If the devil had to have a face, Leonardo would be a perfect fit for it. Especially the way his dark eyes glinted as he stared back at me. Not only was there appreciation in them, but something else too. Something more dark, more heady...something that made everything inside me coil, made my mouth go dry and brought about an innate change in my breathing. Just by looking at him.
"A little something, my way," Leonardo murmured, his voice sounding smooth like velvet. "Don't freak out, yet,"
Freak out? What was he going to do that could freak me out? I don't trust him. Especially with that devilish look in his eyes. And why was he wearing black? He should be thoroughly banned from wearing black. I watched as he pulled out something shiny from his pocket.
