Since When Do Wolves Purr?

"I want you to tell the guards to lock them up in the s*******r house now!" "B-but A-alpha, w-what about the c-children?" he said in a frightened shaky voice. "I don't care about the f*****g stupid Children! I said lock all of them up in the s*******r house! Now!" you could say that I was beyond pissed right now. "Y-y-yes Al-alpha." Yes, as you all can see I'm a heartless bastard, and I have no shame in admitting that. Those rogues need to be punished for what they have done. My messenger was really starting to get on my last nerves with all his stuttering, and the fear that was oozing from him was making it even harder for me to not snap his neck. I stormed down the hall needing to blow off some steam. Just then Jenny, the packs slut walked up towards me purring and running her hands around my body and looking up at me with lust-filled eyes. "Hey Alpha. Why you so tense? Need some relaxation?" her hands finally reached my member and began massaging it. I grabbed her and pulled her to the empty room and I think you know what happened from there. Let's just say that I emptied out all my anger on her. After I was done with her, I just left like it was nothing and continued with my day. I was currently in my office finishing up some paper work until I got a message. "Alpha the patrol shifts have been changed. Now it's your turn to patrol the border of the Eastern forest." my Beta and Best friend told me through mind-link. Fuck! "Okay I'll be right there in a few minutes." and then I shut him off. I finished with the last folder a then packed it in its right place and headed out. I walked to the forest and shifted into my very big pure-white wolf. And ran towards the border. Now let me tell you a bit about me to kill time. My full name is Tyrone Evans and I'm the Alpha of the Sapphire pack. The biggest and most feared pack. I am six feet and seven inches tall with black hair, grey eyes and couple tattoos on my body. I have been alive on this earth for 20 years and six months. So, anything else you want to know?... Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I don't want a mate. I used to love seeing my parents stare at each other with all that love in their eyes and made me want to have that. But all that went out the window when.... But that's okay because everyone says I don't have one and I have already turned 20 and all wolves finds their mates at 17. I don't understand why some of my pack members do what they do for one person? It doesn't even make sense. I reached the border of the Eastern Forest and began patrolling there. So basically, patrolling is just standing guard at the edge if the border at any position and then change every ten minutes. The territory is like a circle so at the end I have to end up back in the position I first started. Some of you may be wondering that I'm the Alpha so why do I have to patrol as well. Well even though I'm the Alpha doesn't mean that I have to make my pack members do all my work for me. As Alpha I have to set an example. NELLY'S POV I just finished unpacking my things and my room was looking amazing. The walls were a light purple color and it was huge. I had nothing to do so I just sat on the bench below my window staring at the forest, admiring its beauty. Suddenly and idea came to my mind as I ran down stairs and put on my shoes on my feet. I sprinted towards the entrance of the forest slowing down as the fallen branches and twigs lied in the path planning to trip me. I finally reached a clearing in the forest with one large tree which looked really old. I sat down and leaned against the tree with my eyes closed and ran my hands through the mossy ground enjoying the feeling. It was all peaceful and quiet with only the whistling breeze blowing through the leaves on the ancient tree. You know that feeling where you feel like there's another presence near you? Well that's how I'm feeling at the moment. It was really starting to creep me out. But I didn't want to leave yet. I climbed up on the tree and sat on the third overhanging branch I found, and sat on it where I felt safer because I was a good height from the ground. Yeah you can say I have thing with trees. The bark underneath my hands felt different and out of curiosity I looked. My breath hitched in my throat as I saw what it was. It was C+R inside of three, what I assumed they were, claw marks that made it look like a heart with two rings around it. It was beautiful but I wondered whose names the letters represented. The snap of a twig brought me back as my heartbeat quickened and I stood up on the branch hugging the trunk. I heard the sound of crumbling leaves coming louder and louder as the creature came closer. I was scared and shaking as I tried to get higher up the tree. My feet slipped up on the moss-filled branch and soon found myself falling backwards to the ground. My brain thought fast and my hands reach out to the nearest thing I could find which luckily happened to be another branch, one which was closest to the ground. At this time, I was hanging from the tree like Tarzan. I just jumped down and turned to go back to the house until something stopped me dead in my tracks. A really huge white wolf was standing there looking intently at me. It made no move to come closer and showed no signs that it was going to attack me. If it wasn't for the fact that it was breathing heavily, I would've thought it was a statue. For some ridiculous reason its aura made me feel safe and warm and fuzzy inside. I looked at its eyes and they were surprisingly grey like a human's. I slowly walked towards it; arms outstretched showing it that I didn't mean any harm. I reached it and placed my hands on its head to pet it but it shocked me. What the f-- I just pulled back my hands, while the wolf jumped back a bit. It wasn't a bad feeling but a good one that left tingles still on the hand where I touched it and weirdly, it left me wanting more. Now I guess I'm officially crazy. I reached out to put my hands on its head again this time prepared for the shocking feeling. I wasn't as surprised as before. I began running my hands through its fur and it responded to me by purring and closing its eyes while leaning against my touch. Since when do wolves purr? Huh. The sight brought a big grin to my face and I sat back on the ground and the wolf laid down on me with half of its body covering mine as if it was protecting its territory. Its paws were tucked under its head which rested between my stomach and thigh. We just sat there; me petting the wolf and it purring under my touch. It was weird that it purred like a cat, but it was calming nonetheless.
