Zion Xavier pov:

“don’t you dare Casey. Don’t you dare poke your nose in my matter”, I warned her and tried to not to yell at her for her stupid behavior.

“when did Aurora became your matter?. Don’t kid around. I should go and plan that date well”, saying .that Casey stood up and went to open the office room door.

“She became my matter when I first laid my eyes on her. She is MINE. AURORA IS MY MATE”, I yelled at Casey who only grinned from ear to ear instead of being shocked.

I thought back to the time, on

how I meet Aurora for the first time in the meadow and how I brought her back to the night howlers pack.

After I yelled out the secret, that Aurora was my mate, which I was hiding till now, I moved and stood in front of the window.

I blinked my eyes and looked at the forest outside through the window in my office room.

I decided to tell the truth about that girl to my family.

“yes… . What you guys were thinking was really right. That girl is my mate “, I broke the news and said in a tone that made them all doubt the words that I had said just now.

Because I literally said that I found my mate, the one for whom all the werewolf teens yearns for since they turn 18 years of age, as if telling them that I found a normal advertisement pamphlet. I turned to look at their reactions on my big revelation.

“what!!!??? “, Clint yelled in shock while Kevin slipped from his spot in the couch.

Zander looked taken aback with a confused look on his face while Casey squealed happily and started jumping on her toes like a happy little bunny.

“I told you so, you knuckleheads. But you didn’t believe in my words. My love indicating radar was spot on as always and predicted it correctly”, Casey said proudly with a bright smile on her face.

“then why are you not making it public. Why are you behaving as if you are not her mate? . Are you trying to reject her or what“, casey asked questions continuously.

“never…. I am not going to reject her. I am just thinking. Because she does not act like she knows that I am her mate “, I said my doubt out loud.

“It must me because she must be still under age and didn’t reach her 18th birth day, you dumb guy”, Clint said in a know it all tone.

“ yes it might be the reason brother. Look at her. She really looks too young. She must be still under age”, Zander said positively.

“But what if she was faking it. Like she knows that I am her mate and that she doesn’t want me as her mate”, I said the things that ran through my mind.

“Why the hell are you spouting non sense like that “, Casey asked both in confusion and annoyance at my words. I won’t blame her though.

“She must have heard the rumors about me. About how cruel I am. That I am a monster. She must have thought that she didn’t want a monster as me as her mate”, I said in a low spirit.

"No... I don't think so... Aurora does not look like a girl who would believe all those stupid rumors and didn't want you as her mate", Casey vouched for Aurora as usual…

I don’t know what is it with casey and Aurora… it’s like they have an invisible bond between them.

From the very start, Casey was the one who supported and believed in Aurora blindly…Maybe Casey must have felt the luna bond with Aurora. But I am not sure though.

“I too second that. Based on her character and the way she behaves with the kids in the pack and how she cherishes her relationship with Casey and Zara, she is not the type to reject or does not acknowledge her mate bond”, Clint said seriously.

“there must be a reason for her not acknowledging the mate bond and accepting you as her mate. Or like the most possible reason, she must be under the mating age “, Kevin said meaningfully.

I sighed hearing all these things. But at the same time felt a little bit more relaxed and stress free as I have told my family about Aurora being my mate.

“And don’t you dare think of yourself as a monster.. Those are baseless and stupid rumours spread by those spineless wolves who hates our pack and your guts. And most definitely I know for sure that Aurora doesn’think of you as a monster and she must have known that fact. Because you are the one who savee her from that rogue and even allowed her stay in our pack. She respects you for treating her good “, Casey said in a resolute tone, making me to breath a sigh of relief secretly.

***My mate, Aurora does not hate me and on the contrary she respects me, I thought.

“Then what was the reason she acts like that??? “, Zander asked cluelessly and a little bit curiousness shone in his eyes.

“Let me talk to her this and find out what the reason was”, Casey said making me anxious all of a sudden.

What if Casey asks something to Aurora and in turn she feels offended or pressured and wanted to leave from here…

What of she runs off without saying anything and leaves away from me forever???.

All these questions made me nervous and I immediately stopped Casey.

“No..no one should ask or tell about this to Aurora and anybody else for that matter.. Especially to Zara… that girl never listen and she can’t keep a secret “, I said in a ordering tone, so that they would realize the seriousness of it.

“And more importantly, she must have been scared of me…. After knowing the real truth about me “, I said in a dejected voice, not wanting to continue this topic further.

“Not a word to anyone.. Now please excuse me”, I said making everyone to leave the Alpha office.
