. I know that my apologies were too late, Gianna.” Harvey added.

“I don't understand what you're going to say, Harvey. I thought you did that because of your parents because they hated Kara for you. I never thought what you told Kara was true because of your actions. I thought you just wanted pups on me.” Gianna was about to lower her head, but Harvey held her chin.

“I felt guilty that because of me, my son had a curse, Gianna. I'm sorry if you thought that way; I didn't mean it. You're always beside me, and all you did was treat me right. And whenever I heard your silent cries, they haunted me. If I stopped myself from falling for you, you wouldn't be unhappy for twenty-eight years.” Harvey murmured.

“You fell in love with me? Wait, I thought it was Kara until now. I don't even hear you tell me that—”

“Gianna, I almost do everything for you in our bed, and you still don't get that I love you until now. I thought that Kara was my end, but it's you.”

“Harvey, if you're telling me this to make my leg spread in front of you, I will punch your balls.”

“Feisty, I like it. However, it hurts that you want to punch my balls. I always recall how you lick my freaking balls whenever you give me a blowjob.”

“Harvey! I can't believe that you're saying that in front of me. We're in the hospital.”

“And we're here, mommy and daddy. It's gross!” Savannah was staring at the wall, while Jake burst into laughter when he looked at his father's nakedness.

“Daddy, we're all aware you loved each other, but please wear something nice.” Jake teased.

Gianna and Harvey were shocked when they saw their children. Gianna laughed when she saw Harvey's face turn red and rushed to the toilet to get his clothes.

“I told you, Jake. We should give them privacy to talk. I can't believe that I saw my father admit his feelings to our mother without his clothes on!” Savannah smacked her brother's head for ruining the sweet moment of their parents. She missed seeing them too precious to each other.

“JAKE CRAY!” Harvey shouted in frustration after he heard that it was Jake's fault that Savannah was here in Gianna's room. He swore that he would pinch his ear once he got him.
