MIA'S POV

Me and Leah are currently laid in comfortable chairs, mud pie face masks on our faces with cucumber on our eyes.

While also getting our feet massarged.

I'd told Leah the story of how it all went down in the staff room and she said I should of whooped Claires ass!

"I wanted to but I couldn't bring myself to bring self down to her level of prettiness" I say.

"You know it could of been worse" says Leah

"How's that?" I ask

"My brother could of been a middle aged ugly man" she says laughing.

"That true" I say laughing along with her.

"At least if your being accused of sleeping with someone, it's someone good looking" says Leah

"Well I can't deny that I can understand why all the women swoon over Daniel but looks are not everything in this world" I say

"I know that so what do you look for in a bloke?" Leah asks me suddenly.

"He has to be make me laugh, kind hearted and loyal. Oh and that spark has to be there." I say

"You know Cliff wasn't lieing when he said he knows a few good men he could set you up with", says Leah

"I don't want to get to know strangers atm, Its draughting having the pressure of blind dating" I say.

"Okay so if you got to know some people and someone fancied you would you be ready for dating then?" She asks.

"If I liked them back then yes, I wouldn't want to give someone false hope if I didn't like them back though. What's with all these questions anyway?" I ask.

"I'm just curious" says Leah

"What about you? Are you open to the dating world atm?" I ask turning the tables lm

"Yes I am" Leah says

"Is there anyone you like?" I quiz

"Well there is someone, but I'm sure there not interested" says Leah

"How do you know?" I ask intrigued now.

"Because he fancy my friend instead" she says

"Oh that's sucks then, your find someone your to funny and kind someone will sweep you of your feet" I say.

"What about you is there anyone you like" asks Leah

"I don't know" i say

"How can you not know?" She says sounding shocked

"Well I have a friend, I think I may like but I don't know if I like like them if you understand what I mean" I say.

"Aww, I was really hoping you would like my brother, I meant it earlier when I said I'd love to have you as my sister in law". Leah says.

"Oh come on your brother could have any women he wants, he wouldn't be interested in me anyway" I say

"I dunno I think you would both make a great couple, you get on well and I can tell my brother is protective of you" She says.

"That's probably because he sees me as a emotional women" I say

"No i don't think so" says Leah

"Come on if my brother liked you, would you accept a date if he asked you on one and be truthful" asks leah

"I'd consider it if I thought your brother actually liked me, but I'm sure he sees me just as a friend" I say.

DANIELS POV

It's 7:35pm and Leah has turned up at mine.

"How is Mia" I ask

"She is okay we had a good day at the spa and I dropped her home around half hour ago after we had dinner" she says.

"I'm glad to hear it" I say.

"Do you think Mia will come to work tomorrow?" I ask.

"She didn't say, you should call and ask her" Leah says while shrugging her shoulders.

"Oh Daniel by the way me and Mia had a good chat earlier and guess what I think she likes you" Leah suddenly says excited.

"Really? Are you sure?" I ask suddenly wanting to know more.

"Well see I asked some general questions to start with and I found out she has a friend she thinks she may like more than just friends but she isn't sure. But that's not all." Leah says smiling.

"Go on what else Leah don't keep me in suspence tell me I need to know" I say.

"Well I brought you up and she said after I quizzed her abit if you were to like her and wanted to date would she date you" Leah says dragging it out.

"Oh come on Leah your killing me here just tell me already" I say.

"Well she said she really doesn't think you like her like that, but we both know you do, anyway she said if she truely thought you liked her like that she would seriously consider dating you. Therefore I reckon the person she isn't sure if she like likes is you" Leah says.

"Omg really? I could stand a chance with Mia?" I say out loud without realising at first.

"Yeah I believe so. And she firmly doesn't want any blind dates atm so you stand a good chance I reckon" Leah says smiling.

"I should send you both to the spa more often" I say laughing.

"Yeah well keep ya staff in control because next time I will probably draw blood if Mia gets assaulted again". She suddenly says angryly

"Oh I went down and had a word to, I was fuming and raging when I heard. I've had jenny sort stuff so Mia can work alongside me until she is happy to go back to the department. And the advertising department know when she does go back they better be on there best behavior. I don't tolerate bullying towards no one weather its Mia or not it ain't happening in my company" I say.

"I know, I was raging as well hense why I went there before coming up to see you and Mia" Leah says.

"Michelle told Jenny who told me how you stormed in there raising hell, apparently there all scared of you now" I say while laughing.

