Chapter 3: Accompany We Brothers for A Drink

During the evening when Selene was done with her work schedule for the day she left immediately.
She went to the small market nearby and bought some foodstuff, beverages, and snacks before heading to her house.
After preparing some food, she showered and changed her clothes before heading to the hospital with the food she prepared and the snacks she bought.
She booked a car with her phone before leaving the house, but when she came out on the road to go to the hospital the time was already late, so she just stood beside the road waiting for the car she booked earlier to arrive.
Boom, a big luxurious car passes along the road the car is not speeding not moving too slowly.
She caught a glimpse of someone in the back seat because the car's backlight was on.
She saw young master Lugard sitting in the back seat with his eyes closed.
Selene became a little nervous and excited her heart beating fast, she continued looking at the luxurious car as it moved further and further away.
Another car passed and stopped in front of her she checked the car and it was the one she booked.
She entered and rested her head for a while before opening her eyes again and looking out the dark and quiet night with cold air,
They run into a red light and their car stops. After she looked at the front car, she turned her gaze to the car window to look out for a moment.
But was shocked to see Lugard's car next to theirs.
Lugard was sitting elegantly on the back seat his sitting posture like a king, and his beautiful slender hands were busy typing something on his phone.
He noticed someone gazing at him and he turned his gaze to the side to know who it was.
He didn't see Selene looking at him from the car behind, because the car light was not turned on, the back of the car was too dark like night, so he didn't meet her gaze.
Selene Saw when he glanced in her direction and her heart skipped a bit. She bit her lips and clenched her fist because of nervousness.
Master Philip Lugard, will you still remember me, after all these years, Selene murmured.
When the red light was off the whole car went their separate ways.
The car stopped at the hospital, Selene climbed down picked up her bags and food, and went straight into the elevator.
In Lugard's estate.
Lugard's car drove into the estate, the butler heard the sound of his car and came out.
Lugard opened the car door and walked out with his long legs.
Welcome young master. The butler greeted.
Lugard nodded and walked towards the viller.
He entered his room, walked towards his desk, and kept his phone.
He loses his tie, removes his suit, and walks into the bathroom to take a shower.
After some minutes he came out wearing a bathrobe, and drying his hair.
Ring, the sound of the phone ringing fills the quiet room.
He walked towards his desk picked up the phone, walked to the the balcony, and answered the call.
His deep Black eyes were black as a night stared at the black cloud.
What's up, he asked.
Lord Lu, did I Disturb your sleep or rest? Jonathan asked smiling showing his white teeth that Lugard couldn't see through the phone.
Lugard didn't respond, he kept quiet as if the question was not for him.
Hey, even if I disturb you or not I don't care, Jonathan said jokingly. The reason I called is to ask if you would like to accompany us brothers for a drink. Jonathan said.
Lugard didn't say anything.
Hey, cold guy, talk, say something, you are making me feel like I'm talking to myself on the phone. Jonathan said.
But Lugard still didn't say anything. After some thought, send me the address. Lugard said before hanging up the phone.
Jonathan looks at his phone that has been hanging up and smiles beautifully. I told you he will come. He said to the others, he walked towards his chair, sat down, and sent the address to Lugard.
Lugard entered his room and dressed up. He wore black pants and a black shirt.
His fair skin complemented his outfit. After dressing up he picked up his phone and strode out of his room swiftly.
The butler saw him going out.
Young master are you not going to have dinner now? The butler asks.
No, I will not be eating in the estate, don't prepare. he said before walking out.
The butler nodded and escorted him out.
Give me the car key, he demanded.
The driver handed the car key to him immediately.
He entered the car and drove away from the estate.
In the hospital.
Selene entered her sister's ward. She pushed the door open.
In the room, Didi was sitting on the hospital bed, with her cast hand, and injured arm, laughing and talking to Emilia.
Emilia was sitting on the chair beside the bed, her hand resting on the bed, while she was telling jokes. Before the door was pushed open.
Hello sister, you are back, Didi said with a smile and happiness after seeing her sister back, after leaving the hospital since morning.
Hmm, Selene nodded with a smile walking to her sister's side.
Didi, how are you feeling, how are your injuries? Selene asks touching her sister.
It's fine, it's no more painful like before, and the pain has eased a bit.
That's good, Selene said turning to her best friend Emilia, what's up? She walked towards Emilia and sat beside her smiling.
Emilia raises her hand, meaning she's ok.
Emilia am so sorry for troubling you for my sister.
Emilia rolled her eyes in confusion. I don't understand, how is it troubling me, to come to the hospital to help my best friend take care of her injured sister since she's not around, how was that trouble? Emilia said.
Forget it, thanks for taking care of Didi.
Emilia touches her hair with a headache.
Sister, how is work today? Didi ask.
As usual, Selene answered with a tired look on her face.
Did those girls bully you today, Didi asked.
Yes, they do bully me but forget about it first.
Didi's face changed and turned to anger, so they didn't listen after all my warnings, I would handle them when I left the hospital soon. Didi said angrily.

Forget it, let's eat, I made some food that is getting cold, am hungry and feeling sleepy. Selene said walking towards the lunchbox on the table.
