Chapter 26

I shifted and my rage was full blown force, my wolf and I ready to rip their heads off. I linked Ryker quickly "I love you, time to get the party started!" I stepped forward and sniffed the air. Three scents by the door, lanky guy, Anthony, and another wolf. I listened and heard noise and movement downstairs, laughing and joking and I could smell food burning on the stove. "We will see how much they're laughing when they're dead." Amethyst ready for her revenge.

I smashed through the door and smirked at their shocked faces. My wolf was huge and I ripped Anthonys head from his shoulders first. The expression on his face was priceless. Lanky guy was in mid shift when my teeth and claws shredded right through him. I was angry and tired of being hurt by these awful people. The other wolf shifted quicker and had lunged at my side. After I ripped through the lanky guy and turned and snapped my jaws at the female wolf. I caught the scruff of her neck and threw her down the hall taking out three people who was looking at the commotion. Shouting and panic rose through the crowd as Grant shifted behind his worthless and weak pack of what I assumed were Rouges.

A growl rippled through me as I bulldozed through the house and down the hall. I ripped through four other wolves. My fur was drenched in blood. I imagined that I appeared pretty psychotic looking as my tongue licked my teeth, blood dripping off my fur and into the pool of blood on the floor. I slowly walked to him and as each wolf attacked me I ripped through them, slinging them aside. "Pathetic excuses for wolves" Amethyst said and I nodded at her in agreement.

Grant growled at me, forcing his Alpha Aurora on me and it did nothing. When he realized this, his eyes widened and he growled at his pack and as if all at once they pounced. I had 3 wolves on me at once. I fought them and was throwing them off one at a time. They just kept coming. I outstretched a paw and slices ones throat completely open with my sharp claws and bit another's jaw locking it in.

The other wolf whimpered in pain and I yanked my neck back, whipping my head and ripping his jaw open. I linked Ryker quickly "Hope your close I can't hold them off me much longer. Ha, just kidding come join the fun!"

Did that sounds cocky? Yeah, probably but I was strong. Grant seen that and as much as he hated it he was ordering to take me down and subdue me. I heard him shouting for wolfsbane and silver. I jerked my head to follow where his eyes were looking and leaped across the room attacking the unshifted wolf. I ripped his arm off and slung him into the window. The window shattered and he flew outside screaming in agonizing pain.

Just then four large wolves attacked me and we rolled out the window I was standing near. A shard of glass went into my shoulder and I howled in pain. I stood quickly and two wolves snapped at my back feet. I turned and was met with Grants jaws coming over the front of my leg, biting hard.

I cried out in pain as I felt and heard the crunch noise. I knew I was in trouble, that would take hours to heal and handicapped me in battle. I became desperate and used my back legs the kick the two wolves behind me off, putting my weight all on my one paw. I pivoted around quickly, taking a back leg and landed it right on Grants chest. The force of the hit made him fly into the side of the house, making the wall crumble upon him.

Just then I heard Rykers footsteps and the others behind him. That distraction was just enough time for another wolf to stab a needle in my shoulder. I growled and ripped his hand away with my mouth. I felt the fire feeling of the wolfsbane leaking into my blood stream and I got angry. My eyes started glowing and I let out a growl that made my pack stop dead in their tracks to look at me.

I howled out as a bright light flowed through me and outwards. I grew and almost doubled my size of wolf. My body and bones snapped and cracked to readjust to my new bigger size. My wounds, especially my paw and leg that Grant snapped was suddenly healed. I turned to look at Grant and his face said it all. He was terrified at what he saw and I was laughing at how pathetic he really was. I planned on showing him all of the pain he put me through, all of it. I slowly walked to him, my wolf in complete control and able to speak in her form. "How dare you try to drug me again a third time. How dare you orchestrate the kidnapping of me again. How dare you try to force me into being your mate when I am already Rykers fated mate!" Amethyst was screaming. When another wolf tried to sneak around, her head snapped and let out a growl that made my pack even tremble. "This ends now, you psychotic f*****g piece of s**t." She lunged at him and they fought and it was now a total out war between the wolves. Apparently Grant had wolves hiding in the woods in a camp nearby. It wasn't anything we couldn't handle.

I ended up pinning him into the ground and locked my jaws on his throat. I could look directly into one of his eyes and I forced all of my visions and love I had for Ryker. I wanted to show him everything I felt for Ryker and not him. He continued to struggle under me and I let all of my pain and fear that he caused me sink into him now. All of it, I didn't hold back. He whimpered and soon stopped struggling and fighting me. I felt him slowly start to fade. His blood that was pouring freely from his neck was now at a trickle. It was quiet, no fighting in the background. I felt a soft nuzzle on my side and I let go of Grants lifeless body and stepped back. I felt my world spin suddenly and weakened.

"I love you." I spoke softly and took one look at Ryker and smiled before collapsing on the ground in front of him and my pack.

I drifted into darkness and suddenly it was bright as a beautiful sunny day. I looked around and thought that maybe I died. I looked down and I was wearing a long flowy white dress, that hugged every curve perfectly.

I frowned and realized I couldn't feel my wolf. "Hmmm, interesting. Wonder what happened?" I spoke outloud and to no one in particular. I walked and walked for what seemed like forever. White floors, white walls, and bright white lights. There was no end in sight. It was a complete deafening silence and I knew I was dead. A single tear fell down my cheek as I thought of the life I would never gave with Ryker.

I smiled as I visioned him being a wonderful father to a big family. We have our own pups and of course adopted some pups too. I pictured our home full of love and laughter and I cried. I was now angry at the Moon Goddess for taking that away from me, from Ryker. I know I saved the pack and I saved him but why would I have to die too?

"Good grief Anna, stop all of that crying." a soft, gentle and loving voice spoke to me.

I turned around and stared at this woman approaching me. She was the most beautiful person I had ever seen! She had long blonde hair, flawless creamy skin that seemed to glow, bright blue eyes, high cheek bones and pink lips. Who was this?

"You know who I am, after all you pray to me nightly." My mouth dropped and she smiled, nodding her head.

"M-m-moon Goddess? Is it really? I knew I was dead!" I stumbled through my words as I started to sob. I would never see my mate again.

"Listen, Anna. Calm down, no no don't cry.. Anna. My sweet, brave girl." Her hand touched my face and I felt so much warm and love pouring through her, in that moment I instantly felt happier. "You used to much energy and power. Your body is simply recovering and in a coma. You weren't ready to use that much energy seeing how your wolf is not full grown, you forced it, for a good and legit reason. But, you saved your mates life, your packs life, and many others, including your own." She smiled at me.

"Ohh. Wait what is going on?" I looked down at my hands and realized my skin was also glowing, like hers.

"Your body is healing itself. You grew twice your size and had broken bones wolfsbane that had silver mixed in it. You will look slightly different when you wake. But on the count of three I will have you wake up. Ready?" She held up a hand.

"Yes, please and Moon Goddess, thank you for this extraordinary life." I smiled at her and gave her a quick hug. I felt tingling through out my whole body as her arms wrapped around me. I felt my strength regenerating and my blood coursing as she counted. "One.. Two.."

"Thank you Moon Goddess." I said once more. I would always be so very grateful for this life.

"Oh, Annabelle I really do mean that you have changed. You will see what I mean. Don't be shocked if you see new markings. Everyone will know that you have been blessed by me." She kissed the top of my head softly "I am always listening. Three." A flash of bright light flowed through my entire body. My body arched up in the air as I floated downwards and back into my body.
