Chapter 18

I walked alongside of my mother and met Ryker at the landing of the staircase. I looked down and watched as my mom separated from us and decended down the stairs. I turned my attention to look at my mate. His suit fit him perfectly. He looked so very handsome and dare I say delicious? "My, my, my, how absolutely handsome you look this evening."

He turned then and his face lit up with that bright smile of his "Wow, absolutely stunning!"

I could feel my cheeks blush as he took my hand into his. "Ready for my ceremony?"

"Oh am I. I am so happy and excited for you. Let's get going. The elder is ready for your announcement. I will, of course, be escorting you in." He pulled my hand some and we walked down the steps. He motioned a signal to a fellow pack member and I heard music softly start playing.

On the other side of the door I heard the elder ask everyone to rise, sort of like a wedding, and announced my name. We walked in and down the aisle to the elder gentleman who was waiting for us at the end. There was two chairs and one old, but beautiful pillow. I smiled at our members and even seen little Miss Millie and gave her a small wave.

We reached the end of the aisle and Ryker took a seat in his chair.

"Kneel for me, dear." The elder spoke to me softly.I kneeled onto the pillow and bowed my head. He continued "Green Woodland we are all here today to bare witness to the Luna ceremony. By the grace of our Goddess our Alpha Ryker has found his one true Mate, Annabelle! Miss Annabelle do you promise to uphold the position of Luna to the Green Woodland pack? If our pack falls upon trouble, do you promise to uphold your responsibilities as our Luna in fighting, protecting what is Green Woodland. Never leading us astray and on to our death deliberately?" He paused awaiting my answer

"I swear." I responded confidently. His hand went to my forehead and I felt a warming sensation he must also have powers as I felt my entire body tingle.

"By Goddess I call onto you now with this protection enchantment on our Luna. Protect her and show her your guidance in all things she does for our pack." He stepped back and motioned for me to stand and turned.

I stood and turned to look at the many faces of our entire pack. They were watching intently and it was complete silence. I took a deep breath to calm myself down a bit.

"Green Woodland may I present you to your Luna, Annabelle!" He stepped back and started clapping and just as I smiled the entire room erupted loudly with cheers, chants, clapping, and yelling in celebration to their Luna.

I turned and Ryker was also standing now and clapping just as hard. He walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me and kissed me. I felt the need like fire run through my veins down to my very core and I felt suddenly warm. I shrugged it off, this was no time for getting sick, we had a celebration to get to. I turned to the pack "Everyone lets celebrate tonight for tomorrow will be long and tideous! Let us be good hosts to our guests from Crest Moon! Enjoy the party and festivities!" I turned back to my mate and my stomach growled "Shall we eat then dance?" I placed my hand into his and started walking in the direction of food.

He laughed and followed along side of me "Hungry?"

"Oh yes, very much so." I replied.

We sat at our seat and we ate our food. I still felt warm, but it felt more like it was trying to radiate through my lower stomach. I ignored it as we enjoyed the night. I pushed my seat back as we walked to the dance floor. We danced and our bodies close together seemed to give me mild comfort from the throbbing sensation I had been feeling. Everyone seemed to enjoy theirself, including our guests and now allies in tomorrow's battle.

I separated myself away from Ryker to go fetch a bottle of water. I felt overly hot. I leaned back resting against the counter drinking water when an unknown gentlemen walked in. I sniffed and quickly realized he wasn't from either pack. I slowly sat my water down as his eyes locked on me.

He stood taller than me at 6'3. He was huge bulky and stocky. His arms were thick and covered in tattoos. His legs looked like tree trunks. He was definitely strong.

He dropped the bloodied up warrior to the ground and licked his lips walking to me. I linked quickly "Help!" and was smacked across the face. I was smacked right off the counter and into the floor. He grabed me up by my hair and held me up to him as he straddled behind me. He whispered through gritted teeth "Oh my, someone's in heat. I'll give yas a good f*** before I hand you over. Fill you full." His tongue licked along where my mark was burning me.

Just then Ryker, Asher, and Kingston pushed through the barricaded door. Rykers eyes went dark with fury and he leaped for the guy that had a hold of me. Asher leaped to the other side. Kingston went for me pulling me out of the man's grasp when the others collided on him. "Oh d**n. Ryker. Uhhh." Kingston called.

