Chapter 3

*Beau’s POV* Thinking back to Aria’s picture and how my number one girl sucked me off had me at half-mast all over again. She was nowhere near as beautiful as Aria, but she had the blonde hair that I loved so much; after all, you couldn’t tell the difference once she had my cōck in her throat. Rolling off the bed, I walked over to the restroom to take the quickest shower of my life. Time wasn’t on my side, and I hoped that Kai had the plans and ideas on how to get rid of Lombardi and get to the girl. If he didn’t, I had a trick up my sleeve. Walking into my office, I pulled my cellphone from my pocket, dialed Kai’s number, and demanded he come to my office. He was a brute for not waiting for me with the information I had already requested. Hearing the faintest knock on the door, I yelled, “Come in!” while sitting on the chair behind my desk. Kai walked in with a manila folder in hand. “Morning Capo, here you have information on Lombardi. I was able to gather quite a lot.” He informed me. “Okay, what do we have here?” I asked him, looking at the manilla envelope he was trying to hand me. Did he expect me to know what these lists were? I looked up at him to see if he would start fūcking talking. One raise of an eyebrow, and he finally got the hint. “You have shipment details, his financial details, pictures of his property, security detail schedules, and the people he considers family.” Kai explained. “Good job.” I replied with amusement. He might be big and bad, but he didn’t seem to have the brains there. So I was a bit surprised he was able to gather so much. “Who is this guy?” I asked Kai, pointing at a picture of a man. “That is Aiden, his consigliere. Since they were teens, they have known each other but became closer once Lombardi's parents died.” Kai explained. “Does this Aiden guy have any family?” I asked Kai intrigued. He shook his head. “He does have a girlfriend. It seems they have been dating for about three years.” Kai states. Well, that piqued my interest. “Get me her information.” I replied. What kind of i***t had a girlfriend and did not have her living with him on the estate under his protection? *Aria’s POV* I was dumbfounded. Mateo, or whatever this guy’s name was, is telling me that my dad owes him money and that he just gave me up as a means of p*****t. As soon as we arrived at the estate that he calls home but to me is the size of a castle, he dragged me out of the car and threw me over his shoulder as if I was a ragdoll. Once inside the house, he went up the stairs two at a time, only stopping at the door to what I assume is a bedroom—dumping me on the bed. He stared at me for a minute before walking out of the room and locking the door. That is when my heart wanted to come out of my chest. I began to hyperventilate. My brain and heart caught up to me and noticed that we were in deep shīt. I stood up from the bed and ran toward the door, pulling on the handle to open it but nothing. I began banging on the door and screaming for them to let me out, but again nothing. Knowing that my screams and bangings on the door were falling on death’s ears, I slid down the door to the floor and began sobbing. I didn’t understand what the fūck was going on. I didn’t know where I was at. I didn’t know who this guy was. I just didn’t know anything, and the unknown is killing me right now. I missed my mom, brothers, and that asšhole of my father. I have been sitting on this floor for about two hours. My eyes were burning from the crying, and I felt as if I had no more tears left in me; instead of getting up and lying on the bed, I scooted over to the corner of the door and rested my head on the wall, falling into a deep sleep. I woke up when my asš cheeks became numb from sitting on the hard floor. I got up from the floor, rubbing my behind then began opening doors until I found the one I was looking for, the bathroom. Walking in, my eyes diverted to the mirror. My eyes were swollen, my nose was red, and I looked like a disaster. Not caring, I opened the faucet in the sink, placed my hands under the stream of water, washed my face, and headed back to the room. Exiting the bathroom, I glanced at the clock on the nightstand, and it read 4:15 AM. I decided to lie on the bed, not having anything else better to do. When my head touched the pillows, I fell into a deep slumber. I just hoped that this would be a nightmare when I woke up. *Mateo’s POV* Once the fūcker of Tarantino ended the call, I slammed my phone on the desk. If this i***t thinks he will get his filthy hands on Aria. He is fūcking mistaken. That girl did something to me, what was it? I have no fūcking clue, but I was willing to find out. I won’t give her up. He would have to kill me. Anyone who dared to take her away from me will have to kill me. Her sassiness is something that I already like—just thinking about how I had to throw her over my shoulder last night when we arrived because she would not have it. The knocking on my office door brought me back from my thoughts of her last night. “Come in!” I yelled, and Aiden came in holding a cup of coffee. “Good Morning. I was going to call you just now. Tarantino called me last night. Where is my cup of coffee, asšhole?” I asked Aiden while smirking. “Ha! You know… you have two legs for a reason?! And what does that bastard want?” He asked me between laughs. “Well, first of all, keep in mind I owe him some money. What’s going on with those shipments? I want to get him off my back ASAP.” I asked Aiden. “Right. I’ll look into that as soon as we finish up here.” He replied, getting all serious now. “The main reason for his call wasn’t the money I owed him. It was to tell me that he was coming for Aria.” I told him with clenched fists. “Okay, and? What’s the problem?” Aiden asked me. Aiden knew I didn’t date, and he knew I would never get attached, so having me tell him how he’s coming for Aria was out of the question was baffling for him. “What do you mean, ‘what’s the problem’?” I yelled at him. “Whoa, Capo, relax. Is there something I should know?” Aiden asked me with brows furrowed. “No.” I replied while shaking my head. Not being able to tell Aiden what was going on in my mind, I stood up and exited my office, heading to Arias's room. I took a deep breath before I unlocked her bedroom door and walked in to find her fast asleep on the bed. She didn’t even bother to cover herself up and was still in yesterday's clothes. I walked around the bed and looked at her. You can see that her face was still a bit red from crying from all the crying she did during the night. Knowing I couldn’t touch her, I turned around and headed towards the door. Just as I grabbed the handle to the door, I heard her faint words leave her mouth. “Please, just let me go.” She begged me as she sobbed.
