Third person Pov:

Aurora thought that her life was filled with so much darkness, without even any sense of light, or little warmth in it with endless agony, and tortures in all the sense.

She ran aimlessly into the forest, for the Moon Goddess knows how long, before she could take a little break from her aimless running. That too, which she did not took it voluntarily, on her wish.

It turned out to be an accident.

Aurora missed to see in front of her clearly, and stumbled upon a protruding root of a big tree in her haste running mode, that was above the ground surface, and stumbled on it pathetically.

Due to her fast, and aimless running without any clear focus in her eyes, the moment she stumbled on the protruding root of the tree, she lost her full balance, and fell on the ground, face first.

With her face kissing the moist ground of the forest, due to the misty fog accumulated in the chilly air of the night time.

The left side of her face was touching the ground, because of her fall, and only one side of it was still touching the moist forest floor, as she kept her face in sideways. She lied down on the ground, just like how she fell at first, without making any extra movements, as she was totally numb to her surroundings, and pain.

She looked ahead without any solid focus in her tired, and misty eyes, and the endless tears that had already formed in her eyes, flowed freely like a water, that comes out of a faucet, while making a long trail on its way, on her face, and dropped on the ground one by one, like the drops of the rain.

She really didn’t know whether the tears, that was coming out of her eyes right now, was due to the fact that she fell down, and got hurt, or due to the painful scene, she saw before fleeing from the engagement party venue.

The scene, where Chance Gary, the future Gamma of the Violet moon pack, getting engaged, and kissing her elder sister Andrea, in front of her eyes, played in her mind like a broken video recorder.

That terrible memory from that dreadful day, which made her entire life to be collapsed like a house build with the help of the deck of cards, made her to feel worse, pinching her heart, and twisting it so painfully something deep within her heart, making it more, and more unbearable for Aurora, that she felt immense pain, even from thinking about it.

She cried unconsciously, due to the emotional pain she felt that day, and remembered the period of time, when her elder sister Andrea came skipping on her feet happily, saying that she was going to have to arrange her engagement party very soon.

And that she did not have enough time to do everything in such a short period of time, a few weeks before, in the dinning room of the pack house.

Hearing her elder sister Andrea announcing about the proposal of marriage she got, both their father William Bentick, and their brother Sebastian broke out in joy, and embraced her elder sister Andrea happily, wishing her best of all the wishes.

The pure form of happiness, that Aurora had never saw on their faces, when they talk about her, or anything that had related to, or do with her. Well, not even in front of her face.

And Aurora knows that cruel true fact very well, that it was the same routine to them, even when she was present in that place, they would not smile on mentioning her name, or anything that was related to her.

Aurora remembered how Chance Gary, proposed to her elder sister Andrea, in front of the whole Violet Moon pack, on that day.

Chance Gary took one knee, and knelt on the ground before her elder sister Andrea, in front of the whole violet moon pack, and confessed his feelings for her elder sister, and asked Andrea to marry him.

Everyone who were present there, and was the witness to that scene praised Chance Gary, and every teenage girls in the pack gushed happily, that it was every girl’s dream to be asked like that to marry.

A romantic and lovely marriage proposal from their beloved one, or their mate.

Even then, Aurora felt sad, and a little bit of a pain, in the inner most corner of her heart, as she had always had a crush on Chance Gary, since her childhood days.

Andrea, her elder sister even proudly said that Chance Gary was her destined mate, in front of the whole Violet moon pack.

Hearing her elder sister say that, Aurora thought that it was a cruel play by the fate, that even her childhood crush, which she was keeping it like a deadly secret, had to come to an end, real soon, and more so, the guy of her childhood crush happened to be her elder sister’s mate, and her future brother in law.

Aurora thought, and felt that whatever she desires, or loves the most, with her whole heart, they were always snatched away from her, in the most brutal way possible.

First, it was her beloved mother, Luna Lily. Then her loving father, elder brother Sebastian, and elder sister Andrea.

Followed by that, the whole of the Violet moon pack, which once loved, and cherished her the most, and she did the same.

Now everything was changed. Nothing remains, or happens like it was in the past, other than the memory of her past life.

But now everything was like a distant memory, or like a warm mid spring night’s dream, vanishing into the thin air, without leaving behind any trace of its existence, in the first place.

But all that had had happened that day, gave a nagging feeling to Aurora, but she brushed it off, and labelled it as a childhood crush disorder.

But now, it didn’t make any sense to Aurora. The fact that Chance Gary, and her Elder sister Andrea were mates. Because it was not possible at all.

As Aurora clearly could sense the scent of his smell, and could tell for 100 per cent sure that Chance Gary was her mate.

Then what the hell in the f*****g trouble, meant When Andrea claimed, and announced that Chance Gary was her mate in front of the whole pack.

Aurora was totally confused, and could not make an sense in her mind, as to how both she, and her elder sister Andrea can get the same person as their mate. This type of situation was unheard of in the werewolf society.

And what was confusing even more so to Aurora, was the fact, that Chance Gary was elder to her by a few years, and if she was right that Chance Gary was her mate, then Chance would have known already that she was his mate, a long time ago. He should have mentioned it to her, as she was his mate a long time ago. But nothing like that had ever happened before.

All these unanswered, and mysterious questions made Aurora to have a head splitting killer headache, as if someone was banging her head hard, on a rough rock surface.

But one thing for sure, was that Aurora clearly knows in her heart, and feels that Chance Gary was her mate. As her inner wolf had identified him as her mate, and all the senses of hers were calling out to him endlessly.

Aurora had heard before, from the other mated pairs of couple, and all those gossip teenagers talk about how finding their mate would be like.

Like they had said, she was clearly able to sense his alluring scent separately from the other pack members, and his delicious, and distinct scent alone was making her go crazy.

And moreover after her 18th birthday day, when ever she had made eye contact with him, she felt it deep within her, the connection of the Mate bond between them.

And more importantly, Aurora clearly saw that when Chance Gary made eye contact with her, he was smirking like he has known something already, that she doesn’t know, while kissing her elder sister Andrea.

Not able to clear her confusion, Aurora felt like an ant on a hot pan on the stove.

Grilled with endless questions, without any way of finding out the answers for her disturbing, and mysterious questions, that seems to be endless, without any end to it.

Which ever direction her mind went in search of an escape from her miserable life, to get hold of a reasonable answer for her mysterious, and endless questions, Every damn time, she ended up in a dead end, like always, resulting in endless worry, and pain to her weeping heart.

After an unknown period of time in the silence, that surrounded her was disturbed, and the serene atmosphere was disturbed.
