A Tale of Three Lunas-Completed

Chapter 16

Zinnia's POV

"Whoa, stinky boy, feels like you made a big mess!"

Baby Carlani and I rush back to the nursery. I was walking with him around the castle when suddenly I felt a little explosion by my arm. He is four months now and I am his primary infant nanny.

Everyone has been so generous to and with me since Leilani told the story of my helping her that day in the forest. The second day I was here, I was sworn in as an official member of the New Moon Pack.

Everett, Roman and I have become friends since I see them often around the castle and they ask me to tell them more stories about my pack. After our initial meeting, I recreated for them the traps that I had made when I was at the WMP as an act of goodwill. We have even hung out a few times and they're good people. Everett recently found his mate, so we don't hang out as much now. Leilani's mother, the Queen, even suggested that when the baby is old enough, I work in the hospital nursery.

I love my life. I just turned 18 and I work six days a week while Carlani's parents are here, but the pay is very generous and I get surprise days off every now and then.

I hate to admit it because I work for him, but I just love the little guy. He has grown so much and he is so social. Right now I have no time away from him because since he is four months old, his parents decided that now is the perfect time for them to go on a two week vacation out of the country. I don't understand it, but it is none of my business how these rich people take care of their kids.

I'm just happy to spend time with this baby boy. Working with Leilani hasn't been bad. She is a first time mother so she doesn't know everything. We have a good rapport and she has arranged for breast milk to be donated while she is gone.

Once I finish bathing the baby, I put him on the changing table that I have in my room and dress him up. He is supposed to spend the day with his uncle Kaipo, the Alpha Prince, but the Prince told me that if his door is closed, don't knock because he might be in an important meeting. I just have to go up there and see if the door is open. If he wants the baby later, he will have someone get in contact with me. The Alpha Prince is great and I'm sure he'll make a great King. His inauguration is in a few days and I have been invited to go there as Carlani's nanny.

I get out of the stairwell with the baby and his baby bag and go toward the Alpha Prince's office. If he's busy, I'll bring him to the King and Queen. They are always happy to spend time with him and they are never busy.

My wolf stirs when I am suddenly overtaken by a smell I could swear I came across before. A scent that is positively...

'Delightful.'

It seems to be coming from the coat room. I follow the scent and see that there is only one coat hanging there my itself. I get closer and bury my face into the fur.

'Intoxicating.'

I've definitely smelled this before. I honestly don't know what comes over me, but I take it. I've never stolen anything in my life, but I need more. I hide it, then go check if Kaipo's office door is open. It's not, so I take the coat, the baby and the bag and go back to my room.

After I drop Carlani off with his grandparents, I make my way back to my room.

I walk over to the bed, where I had lain down the coat and give it one more good whiff.

Xena presents herself in my head and flashes dirty images of me and the coat in my mind.

Weird. She's never done that before and it's just an object, it's a coat.

I know I should scold her, but the weird images appeal to me.

I lay the coat flat down on my bed before I begin to undress. Something is driving me, something I have never felt. Before when I felt anything s****l, it was just to please Shawn, not myself. Now, nothing can stop me from rubbing my naked body on this fur for my own pleasure.

I lay face down in the middle of it and just enjoy the feeling of the soft fur on my body. I nuzzle my face into the scent of it, feeling energized and calm at the same time. I run my chest on it and feel the silky texture on my n*****s. I notice the moisture that has formed between my legs and sink into the bed, trying to calm myself down.

I wrap myself in the coat and fall asleep, but I am woken up by a knock on my door. I quickly get dressed and open it up. I take Carlani and prepare him for bed. Once he's down, I take a long bath and get dressed for bed. I cuddle myself into the coat and fall back asleep.

"Zinnia?"

Its daybreak and I'm startled out of my sleep by Brendi, another nanny. I always lock my door at night with Carlani here, so how is she in here? I immediately look over to his bed and see him still sound asleep. Relief washes over me.

"What happened?"

"I came to relieve you and saw that your doorknob had been crushed."

What? Crushed? I go over to my door and see the knob completely obliterated.

"Does this qualify as a crime, or was it an accident?"

"I'm not sure, but I already reported it to security. I was told to let you know you have a meeting today. You should meet the Beta at nine by his office."

I haven't met with Everett in his office since I first got here. I wonder what's going on. What could possibility be the reason?

While Brendi is caring for the baby, I slide the coat off of my bed and hide it in my closet. Yes, I did steal it and it was wrong, but I couldn't stop myself and it's too late to turn myself in now.