"So they should be" she says smiling at that bit of information.

"Hey its late you can stay here tonight, I haven't eaten though could you order me a kebab while I ring Mia?" I ask.

"Yeah of course I can" Leah says.

"Thanks sis your the best" I say

"I know, I am" she says as I head for the balcony to ring Mia.

I stand on the balcony overlooking the sunset setting across the city while I ring Mia.

she didn't answer so I will try again after dinner I think while looking over the city for a minutes. As I'm about to go back indoors my phone starts to ring

I pick it up on the first call

"Hey Mia" I say

"Sorry I was in the shower when you rang and I just missed it as I ran to grab the phone" Mia says.

Now that's image is making me hard I think.

"That's okay I wanted to make sure your okay and say sorry about today" I say.

"It wasn't your fault though, you don't need to be sorry for what others thinks" Mia says.

"I don't care what they think," I say

"I'm okay now. Thanks for the spa day with Leah I really enjoyed it" she say.

"I'm glad you had a good day you deserved it after what happened it was the least I could do" I reply.

"Thanks, I'm sorry I ran out of work it was just to much, I suddenly got overwhelmed" Mia says.

"You don't have anything to be sorry about at all, but do you feel up for coming to work tomorrow? I have things set up in my office for you", I ask

"You were serious about that?" Mia says sounding surpised.

"Yeah! I ment it when I said Id enjoy sharing my office with you, I always have fun when your around and I get lonely being stuck in my office alone. So what do you say up for sharing my office with me until your ready to go back to the department?" I ask.

" Okay then I will share your office with you. But I think you should hire me a bodyguard you have to may physco women wanting you! I can't be getting attacked no more" She says.

"Don't worry I will be your personal body guard" I say

And I hear Mia laughing

"I like it when you laugh, you should laugh more" I say

"Okay well, I need to go dry my hair. I will see you at work tomorrow" Says Mia

"I will pick you up on the way" I reply.

"Okay then, night Daniel" she says.

"Night Mia, sleep well" I say.

I hang up and go back indoors.

"Your dinner should be here soon, is Mia going to work tomorrow?" Leah asks.

"Yes I said I'd pick her up on the way, it took some convincing but she agreed" I inform Leah.

"Good I'm glad to hear it" says Leah.

MIAS POV

I don't know why I've agreed to go back to work today. Because right now I'm stood in the mirror looking at myself. I'm wearing black heels, grey trousers and a pink blouse. My hair is up in a pony tail. And I'm ready to just get back into my nightwear and go back to bed.

DANIEL

I'm outside are you ready??.

I quickly reply

Give me 5 minutes I will be down

Why did I reply that I should of said no. Ahh what's wrong with me. Sod it my parents raised me to hold my head high I can do this I say talking out loud to myself. With that I get my bag and keys while making sure I also have my phone. Then I head out before I actually do change my mind. I'm still in turmoil on the inside. I reach downstairs and walk outside the building. I see Daniel is stood by the passengers door waiting for me. He looks cute in his grey work suit.

"Morning " I say

"Morning Mia, are you ready?" he asks holding the door open.

I stand next to the door and look at him

"Um, I don't know" I say then bite my lip.

Daniel takes my hand and say "It will be fine I will be with you. Remember I said I'd be your personal bodyguard" he says giving me a cheeky grin and wink.

"Okay" I say while I smile at Daniel trying to give off a confident smile more for me than Daniel, then get into the car.

Daniel then gets into the drivers seat as I'm buckling up my seat belt.

"Your be fine I promise, trust me" Daniel says as he buckles himself in.

"Okay" I say taking a deep breath

"Can I put the radio on?" I ask

"Yeah go for it" say Daniel. I put capital fm on and it's naill horan slow hands that's on.

I start laughing

"Why are you laughing?" He asks.

"Because I just remembered the last time I heard this song" I said

"Oh god the morning of the pancakes isn't it?" He questions

"Yeah it was funny you looked so cute in your own world cooking breakfast shaking your booty, while you sang your heart out to this song" I say

"Aww you think my booty looks cute" Daniels says in a teasing tone.

"I didn't say your booty looked cute I said you looked cute," I say correcting him.

"Well isn't my booty apart of me?" He ask

"Well I can't argue with that" I say

"Well if I catch you crying anytime in the future, I know what to do to cheer you up!" he says smiling.

"Actually you don't have to throw a pancake on your head to stop me crying" I say

"Haha i didn't say I'd repeat the pancake moment just shake my booty" says Daniel

I just laugh.

