I walked out of my house after putting my daughter to sleep. She was getting worse, and it was apparent her sickness was going to end up killing her. This wasn’t the life I wanted for Ashley at all. None of the doctors in The Dragon Kingdom could help her. We didn’t have the right medication, so I needed to do something risky.
I pulled my hood over my head and walked out of The Dragon Kingdom into the forest. I liked our forest, even with all the goblins, ogres, trolls, and more. Basically, whatever creature the elves didn’t want to deal with they pushed them into our forest, The Dragon Forest. After a while of walking, I crossed the border into The Enchanted Forest.
Yes, I was forbidden to cross into the elves’ forest, but as long as I avoided guards on patrol
