Chapter 13

My parents met us in the office and as they sat on the leather sectional couch, I sat up on Rykers desk. Ryker was in his chair and the other two guys were in the leather office chairs listening to me.

"So the night of the party is when he took me, I didn't even make it downstairs. He made his move when I was actually going to the garden to meet up with Ryker." I shrugged and my father raised his hand a looked over to him "But they said Ryker took you, if I am not mistaken, Ryker you weren't at the party?"

No sir, they wouldn't let me cross the border, so I came home and was going to send flowers to apologize when Asher called me in a panic saying Grant had Annabelle and was leading her somewhere." He looked over at me from his chair, "My heart dropped when he told me. I knew the night I met you, you were my Mate. Which is why I was so annoyed with my cousin that evening." He smiled up to me.

My father stood up and started pacing "I just don't understand how they say you kidnapped her if you weren't there?" He frowned at him.

Asher stood up "Sir, they're saying that he had snuck Green Woodland warriors in to do the job. I know thats a lie because he dismissed me then and when I got to the packhouse the Alpha had informed me that Ryker had warriors take her." He sat back down.

My father's blood was boiling at this point. "Did he hurt you Anna?" He looked at me.

I didn't know what to say, I couldn't risk my father doing something stupid out of anger.

Ryker spoke up before I could say anything "He hit her and raped her by Alpha command and drugged her with Wolfsbane. I plan on killing him." he growled, his teeth grinding.

I looked down ashamed of myself when my mothers arms wrapped around me. "Annabelle everything is going to be okay, we will make sure he pays." She kissed my cheek.

"Thanks momma, just a bit uncomfortable talking about it." I gave her a weak smike.

"I just want you to remember something for me. Once you own it, he can't use it against you anymore. Make it your strength, deep down in your core. Focus it to be where your power comes from." She placed a hand on my cheek and warmth flowed through me from her hand.

My eyes went to a trance stare as I seen what she seen and felt what she had felt. My mom was able to show the past. Then it switched and wait, was that a wedding with Ryker as a groom. Then the back of a babies head full of brown ringlets of curly hair. She pulled her hand away and smiled. "Oh yes baby, I can see the future and show you my past. That is how we knew you were destined to be with Ryker. But when Grant stated you were his mate I thought my vision was wrong and I had them mixed up. I couldn't tell you I had powers because we were never certain you would seeing how your father does not." She gave me a hug. "Everything will work out to be better in the end. I promise you that."

I felt an overwhelming of joy filling my body. My heart filled of happiness and pride seeing a glimpse into the future. I was going to be okay and eventually move past this small bump in the road. I looked over to Ryker and tears were threatening to spill over.

He smiled down to me, "I have also seen the same vision, just at a much younger age."

"So thats how you knew to come looking for me then?" I looked back at my mother and father.

"Absolutely, they came for a visit and told me she had seen my future in a vision but didn't let on to tell me it was her own daughter. That way it left me with no option but to give you time and space." He kissed the top of my head.

The dinner bell rang in his office and my stomach growled loudly. Everyone laughed and my cheeks reddened some "Hey I didn't have much to eat out there. I was scared he would of poisoned me."

We walked down to the dinner hall, Kingston carrying maps with us. "Oh I forgot to get your phone out of your room. Go on ahead I'll join momentarily." I kissed his cheek and separated from my family and Ryker. I grabed the phone and headed into dinner..

A few of the lead warriors met up with us to discuss plans and they stopped talking immediately as I walked into the room, bowing their heads as a sign of respect.

I joined at Rykers side and sat down at the table. "Gentlemen, this is Annabelle, my mate and your future Luna. Annabelle this is James, Connor, and Anden." he smiled over to me.

I nodded to them and smiled "Gentlemen, it is very nice to meet you three."

James perked up "Luna, we will make sure to find you the justice that you deserve. It makes my blood boil when we were briefed us up on what happened to you." his fists clenched on the table.

Connor nodded "Luna, I along with Anden, are on your detailed service. We will be serving as your body guard when Ryker will be unavailable, not nearby, or not close enough to watch your back. We know you're powerful, but we hope to aide in your safety and be by your side!"

Anden followed up before I could say anything "Our Luna will be very well protected, that I can promise to you both. It is an absolute honor to be on your protection service."

"Thank you three very much. Also, thank you Ryker to go through all of this trouble for me." I placed my hand in his and looked at the three of them "I am forever grateful to have wonderful warriors by my side. Let us eat and discuss future plans, shall we?" I gestured to the mouth watering food being served and the maps at the table in front of us.

The dinner that was served to us was probably the most delicious food that I have ever ate. A small moan escaped my lips as I ate "This is probably the best tasting food I have ever had before." The steak was so tender and it melted in your mouth as you chewed. You didn't even need to use the steak knife as it pulled away from itself easily with your fork. They served the sides of twice baked loaded potatoes, garlic buttered green beans, a huge house salad, and a strawberry topped cheesecake.

We all ate our fill and discussed out the way we were going to go about the situation. My father would escort Gracie to the border and then they would help get all of us inside the Great Hall. "What if he challenges you for me?" I looked over to my Mate, he was absolutely dashing and he smiled at me.

His grin was wicked "I hope that he does and doesn't run scared like the coward he is."

I gasped "Ryker, what if he wins? I'll be stuck with him." Panic rose in my voice as I spoke.

He moved over to me and wrapped his arms around me and I felt instantly calm and took a deep inhale and softly sighed against his chest and he whispered "He will not be victorious. Remember he rejected his true mate, he's weaker without her. Gracie already found her second mate, the Goddess is not on his side." He placed a soft kiss on my forehead.

"That is very true, I suppose." I relaxed then, his embrace felt like a warming blanket around my body and I felt home.

We moved the meeting into the office. I walked over and looked down at the maps. "So where do we plan on entering the territory? Dad, in your personal, no professional opinion would you suggest isnthe weaker area? I don't want to use closest because they will be expecting that, no?" I turned the maps around so he could see it clearer. My mom stood by his side and looked up at me proudly.

"I believe the western corner where the lake spills out into the river." He pointed "Its thick in forestry so it'll be easier to pass by any patrols, and if they see me they won't think anything of it."

I looked over to Asher and Kingston "I want to be able to have some type of thin but strong supportive armor on Ryker and myself when we go up on stage. Can you guys find someone to come up with something to help protect us?"

They nodded and looked atnone another "Ole Jack may have something or can come up with something quickly." They took off in a run out the door.

I looked at Ryker "I want you to mark me as yours before we go."

His eyes widened and I smiled "Are you sure?"

"Absolutely its on my terms, I want to be tied to you in every physical aspect that I can be before we leave. We have the next two days before we have to leave for Blood Moon." I kissed him on the lips softly and I felt the electric spark flow through my body and travel through every vein. Pulling me to deepen the kiss. We forgot my parents were in the room and got lost in each other.

"Ahem." My father cleared his throat and I heard my moms soft laugh. "Excuse us, we will meet you for breakfast in the morning before we leave."

"Sorry I just didn't know how wonderful the bond was and felt." I apologized to my parents.

"No worries sweetie, your father and I both understand exactly the way you're feeling" She hugged me tightly. "We will see you in the morning." And they left us to go to their room.

"We should introduce you to the pack officially." He kissed my temple, "How about tomorrow afternoon?"

"That sounds like a great plan to me." I laid my head on his chest.

"Guys let's get the pack informed on meeting with their new Luna." He looked over to James, Connor and Anden nodded and left the room.
