A Mrs. Like Her

Chapter Five

It's been around 5 months since MaNan has left Malhotra Mansion. Raj was never the same. He has become very silent and surely, his strict nature has lessened. Cabir has stopped talking to Raj and Sakshi was the only one to be talking with her. Malhotra Mansion has lost its glory and there hasn't been a single day where they had laughed, together since the two gems have left. Navya was restricted to be in her room only and MaNan are still in contact with the trio, except Raj.

Nandini was crying in a corner in their flat alone since Manik was in the office And she had a holiday.

Suddenly, two manly hands encircled her waist and kept his chin on her neck and asked adorably "What happened, love? Why are you crying baby?"

She quickly wiped her tears and turning around hugged him and said "No Manik! Nothing happened, I promise! I am okay.. I am fine"

"Aye! Mrs. Doctor Malhotra, You can certainly not fool me" He cupped her chin and tears welled up in her eyes and she hugged him tightly "Manik..I am sorry! All this chaos, the fights, I am the one responsible for them.. I know...I am really sorry Manik"

"Jaan! Jaan! Jaan! I love you Nandini..Don't say like this..You are nowhere at fault Jaan..Please dont cry" He caressed her hairs and tried to calm the innocent soul.

"I am really sorry Manik! You had to leave your family for me.. I am really sorry Manik!" Manik kept caressing her hairs "I love you! Please don't say like this! You are seriously nowhere at fault because my Nandini can never be at fault" She sniffed while he kept pecking her face to calm her.

When suddenly, Nandini's phone started ringing breaking the duo. He left her and looked outside and found it heavily raining. Like a real heavy rain! He sighed since its been two days it was raining so damn heavyyy!

"Man..Manik! We need to be fast..Navya di is in labour" She spoke and hurriedly ran out of the room making him panic too.

He quickly took his bike keys since car wasn't on the streets due to rains and they reached Malhotra Mansion.

Nandini quickly got into CaVya's room closing the door while Manik ignored a weeping Raj and moved to console a weeping Cabir.

Soon they could hear Navya's cries and shouts and their hearts literally broke. No doc- Ups! Dr. Nandini Manik Malhotra was operating her.

After some hectic hours, they heard an infant's cries and a smile crept in everyone's face. After around 15 mins, Nandini came up with a baby in her hands decked in towel with a smiling face to Cabir, Manik and Raj.

"How's Navya?" Cabir sounded tensed making Nandini smile who gave him the baby and spoke "She's fine! And it's a boy" Cabir smiled deeply while tears decked up in his eyes and Manik clutched his shoulders as he started weeping.

"Thank you..Thank you so much Nandini" Cabir looked at Nandini who smiled and said "You shouldn't Thank your family, brother" And everyone smiled.

"Let's go baby! Let's go" Manik eyed Raj and spoke and was about to held her hand when Raj slapped him, in a mild way.

Manik looked surprised at him and Raj started crying and fell on his feet bewildering MaNan and everyone else.

"Please forgive me, Manik! I am very sorry..I couldn't be a better father! I know I am very strict and due to this strictness only I lost everyone..E..everyone...And Nandini has made me realise the whole mistake of mine. I have been at fault and I don't want to lose you! Please come back home" Manik looked at Nandini, both with teary eyes and she nodded with a never ending smile.

"Papa, please! You are elder" He made Raj stand up who hugged him tightly and weeped "No Manik! I might be elder to you in age but you two have made me realised how wrong I was the whole time" Manik caressed his back "Humans only make mistakes and I won't let your sacrifices get fade away just because you were at mistake, I love you and will always do" And both hugged each other with a content smile

Nandini stood there smiling when Raj pressed his hands against one another and spoke "I am sorry beta" Nandini quickly held his hand and nodded in a no and hugged him "Please papa" He smiled and caressed her hairs.

"Okay! Will my baby please get the attention now?" Cabir faked anger making everyone giggle. He was about to pass on the baby to Raj and Sakshi when both of them pointed towards Nandini who gladly took the baby and Raj pushed Manik to hug her around. He scratched his nape and snaked his arms around her and both adorably look at the baby.

"We will have one, soon" He spoke making her blush.

"Nandini..Navya and all of us want you to name him" Cabir spoke as he came out of his room meeting Navya. She tried struggling but Raj blinked his eyes.

"Nial...My champion who struggled to get out even when the chances were so low" And everyone felt proud.

All gathered around Navya and that was a beautiful family reunion.
