**Luca POV** I am sitting at this meeting of the country's most Elite Vamp Society, and all I can think of is that night with Kaia. I was anything but gentle, but it didn't matter. I gave her my mark, my venom is now coursing through her veins. She is mine! I hadn't gone back to her room since, although everything in my body wanted to. She hates me. I don't think anything will change that. I took her from her home, her family, her whole life. Then, for my own selfish needs, I forced myself on her and marked her. Hoping that my venom was strong enough to overpower her wolf, making her fully a vampire. Unfortunately, it only half took, and she became something more. Something more powerful, stronger. She turned into a form of both her world and mine. A hybrid, far more dangerous than any Werewolf or Vampire combined. She will make a powerful leader of my army. As the meeting comes to an end, I decide I am going to go to her. Explain my actions, and hopefully get her to understand that I can't live without her. Inform her that she is now Queen of the Vampires, and she is staying here, whether she likes it or not. I quickly moved from my seat and headed towards the door, "MASTER!!" a voice from behind me called. "Master, come quickly. Mistress Kaia is gone." I turned to see Vacile and I could feel my cold skin start to boil. "What do you mean she's gone?? She was locked in her room, and forbidden to leave!" Vacile, looking like he was about to have a heart attack, says "I went to get her get the sustenance you requested, and when I got to the room to deliver it, the door was open and she was gone." In a rage, I stormed up the stairs to her room. Her scent was almost non-existent. How long had she been gone? Days? hours? Who of my faithful would have aided in her escape? My mind is swirling with so many scenarios. The feeling of fury and panic overruled my ability to think clearly. I turned to Vacile, "Gather Gunther, Tobias, Jillian, Ross and Eve and bring them to my office. Inform them that this is not a request but mandatory.", and I left her room for my office. Where are you, my queen? Do you really think you can escape me that easily? In my office, standing in front of the large windows, staring into the castle grounds. I am already contemplating my next step of action. A light knock on the door and Vacile pokes his head in to see if it's safe to enter. "Master, I have all you requested. Should I show them in?" I nodded my head and the door opened. I motioned for them to sit, and I could smell their fear. "I had you all brought here because we have a slight issue. My queen has escaped. You all know her best, and it's a possibility she has confided in one or all of you. So, who will speak up and make this easy?" An evil smirk spread across my face, and I noticed that there were only 4 of the 6 willing to look me in the eye. "Cat got your tongues? Maybe a little persuasion is needed? VACILE!! Please strap each of our guests to the chairs in the corridor, and blindfold them. Leave Jilly and Eve. I will speak with them first." Vacile does as instructed, and I sat on my desk in front of the girls. I make it seem as if I'm trying to relax by removing my jacket and unbuttoning a few of the buttons on my shirt. I next roll up my sleeves and have a drink of water. Staring at them silently for a moment, releasing a little of my royal aura to show I am not to be messed with. "Ladies, I wanted to speak with you first because I feel like I can fully trust you. The boys, well, let's just say that they leave a lot to be desired when it comes to the truth. Eve, I know that you have been tending to Kaia as she went through her body adjusting to my marking. Jilly, I know you were appointed her assistant and have spent the most time with her. Did she let any plans slip to either of you, or show any signs of wanting to escape?" The girls looked at each other like they were trying to figure out what the right thing to say was. Then Jillian closed her eyes, sighed, and spoke up. "Master, we were not the only of your faithful to have spent time with Queen Kaia. She had been receiving regular visits from General Younger, the rogue wolf whom you had been giving asylum to. He would whisper to her every time he came to see her. I think he was plotting her escape." Eve nodded in agreement as Jillian had spoken, knowing exactly what she was doing. I was silent, looking directly into Jilly's eyes. I had never had reason to ever doubt her loyalty to me. I nodded my head and called for Vacile. "Vacile, release the men in the corridor and take me to General Youngers quarters. I think him and I need to have a chat." With that, I left the room, leaving the women to leave on their own accord.