"Alright are you ready?" Daniel asks as we pull into the parking lot.

"Okay" I say taking a deep breath.

We get out the car and walk into the company building. After a few steps through the door I stop

"What's wrong?" Daniel asks me.

"What if everyone stares at me? What if they get meaner because we walked in together? What if someone says anything I don't think I can cope with that atm. Maybe I should go home" I say starting to panic and have self doubt about why I didn't just go back to bed this morning.

DANIELS POV

Crap she wants to run away! No I'm not letting this happen I think.

"Mia look at me" I say and Mia looks into my eyes. She looks wary like she is won't be able to handle anymore sadness in life atm

"Mia don't worry about anyone else, let me worry about them. you just focus on me okay. I'm here with you and I couldn't careless what anyone else thinks" I say.

"Mia do you trust me?" I then ask.

"Yes it's everyone else I don't trust, in this building" she says

"Okay" I say,with that I take Mia's hand and say come on as I start walking. Mia walks along beside me while gripping my hand for dear life I can tell she is anxious still.

"Daniel don't you know by holding my hand people will speculate more" she whispers

"Let them! I couldn't care less what they think, I only care what you think atm" I say.

As we reach the lift I press the button

Mia is looking around and seems nervous.

So I then stand in front of the lift door make Mia face me. I hold both her hands and say "Mia focus on me, look at me okay?"

She looks up at me but doesn't say anything but maintains looking at me.

"That's it focus on me, no one else they don't matter. You can do this because I'm by your side" I say encouraging Mia to keep focusing on me.

"Okay" she says

"Plus I don't fancy having to shake my booty in front of everyone, I'm shy you know "I say while giving a pretend shy smile to Mia.

Then the lift door opens and I walk in backwards leading Mia in with me. Once the lift doors are shut i let go of Mia's hands and say "see you did it! "

"Only because you helped me "she says

"No because you worked with me" I say "don't doubt your own strength "I quickly add on.

Then the lift doors open.

"Come on" I say taking Mia's hand again as we walk out towards my office.

"I'm not worried about this floor" says Mia

"I know, but I'm worried your turn around before we start work" I say

"Morning Jenny, please bring 2 coffees to my office" I say as we walk past to my office.

Once in my office I let Mia's hand go.

"There we made it my office, actually no it's currently our office" I say

"Well in that case if its mine to I will paint the walls pinks" Mia says with a big grin on her face.

"If that what you would like then go ahead doesn't bother me" I say.

"I was messing with you" Mia says laughing

"Seriously though treat it like your own office to, you can share it with me as long as you like" I say seriously.

"Your to nice to me already I will leave the walls alone" she says.

"Well that's because your a really nice person and I like you" I say smiling

Then Jenny walks in with our coffees

"Here's the coffees can I get you both anything else?" asks Jenny

"Hmm there might be pink paint coming" I say

"I was messing with you however, I may turn your desk pink" Mia says with amusement writtern all across her face.

"You wouldn't," I say not knowing weather to laugh or not

"Try me" says Mia while her grin gets bigger.

"Sir I think I will leave you both alone" say Jenny excusing herself

I take a seat next to Mia on the sofa with my coffee and say "I don't think you can find pink desks"

"We will see" she says

2 hours later

KNOCK KNOCK

"Sir there's a delivery for Mia," Jenny says.

"Okay bring it in" I say

A box is brought into the office

"What's that?" I ask

"Ah I had to buy something from argos" Mia says.

"Hmm what is it?" I asked since curiosity seems to be taking over me.

"Your see" she says then takes the delivery packaging off

"Here you go heres your new desk, your desk is now mine" says Mia laughing

I get up to go look and Mia sits in my office chair.

"You brought me a kids pink make up table?" I ask

"Yeah it's a pink table is it not?" She says laughing

"Well yes for kids for make up" I say

"Ah but is it a pink table" says Mia

"Well yes", I agree.

"Didn't you tell me it would be hard to find a pink table? yet here we are 2 hours later argos express delivery with a pink table in your office." Mia says.

"I don't need that though it won't even hold my laptop" I say laughing.

"I know, I just wanted to prove you wrong and see your face" she says laughing and it was priceless to see Mia like this.

"So what are you going to do with the kids make up table?" I ask.

"Well you can take it along to the charity ball, have it taken to the hospital kids waiting room" she says

"That's so kind of you" I say.

"It's nothing really" she says
