Lucien’s pov
I couldn’t believe how much Patti has changed. I couldn’t stop staring at her. I need to stay away from her. She could be dangerous. I have no room for her in my life. I need to stay focused because I have so many people counting on me. She makes me lose focus.
Luckily, I don’t have to see her anymore. I was in my office pouring over spreadsheets when Dominic knocked on my door.
“Hey are you busy?” He asked.
“No come in. What’s on your mind?”
I could tell something was wrong with how quiet he is.
“Well I need a favor from you.”
“Anything you have done so much for me. What do you need?”
“My sister needs a job.”
I would do anything for Dominic. I just don’t know if I could do this.
“What do you think she would say about you asking me to give her a job?”
