Kana’s POV
“How is it possible that wolves separated from their humans?” I ask Julius
There is no way that this could be happening. Wouldn’t they die if they were separated and if so how are they all still alive? Not that I am not happy, they are, it's just that’s what I always thought. If this was possible, I wonder what else they have been trying to do there.
“That’s what we are trying to find out. If you think about it, that’s what we think has happened to you.” he says back to me
“Wait! You think they separated Clary from me?” I ask him
“Yes. You were in there for quite some time. It makes sense since you can’t feel Clary anymore.” he says back to me
“Oh no. It’s true I don’t feel her connection with me anymore. Where do you think she has gone?” I ask him
“There is a rumor that their spirits can drift around forever roaming as a normal wolf or try to find another soul. I am not to sure but we do know that that was something they were experimenting with there.” he says to me
“Actually, Kaden did speak of them holding an angel there as well. Do you think it’s my cousin?” I ask him
“Wait an angel?” he asks
“Yes.” I say back to him
“You remember your cousin?” he asks me
“Of course. Why would I not?” I ask him
“Kana your memory. It’s not come back fully.” he says to me
“What do you mean?” I ask him
“Do you remember anything about the lighthouse?” he asks me
“A little. Just that I stayed there for a long time. I was weak and then I healed. I heard Kaden and Kyra and they found me.” I say back to him
“Do you remember anything else?” he asks me
I think really hard and small flashbacks come to me. I see a lot of lights. Me lying down with lights above me. I don’t feel anything but I see a lot of knives and tubes. I'm strapped down and wait!
“My wings!” I scream
I try to summon my wings
“What happened?” I ask him
“When we found you everything looked okay, but later at night you …” he says and then stops
“I what?” I ask him
“This is something you will need to ask Allister about.” he says to me
“How much more are you guys keeping from me?” I ask him
“This is not my business to tell.” he says to me
“You are supposed to tell me everything. How do you think it would be if this was vice versa?” I say to him
I’m so mad my body starts to glow.
“Kana calm down. I am sorry. I should have told you about this sooner this was my fault as well. I didn’t say anything because I knew you would react like this.” he says to me
“React? I am beyond pissed. My wings. Why would you not tell me about my wings?” I ask crying
“Kana it was to protect you.” he says to me
“How can you protect me from something I don’t know about. Is there more?” I ask him
“Yes. A lot more.” he says back to me
I can’t right now. I can’t think. I have lost all consciousness. My body glows and my eyes turn to a beat red.
“Kana please. Control yourself. You need to.” he says to me
My hand automatically lifts up and a beautiful electric ball forms with water surrounded by thorns. It magnifies from a small tear to a size of a baseball. I flick the ball past my brother barely and out through the window. It hits the side mountain and what I thought would be a simple small explosion on the mountain was the exact opposite. I look at the mountain and slowly see the whole entire center of the mountain crumble and disappear. As I tilt my head I see my brother looking at me worriedly.
“What is going on?” I hear dad say while running in with Kaden and someone else
“Mom.” Kaden says as he comes to me and holds my hand
I hear whispers in my head and heart. It’s okay everything is fine. I am here for you. You are not alone. Come back mom please. Is that Kaden? I can feel my body calming down. I look in the mirror as my eyes go back to its natural color.
“Mom are you okay?” Kaden asks me
“Yes I am now. I am sorry. I just couldn’t control my…” I start to say and was interrupted
“How dare you do that! You could have hurt someone. Just because you are mad doesn’t mean you should destroy something like that. The animals, the people, the earth. How could you do… “ she starts saying then gets interrupted by Jace
“She is queen, she can do whatever she wants in this kingdom.” Jace says to her
“I am sorry I didn’t know.” she says back to Jace
Who is she? All of these new people here. Did I miss something? Am I not able to remember who these new people are? I’m so confused.
“Mom.” I hear Kaden say but not out loud more like telepathically.
“Mom it’s okay. I will help you. I will fill you in with everything. You are not alone.” he says to me
“How are you able to communicate with me?” I ask
“I don’t know, but I was willing to do it and it just happened.” he says back to me
We both turn around and see Jess and Allister teleport here.
“Babe what happened?” Allister says while he comes up and holds me
Ah I feel much better. So much better.
“I don’t know, I just don't know.” I say back to him so confused
“Hey girl!” Jess says to me and moves Allister away and hugs me
I hear a growl from Allister because Jess moves him off me and we all laugh. Then a glass breaks. We turn around and it's the girl who came in with Kaden and dad. I see Allister flinch and then the girl says the worst words I could ever think of in my life.
“Mate.”
