Austin’s POV
“Emily,” I sighed in relief and without thinking pulled her towards me in a hug.
“Thank God, you’re safe,” I muttered pressing tiny kisses on her hair.
“Let go,” her voice sounded muffled as she began to kick and hit my back.
“Calm down hotshot,” I released her and raised my hands in submission.
“What is wrong with you? Where you trying to suffocate me?” she shook her fist angrily at me.
“I am sorry, I was just overwhelmed with happiness to see you. I thought you’d be in danger,” I explained.
“Danger?” she narrowed her eyes “What have you done this time around?”.
“Me?” I scoffed in unbelieve “I am in trouble because I saved your career and this is all the thanks I get? Shouting down at me,”.
“I-I don’t understand,” she muttered “Are you in some kind of trouble?” h
