I am officially the new Luna of the pack and I could not be happier with James. We had the Luna ceremony and the pack accepted me as their Luna, well all except one person that person was Sam. Sam`s POV:

"Hey it`s me we need to meet up." I said to her.

"Okay, when and where?" The female voice said.

"Today, at your house." I said to her.

"Okay be here in ten minutes." She said to me.

I hung up the phone sliding it in my pocket, I left my house to go to her house. I walked over to her house and knocked on her door and waited for her to answer. "How did the hospital situation go?" She added.

"It went well his brother passed away, of course you know about his mother that passed as well." I say to her.

"Okay he is not going to care about his father because he was abused by him, and so was his mother and brother. So we have taken care of everyone he cares about it sounds like." She says to me.

"Well everyone except this Alisha girl then everyone will be taken care of." I say with a smile on my face.

"In due time I will think of something, and it will be handled." She said reassuring me.

We had talked all day and basically all night long by time I was getting ready to leave her house it was going on midnight. Right before I left my phone dinged, I pulled it out it was a message from a friend of mine with in the pack.

Anger surged through me and it was evident on my face as I stared at my phone, when her voice broke me out of my trance.

"Sam what is wrong?" She asked.

"The Alpha has found his mate and they have already marked each other." I said to her.

She was irritated but not angry about it, we both sat there silent for a few minutes before she finally spoke up.

"We can still make this work." She said after a few minutes of silence.

"How?" I asked her confused.

"Leave it to me, now go home and get some sleep leave me alone to plan." She said to me.

I got up and gave her a hug, as I was walking to the door something in me was wondering why she was helping me so much to get a guy I was meant to be with but wanted to be with. I stopped at the door and turned around and looked at her.

"Why are you helping me so much with this?" I asked her.

"Why? Because your my best friend I want you happy but also because he is my brother and I want him to suffer the way I suffered all those years." She said with an evil smirk on her face and determination in her eyes.