Just then Alpha Eric busted through and looked at the chaos. "Ryker tend to your mate. I will take care of this Rouge and send him into a jail cell. We will deal with him after tomorrow. "

Ryker was at my side and he hugged me. He inhaled deeply, my scent pouring into him and a low growl escaped between his lips. His eyes went wide and dark and he grinned and then frowned "Oh no.." his voice trailed off. His nostrils flared and I felt a throbbing sensation developing deep within me. It felt as if fire spread through my entire body and I was ready to explode. Ryker wrapped me into his arms and I kissed him as he walked away from everyone. I kissed him hard and moved my lips against his roughly in want and lust. I pulled back and felt my body ache. He ripped a split all the way past my hips in my dress and my legs wrapped around him. I was grinding down into him and bit his lip. "Anna, you're in heat." He said breathlessly. "Probably why that Rouge could easily find you. With this being your first time in heat, it shouldn't be strong and hopefully there is something to mask your scent."

At this point I didn't care. I just wanted to feel him deep inside me. Feel him moving in and out of me, pounding me hard. I pressed my lips back against him, with need. I broke the kiss "I don't care, just take me to our room."

He pushed through our bedroom door and walked over to our bed and laid me down gently. He stood up, walking into the bathroom. "Hold on, just lay there for a moment." I heard the water turn on and he walked out, smiled at me a left.

I frowned at the door when it shut as I sat up in the bed. How dare he refuse me, I am practically throwing myself at him and he refuses me. Just then a twinge of pain rippled through the lower portion of my torso. I held onto my stomach and fell back, rolling onto my side.

The door opened and my eyes locked with his and he rushed to my side. He had a bottle in his hand and he lifted me effortlessly out of bed. He carried me into the bathroom and let me stand. It wasn't hot or steamy in there, thankfully. I felt as if my skin was burning, worse than when I switched over to my rage. He helped me out of my dress and placed soft kisses along my shoulder. I watched him as he was behind me in our bathroom mirror.

He began rubbing my skin down with a deep cooling lotion. It smelled of lilac and it instantly calmed me down. He rubbed it along my neck, shoulders, and down my back. He slowly maneuvered his hands along my skin, drenching it in the product. He walked to my front and smiled and continued to carefully rub it in. "This is made only here in our pack. The packhouse doctor generally has to prescribe it to our she-wolfs whose mates are away or have been lost in battle." He glanced up at me and kissed me upon the lips tenderly. "It is suppose to produce a masking to calm down your in heat scent and in some circumstances help cool your skin. It appears to be doing both for you." His fingers felt wonderful on my skin. Then he moved to my chest and I felt heat slightly rise and he smirked "You are very beautiful and I will release this pressure thats building once we see if this works, love."

I nodded and closed my eyes as his fingers lingered around my n*****s for too long.

He moved down my stomach and applied a thick layer against my abdominal area and I felt the cooling sensation push through.

"Ahh." I breathed as I began to feel relief from the pain and burning.

"Good, it's working." He closed the bottle and began undressing himself. "This is going to feel amazing for you." He opened the glass shower door and I stepped in.

The water was ice cold and my n*****s hardened from the chill. It felt heavenly and I could feel the cold water working with the lotion that was given to us. How wonderful! I made a mental note to thank whoever invented this stuff in our pack. The shower stalk was huge and I felt warmth coming from the opposite side. In stepped Ryker in all of his wonderful delicious glory. I bit my lip and he moved to me. I met him halfway and he took me into his arms and kissed me. His hands moved all along my body he hissed at the coldness of the water from my side as he pushed me back intobthe cold stoned wall. His hands moved down to meet the throbbing between my thighs and rubbed slowly. I moaned and rocked my hips against his hand. My fingers dug into his skin and glue moved a finger inside of me. I pressed mybhead back against the wall, giving him full complete access to my chest. One hand caressed and pinched a n****e while his mouth sucked my other into his mouth. His tongue swirled around the hardened area as his hand moved faster in and out of me. I felt my climax building and he squatted down, he lifted one of my legs over his shoulder and buried his face between my legs. He moved the other leg over his shoulder and then stood.

He lowered me and my shaking legs slowly getting my balance as I touched the ground. He stood back up and gave me a long passionate kiss. He lifted me back up and I felt him hard against me.
