Patti’s pov
Dom keeps begging me to come work with him. If it was just him it wouldn’t be a problem. Because I’d love to work with my brother. No, it’s Lucien that’s the problem. I couldn’t handle seeing him every day. Watching my childhood crush prance around with stick figures all day.
He was so worried about what others thought of him. It made me sick. No, I will find my own job. I told Dom that and he wasn’t happy. Hell, he was mad that I moved into my own place already. To him I was still his baby sister. He needs to realize that I am all grown up now.
Part of me wants to tell my brother the hell I went through, but I don’t want to see the look of pity I know I’ll see in his eyes. I had to move out of his place before he found out. The nightmares started back up again.
