Chapter 19

I woke before the sun rose. My hair was nearly matted to my head from last nights activities. I felt his hot breath against my neck and I eased out of his arms. He stirred in bed as I stood up. I tip-toed into the bathroom and closed the door. I felt overly warm and sighed as I glanced at myself in the mirror. I smiled looking at how ridiculous I appeared.

I ran the shower luke warm, more on the cold side. Trying to get my heat to die down a little. I picked up the masking body wash and stepped into the cool water. It felt fantastic, washing over my skin. I reached for the handle and turned it more cold. I stood there for a good while before I lathered up my body, getting every spot I could. I washed my hair with the masking shampoo and conditioner. I felt normal as I stepped out of the shower. I wrapped the towel around me and brushed my hair. I sat at my vanity, drying my hair nearly all the way. I stopped and began braiding it for what could happen this afternoon.

As I began putting the masking scent lotion on I heard the door squeak as it opened. I looked up into the mirror and watched as he walked in. He was already dressed as he came up to me. "Good morning, I can't smell you. I would have thought you left if you weren't so noisy." he laughed, leaning down kissing my cheek. "I am glad that is working as it should."

"Oh I hope I didn't wake you. I just was hot, because well you know." I stood up holding my towel against my body still.

"You didn't wake me, love. I had an alarm set already. Got a lot to prepare for this morning with our pack. I'll meet you for breakfast in fifteen minutes in the formal dining room? I have to run to my office to get some maps and things." He stepped up to me.

I wrapped my arms around him and stood up on my toes placing a kiss against his lips. "Mmmm. Delicious." I halfway moaned as I spoke. "I will see you and everyone in there then."

He returned the kiss, his lips lingering a bit. I watched as he walked down the hallway to his office. I finished getting ready and walked my way down to the formal dining room. I walked in and everyone was gathering around my old packs map on the table. They were arguing over what time. I sighed and walked over to where the coffee bar was set up and made my cup. I poured a very generous amount of sugar in the cup and took a sip. "Mmm. Tastes delicious." I turned and looked at all of the men gathered around "Ahem." I cleared my throat and they all went quiet. The ones who weren't in my pack continued to argue.

I walked over to the table and sat my cup down. "Guys. Quiet." They stopped and looked at me and I continued "Let us get food in our bellies and then I can inform you on the plan." I motioned to the Omegas who were bringing in sausage, eggs, bacon, biscuits, and hashbrowns. They also brought in lemonade, orange juice, tea, and milk as drinks. They all made their plates and ate happily. I quickly ate my food and tossed my trash as they still ate. I linked my Mate, "I will start while they're eating. We don't need to argue and fight amongst ourselves."

He nodded and I cut the link. I walked over and looked at the map. I picked up a red marker and turned the map around. I gazed over it and a heard a small chuckle followed by a whisper "Does she even know how to read a map?" coming from someone of the other pack. I marked a spot on the map and walked over to the man. "Why yes, yes I do. I am also originally from this pack. I know where they're weak and where they're strong. You see I used to be a fragile little thing before but I will not tolerate this. Get out." My hand pointed to the door and my Luna Aurora was projecting out so much it made him bow his head and bare his neck before whimpering. The other men also bared their neck in submission and I stepped back. The man got up and left the room.

I turned to look at everyone else in the room and looked at my mate, who was smiling proudly. "Anyone else want to join him? No okay. Let's get one thing straight. This is where we are entering their pack borders." I lifted the map and showed the red star I drew on the map. The terrain is a bit rough but nothing our wolves can't handle. This is the best shot we have. This is where we are meeting my mother, father who is the beta and my best friend. They're smuggling us over the border and risking their lives just like both of our packs. They've been harassing our border because they've been fed lies. He's even went as far as to hire a Rouge wolf to get me. We are doing this my way." The men nodded and continued to listen to our plans.

My mate stood then and I sat down as he discussed the groups. Where the best entrance was and how important it was to listen to who was guiding us in under the radar. I watched the wolves intently listen to my mate and I stood seeing Asher and Kingston and made my way to them both. "I want one of you with their group. I don't fully trust their pack and I am afraid that they will step out of line or try to flip the switch on us." I whispered. Kingston nodded and offered his help to go with them along with a handful of our warriors. "Thank you." My hand rested on his and I smiled.

"Anything for my Luna!" he responded proudly.

I smiled and walked over to Ryker. His hand reached around my waist and pulled me into his side. He was talking to Eric and I looked around and observed his pack. They seemed like they would be good to their word but I just couldn't risk it. They shook one anothers hand and with that we were off.

As we reached outside we walked out to the training grounds. I closed my eyes and focused.

"Can everyone hear me?" I linked the warriors of our clan and the Alpha Eric and some of his warriors. His jaw dropped. I smirked and took that as a yes. He immediately came running to me.

"H-how did you do that?" He looked dumbfounded.

"Easy when you have special abilities." I patted his shoulder. "I will be linking throughout the journey. We will be having Kingston and a few of our warriors accompanying your group into their territory. Let's get them round up it is time." I looked over to Asher who whistled loudly. My mate howled and just like that our pack was pouring around us. We worked and trained hard the last few days and I was impressed.

"Lets go everyone. Stay alert and stay focused."

With that I began my shape-shifting from my human form and into my wolf form. Ryker shifted with me and we nuzzled our noses together. Our wolves were excited and ready for some action. I took off in the direction with a howl ripping through me. Our pack followed suite and so did Erics.

It was going to take us a few hours time to get there but we ran hard and fast until we reached the border.

Ryker linked the pack "I want two wolves to climb that mountain range as a lookout for any surprise attacks that we can't see. This brush is thick!"

Once they were in position the only thing we could do is lie low and wait patiently for the all clear by my father who should be arriving soon.

"He is coming! Her father is coming! He's about two miles or so out!"
