“What did you say?” I ask her
“You heard me. I said mate. He is my mate.” she says to me
I look at Allister and he is staring at her. How dare he do that. He doesn’t even look back at me to reassure me.
“You must be joking, Kana is his mate. Please stop this nonsense.” Julius says to her
“I am right and he knows it as well, right?” she asks Allister
I am already starting to fume again and I can feel my heart and body burn. I just want to rip her and now Allister for not saying anything.
“Mom. Don’t worry you are not alone.” I hear Kaden again say to me telepathically
“Yes you are not.” says Jess telepathically
