Destination Unknown

Storm They were coming off us. I could feel it, Star felt it, Demon felt it. There was a shift in the air and not a happy one. This shift felt like no other. We had to keep going. Evil was upon us, greedy assholes we’re on our tale wanting what was ours. There was also an Ora like no other one I can’t describe but we were coming close to it. Soon the truth would be revealed and I wasn’t sure if it would be good or not. There are too many wolves on our trail to retell which are good or evil, but they’re approaching us at speed. We have to get the hell out of here even if the destination is unknown. We have to run and run as fast as we can and find refuge safely. “We need to get going Abby, they're close.” “How close?” “Too close for comfort.” “Kids, we have to get going. Now they’re coming.” “Star and Demon are on edge mom, they feel the shift that’s coming.” “Let’s go before they find us. Are you ready to shift? Serenity, Sergo?” “We're ready.” “Ready storm.” “More than ready.” “Shift.” We all shifted, not even shredding our clothing, one of the many luxuries we have being as special as we are. Star, Demon and I stood together. I couldn't be more proud of my pups and what they will become in the future when they rule. We ran through the woods, our large paws crunching the dirt and fallen branches under us. We had no destination in mind, we just knew we needed to run as far away from here as possible. The Rogue King I ran like I'd never run before. I knew there were others in search of Abby. Storm and I never had a connection because those pricks came from the great moon pack. I had no intention of showing them her Wolf but I wanted to show them what they would never have because she had promised herself and her Wolf to me and Xerxes. Xerxes was a dark, rugged red wolf with scars down his face from where we had fought many wolves in our day. There was a reason why I had taken Abby in and it just wasn’t what her Wolf was and what she meant to the Wolf population. She was royalty and those royal pricks were my fall along with the Great Moon Pack. I was cast out of The Great Moon Pack but Abby didn’t need to know that. The royal moon pack had taken me in once upon a time. Though I was a rogue, they knew they wanted a strong Wolf to help them with their brutal takeovers and once I had done as they asked, they threw me out to survive on my own and that’s when I made my own army of rogues who had been banished from their packs or were just lone wolves with no mates. I’d never had the pleasure of a mate. When I saw Abby the first time, I knew she would make me a perfect Luna. Then I found out she was carrying that beta prick's children. Only we knew I didn't even think he did when he, the alpha, gamma and the warriors from the Great Moon pack came for her. They had no idea that she was a very special Wolf. Unfortunately, she slipped away carrying her pups while we were fighting to keep Abby with us. All this time I had been searching for her. I can almost taste her. I sniff the air as we get to the cove where her scent leads us. I command my pack to search for the three wolves that should be there. They come back moments later reporting that no one is in the cove. f**k. That only means one thing they have gone and are running. “You can run but you can’t hide my Luna. I’ll find you and when I do you’ll be mine and reign by my side.” I howled and me and my pack of rogues ran off across the grassland into the forest hoping that she hadn’t masked her scent . Unfortunately for us, her scent dies down the father into the forest we go, f**k she’s masked their sent. We have to keep going. I'm not letting her out of my grip. This time she’s my Luna and is meant to be by my side. Alpha Azazel Mathew and I both looked at one another. I can believe I am looking for that no good for nothing b***h. I was only looking for her because I wanted answers to why I felt like s**t. I don’t give a s**t if she lives or dies, but there was still something burning deep down inside me. There had been a shift in her and I felt the pain she had felt. It was something I’d never felt before, this was different and it was the most excruciating pain I’d ever felt. Beast had felt it, our mate's bond was sethering day by day. But it wasn’t just that I had felt Beast howl in pain, extremely excruciating pain, which could only mean one thing: the loss of a pup. But she couldn’t have been pregnant, could she? If she was and she’d lost my pup, I would have deserved it because I was a complete prick towards the Wolf and human I was supposed to love unconditionally no matter what. But that love had turned into pure hatred over the years. Beast had gone through dramatic changes every time he’d tried to call her Wolf, who’d ignored him for the seventeen years we’d been together. He’d turned cold and calculated he no longer cared if he hurt the she Wolf he was supposed to love and went for every she Wolf just to hurt her and bring her out but it never happened he wanted to see the Wolf of the human who eats my Luna but she denied him maybe f*****g every other she Wolf pushed her Wolf away from him more than he realised. But we were both in the same boat, being one with each other. We’d almost lost one of the boys, which I blamed on her, even if it was me to blame. I’d turned everyone in the pack against her, those that had once looked up to her. Then I manipulated our sons against her and their step-siblings. I was a ruthless and evil son of a b***h but didn’t give a flying f**k if I was hurting the only girl that had loved me and I’d loved her back. f**k, why did I have to f**k everything up? “It’s not just your fault, Azazel. It’s mine too. I should’ve been more patient. She was my mate and my Luna as well as yours and I disrespected that because she had issues south showing herself to me. Instead of getting her to trust me, I made it ten times worse. I knew once I f****d up the first time she’d never put her trust in me, but I kept doing it anyway to f**k with her. I should never have done it. Now we’ve lost the last thing tiring us together. I can feel her slipping away. She’d seathered ties with the pack and rejected us. We have to get to her and make her change her mind about us, make her see she can trust us, then in time she may show us her Wolf.” “Let’s hope so, Beast, let’s hope so.” A howl echoed through the woods, it was sending a warning that they would find whoever they were looking for and if anyone was looking for them they weren’t where they were. “Do you think someone else is looking for Abby?” I asked Mathew. “It wouldn’t surprise me, alpha, there’s plenty you’ve lied to to keep them knowing the truth about her being part of our pack, that howl sounded like a rogue alpha.” “You think the rogue king is searching for her too?” “You lie to him, alpha. He spent time with her and picked up on her scent. He's bound to be searching for her as well as the beta that came to our land.” Fuck. “We have to find her before he does. He muttered something when he left.” “What was that alpha?” “That I didn’t know who she really was.” “Do you think he’s telling the truth?” “I don’t know, but only time will tell Mathew. We have to keep searching. Until we find her.” He nodded and we continued crossing the border with the warriors.
