Alexa’s pov
All my life I have known what I wanted to be. I wanted to be a lawyer.
So, when I was hired to be a legal assistant by the top law firm, I was ecstatic. This is the place to be if you want to be a successful lawyer. The only problem? I have a major crush on one of my bosses.
Jacob hired me to be his legal assistant since his father took time off to care for his wife that is very ill. So, I am always around Jacob. I find myself just staring at him. I need to get a hold of myself, or else I will lose this amazing job.
Besides a man like Jacob is probably with some Victoria Secret’s model. He would never go for someone as plain as me. I have never been one of the “beautiful” girls. I was always overlooked. One of the fat forgotten girls no one wanted.
