*Mateo’s POV* Hearing her please just tugged at my heart. I turned around and slowly shook my head. “I’m sorry, Principessa, but now more than ever, I can’t let you go.” I told her. “Why?” She asked me, still not looking at me. She was just lying in bed, giving me her back. “I don’t understand.” She said. “I know.” I replied. “Whenever you feel up to it, we can talk,” I told her, but she didn’t respond. She just sobbed. I just wanted to go over there, bring her to my chest and kiss her tears away as I hugged her tightly, reassuring her that everything would be all right, but I knew I couldn’t. So with that, I left her room. Walking back to my office, Aiden was still there. “Where did you go?” Aiden asked me with his brows furrowed. “I went to check on Aria.” I replied, not giving him any more information. “We should be getting ready. Tarantino warned us of war, and we haven’t moved a finger.” I told Aiden. Trying to get him out of my office, I needed to think of what I was doing and what I would do. “You are right; let me go ahead and get everyone gathered and change some stuff around.” He replied, standing from the chair. “Any updates on the shipment?” I asked him just as he was going to turn around and leave the office. “I have gathered information on who signed the shipment when it left the warehouse. I am waiting for the information on who received it. I should have it within 30 minutes.” He replied. “Let me know as soon as you have it.” I replied. “Aiden.” I called him back before he left my office. “Si Capo?” He replied. “Make sure that Layla is safe if Tarantino wants to get back at us for not willingly giving Aria to him. He will look at any weak links we might have, including her.” I told him. He didn’t have to reply to me to know that the gears in his brain were running one hundred miles per hour. *Aria’s POV* After Mateo left my room, he failed to lock the door. I gave it a couple of minutes and decided to try. I had to try to get out of here. I got up from the bed and walked over to the door. I placed my hand on the handle and moved it, seeing how it opened up. I let out the breath I didn’t know I was holding and slowly peeked my head out into the hallway, noticing that no one was in sight. I slowly left the room, making sure to close the door on my way out. I looked everywhere as I walked, I turned my head to look behind me, then to the sides, and just as I was going to look back, I bumped into someone. “Fūck! Why is it that I have to keep on bumping into people?” I thought to myself. “Merda!” (Italian for Shīt!) I yelled as I closed my eyes, thinking that maybe it was just a figment of my imagination. “Where do you think you’re going?” Replied a voice I had not heard before. I quickly looked up and noticed a huge man, wearing all black. I saw the Glock placed in the holster of his pants and gulped. “I am sure I just tinkled a little bit.” I thought to myself since I was scared shītless. “I’m sorry, but I am just…. looking for the kitchen.” I lied. The man sized me, trying to see if I was lying. Thankfully he did not notice, and he replied. “Come on; I’ll show you.” in a husky voice. “Oh, shīt! I am not good at lying because I always get caught! I am so fūcked now.” “My name is Levi.” The man who looked like he was a bodybuilder told me. “I'd tell you my name, but I’m sure you already know it, being that your boss kidnapped me.” I snapped back as the bodybuilder smirked. “What? You don’t think it’s true?” I snapped back. “I can’t deny or confirm, miss.” He told me. I rolled my eyes at him and continued walking to where the ‘Kitchen’ was supposed to be. *Beau’s POV* “He does have a girlfriend. It seems they have been dating for about three years.” Kai states. “Get me her information.” I replied. … I was sitting in my office, going over the lists and papers that Kai brought me when he waltzed right in. “Credo di averti avvertito di bussare alla mia porta prima di entrare.” (Italian for, I believe I have warned you to knock on my door before coming in.) I told Kai, not even looking up from the documents I was reading. “Scusa Capo.” (Italian for Sorry, Capo.) He replied, noticing that he had yet another manila envelope in his hands. “Consegnamelo.” (Italian for Hand it over to me.) I told him as I stretched out my hand for the envelope. “What do you have here?” I asked him as I began opening the envelope. “It’s all the information on Aiden's girlfriend, where she lives and works.” He told me with a slight grin. I nodded as I looked over at the information. “This information is good.” I thought to myself. “Get everything ready. We are going to make a move.” I told Kai as I stood from the desk. “Si, Capo.” He replied, leaving my office. I moved from my desk toward my safe to grab the guns I would take on this field trip. Hopefully, I won’t have to use them, and the little bītch came willingly. Once I had the guns loaded and ready, I began heading downstairs. There were three black SUVs parked out front, already waiting for me. I saw Kai standing in the middle one as he waited for me to get in. Once I got in and closed the door, we began leaving my estate. “Where to?” Jaxon asked as he looked at me through the rearview mirror. “Ms. Conti’s residence.” I answered back as he nodded. I grabbed the manila envelope once again and began looking at her pictures. She is quite a pretty girl with blonde hair, blue eyes, and a slender body. “I might just keep her, just for me.” I thought to myself.
