9 years later.

“Manik, please leave me! Mom and Dad will come and see us” She tried to get him off her but he was busy nuzzling her neck while she was cutting the vegetables. Since it was a Sunday, both took holidays to be with family and Nandini decided to make the food all by own, which wasn’t initially allowed by her over in laws and husband but eventually she made them agree.

“Manik! What are you doing?” She hit his hand when he was about to pull the shoulder strap of her top to which he made a bad face and started removing the hair strands from her shoulder and neck and kissed there.

“You won’t stop, right??” She surely was loving it all, but the place wasn’t correct.

“No!! Because I love you” Manik said huskily and pulled her closer and entered his hands under her top and was about to unclasp her inner when suddenly from behind, they heard.

“Ohho! We didn’t see anything!! Momma Daddy” “Yeah, we seriously didn’t see Anything” Manik quickly got off his hands and both widened their eyes, but sighed as only their back was seen to them.

“Urm! Nandini..I will talk to you later baby” He quickly slipped from there leaving a fully embarrassed Nandini. She turned around and found her favorite Papaji and her reason to smile, MaNan’s five year old naughty toddler, Ameysha, on his back giggling at her.



She was an epitome of beauty an cuteness both, at a very tender age. With Maths constituting her numerical life and science, her experimental life, she surely was a genius at both the subjects along with the humanitarian knowledge at its level best. She was her Papa’s princess and Mumma’s favorite, along with her Daadu’s star and Daadi’s doll, with being Cabir Papa’s Partner in Crime. She was her Bhaiyu’s savior and the apple of everyone’s life.

“Amyy! Why are you disturbing grandpa? He’s so busy nowadays na” She tried to scold Ameysha when she showed her tongue to Nandini and hid behind Raj, hugging him from his neck.

“Aree! Ohho! Why are you scolding the apple of my eyes, Nandu! She can never disturb me!”He caressed her hairs making Nandini smile.

“Oh my god! Will I get to have payasam (porridge) today?” He chided like a baby to which Nandini sighed and she served just a bowl for him, at the dinner table.

“Yes but only one bowl or else the sugam level will increase” She sat beside him on the table and passed on the bowl Ameysha ran to wake up Nial and Neel, Cabir’s two sons.

“Baby serve me too”Manik snaked his arms around her neck making her go red and Raj giggled and kept the bowl on the sink as it finished and went away blessing the duo.

“Here for you” She passed on another bowl to her foodie husband who has become much expressive now. She was about to sit on the next seat when he pulled her and she landed on his lap.

“Manik? What happened?” She blushed and looked here and there to find none, much to her relief.

“Don’t go na! Tomorrow onwards again we both will get busy with our office and hospital..” He caressed her hairs while she snuggled to him and he smiled.

“Jaan! You are such a sweetheart! And I am so grateful that I got you” He caressed her knuckles making her blush “I love you too” And he let out a small giggle.

“Manik? Shouldn’t we have another baby?” She asked, wiping away the payasum from his lip-lines and spoke.

“Why darling? You want one?” He asked like a father.

“No! I was just thinking and had a talk with Mom lately. Amy would have a sibling too then” She was playing with his buttons all this while.

“Oh okay! On a serious note! I don’t think it should be planned anyhow! If the almighty wishes, he will gift us with another Amy this time” He caressed her back to which she pouted “No! Abhilash will come this time” And he started laughing “Oh god! Okay okay! I will try to get you a boyyyy” And both of them giggled.

After two hours, Navya came up to help Nandini.

“Bhabhi! Can you design me a dress” Nandini said while getting the parathas done.

“Ofcourse, Nandu! Tell me what do you want?” Navya owned a fashion boutique under Malhotras and was a very famous one.

“Urm, something from your new collection! Like something based on cold shoulders! That will look the best no?” Nandini twirled like a baby.

“Yeah! That actually will look the best! I will get one for you very fast” And that was it. Nandini tightly hugged Navya who giggled like a baby.

After 2 years.

“Nandini..Navya! Come down “ Raj sat on his chair with one year old Abhilash on his lap sleeping and the rest kiddos in their school.

“Yes, Papaji (Father) “ Both quickly got near him with their husbands and Sakshi.

He signed two sets of papers and gave each, one of them while the rest looked confused.

“This one is for my very favorite doctor! A brand new clinic all for herself” He caressed Nandini’s hairs who quickly shrieked and hugged him making everyone laugh.

“And this one is for my favorite designer! A dress arcade” And Navya too did the same thing.

“What about us, dad?” Cabir and Manik joked when Raj said “Oh! You two stop! I have got you both two diamonds, aren’t they enough?” And everyone shared a hearty laugh when they heard echoes of children “Daadduuu...Daadduu” And everyone smiled while the screen freezes.
